I used Prius Kings to replace the electric battery in my 2010 Prius. The cost was half of the the dealer quoted and comes with a lifetime warranty. The nice thing is they came to my house and installed it in my driveway for a small fee so I didnt have to drive an hour to their shop. Well worth it.

Our Prius dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with all the warnings and our car started to lag and the fan turned on in the back seat. All the signs our bog battery needed repair. We Had a quote from the dealer as well as another mechanic (BigO) at around $3300 to replace battery. So glad I found Priuskings. I’m also glad we had emergency savings. 😂 Overall it was better for us to replace the battery in our beloved 2008 Prius that is our main car, than to try to replace it with a similar car (there’s no way you could do that). We were out the door for around $1877 and that comes with a lifetime warranty. I waited a few weeks to review because I wanted to make sure everything works. So far, though the driver side window control doesn’t do the auto lower when you push it, everything else seems to be working great if not better and the car has a little more oomph now that we have the new battery. There were a bunch of codes that the mechanic told us about when we picked up the car and he said that all the codes were things he sees all the time other than the one that says to replace the 12v (small) battery soon. Super nice guy. Pretty sure he does it in his driveway so if you pull up and think “this doesn’t look like a shop” - fear not, he isn’t going to steal your car. 😳😂 see pic of what it looks like. We hit about 133,777 when we had the battery replaced. Hoping this will take us another 100k!

My 2009 Camry hybrid system stopped working so I took it into Toyota in Orem and they gave me a bid of $5400 out the door for a new battery. I about died. I was actually kinda mad they would charge that much knowing I paid a little more than that for the whole car. Anyways I found Priuskings online and I’m very satisfied with the new battery they put in. The car works just as it did before and even better. The service is a little different than your typical repair shop or dealership cause they just do it at the mechanics house but it’s very low key and he’s a super nice guy. They got it done in 2 days so I got my car back very quickly. Overall it was around 2000 for a new battery with a 3 year warranty. Totally worth it. Do yourself a favor and go with them instead of with Toyota who will nickel and dime you.

PriusKings made my year. After 16 yrs of use, the Main Battery in my Prius died. Normally it would cost up to $4000.00 to replace it, but I didnt want a new battery for my old car that probably wont last another 16 years. Luckily I found Priuskings Hybrid Battery Repair. A re-furbished battery and installation only cost about $1700.00 including tax. It works great and was installed, working and I was on my way again in about 2 hours. This included a lifetime warranty on the battery. The technician was great, knowledgeable and very friendly. Installation generally takes place at the technicians home.I highly recommend this company in my area.

The repair was quick and easy and now I am back up and running smoothly again.

I tried to use these guys but it was nothing but a huge hassle. First off they wouldn’t honor the website pricing saying that the shorter warranty less expensive batteries are poor quality and they won’t do them. From the get go it was an up sell session. I tried to set an appt and they told me to go online. After setting an appt and paying the higher price they wouldn’t do a mobile install due to covid, I asked to cancel and they said they would go from SLC to Orem but would charge a $250 fee rather than include it as advertised. Anyway the $750 battery I called on ended up costing appx $1400 so I went a different route. A joke... felt like a time share meeting!

I dont typically bother leaving reviews. But, after a disappointing experience with the service department at local Toyota dealership and a great experience with PriusKings, I thought Id share. We took in our Toyota Prius to the Toyota dealership because the Check Engine light was on. After diagnostics were run, they reported we needed to replace our battery pack, at a cost of $2,600. Instead of moving forward, we took our car to PriusKings. Not only was their quote about $1,000 cheaper, but when we told them to move forward, they did an extensive diagnostic report and discovered our battery was actually just fine and didnt need to be replaced. It was so refreshing to deal with an honest company this time around. When they looked at our receipt/report from the Toyota dealership, they said the code used to justify and recommend a battery replacement was a very generic code that could have triggered as a result of lots of issues, including just a loose gas cap. So, if you need to replace your hybrid battery, I highly recommend PriusKings!

I have a 2004 Prius that I love. It has 258000+ miles. When I was told the hybrid battery was going out after several error lights came on, I thought I was going to have to have to junk my car. I spoke with Aric several times by phone. He was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He even called back when he said he would. We bought a 2010 Prius from a dealership and within a week of purchase, the hybrid battery went out. The dealership quoted us $3600 to fix it; Priuskings did it for about $1300 and offered us a one-year warranty on the replacement. Aric was extremely helpful over the phone and Steve was friendly and knowledgeable. He found during the course of the battery replacement that we also have a brake sensor acting up; he wrote down the code for us and gave us suggestions as to what might be the cause. For the actual repair, which was done by Steve, we dropped off the car at his residence. Initially we were a little bit wary of doing this, but it was a good neighborhood, the service was performed quickly and correctly, and our car is now in great working order! We would absolutely go to Priuskings again for any hybrid battery needs.

Luckily my son-in-law found this service on the web. I didnt feel it was worth spending $4500.00 on a new battery from the dealership. They were very knowledgable and gave me a few options to choose from. Ive had great mileage and my little car runs better than ever. When the Toyota dealership quoted the repair over 4,000 dollars, I started stressing out about what I was going to do. Then I found Prius Kings via a web search.
