We have been long time customers of Level 9 and in the past 12-month period alone spent over $2,000. We just purchased a new set of bindings and had them mounted to my wife’s skis (after buying new ski boots and having them customized) and when she picked them up the edge under the binding was separated and repaired. Prior to them mounting the new binding they even tuned the edges and did not notice the separation (which you would have). The separation is large, and it was not there when we dropped the skis off. The skis were repaired with epoxy upon picking them up but is saddens me they would not take responsibility for damaging and basically destroying an expensive pair of skis. I am not the person to typically leave negative reviews, but I feel the shop should own up to what they did. I will point out that Mandy did a great job fitting my wife with new boots. Be careful dropping skis off at Level 9 and make sure you take photos of the skis current condition as they said “we did not do it” and we will now have to purchase new skis which is ridiculous! The skis were in perfect condition when we dropped them off with the original bindings on them.
Love L9. They’re the best place for quick service! They don’t always have the parts I need (thanks, Covid) but they’re kind and honest. Stewart helped me out recently and took extra time to walk me through a few things I would otherwise have missed fixing my bike myself.
5 stars for great customer service. I recently wrote a scathing review about a negative experience, but L9 responded quickly, providing options to rectify my initial issues. Although it was a frustrating situation, L9 excelled in working to make it right. It boiled down to system issues and miscommunication, and was ultimately fixable.I have consigned and bought many times from L9 and the experiences have been solid. All except the one problematic transaction (which was resolved to my full satisfaction). I would continue to endorse them with my business.
Sam and Cam were awesome, super knowledgeable and immediately greeted me when I walked in the door. Their service work was done right the first time and they even helped me with a proper road bike fit. Awesome repair team will def bring all my bikes back for work here.
Cool place. you can find anything you need for a Fair price. Winter or summer.
I love this place. Staff is super friendly and theyve got an amazing selection of products!
Ive had several great experiences here over the years. A great boot fittings with Mandy. Also a coupe visits in where they helped find parts for missing or broken parts on my bindings. The latest was during a busy early season evening. The employee took the time to dig through a bucket of old bindings to find a simple bracket my bindings were missing. Im not sure there is another ski shop in the valley that would have been willing to do that. Great customer service! Any ski shop can sell the latest skis or boots, but these guys are really interested in helping the customer out. If youre in the market for anything skiing related this place is worth a stop!
Sam and Cam hooked me up! Came in there with a spacing issue and they got right on it! Appreciate how chill and kind they were, unlike a lot of bike shops. Good dudes! Thanks L9 Millcreek!
This Level Nine will bring you happiness on Powder Days. Extremely large selection of good consignment skis in great condition. Best prices. Ryan was helpful with information regarding some new skis and bindings. And best of all Mandy was awesome with helping me trying to find some heal and toe pads for my old boots that I had no luck with everywhere else.
Great customer service. I called for urgent help with ski boot questions and general gear info. My first call didnt go through due to a phone issue on their end, but they called me back without a moments notice and I was able to speak with someone immediately. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff, specifically Cam, was so helpful even when I called early in the morning. Cam, my man, helped me through everything and I couldnt have asked for better service. I will definitely be getting my next fit from Level 9.
Love the no-frills experience here. Staff is quite friendly. They have good prices for renting and buying. And as an added plus, a lot of staff own dogs that are in the shop!
I went to Level Nine to look at ski boots recently and was recommended that I see Mandy for a boot fitting appointment. Mandy was a terrific help with finding the right pair of boots that fit my feet and style, we tried on about six pairs and narrowed them down to the one that fit the best. Mandy’s boot fitting skills are incredible and I am so happy with how they feel, she was an absolute pro at heat molding the liners, creating custom soles, and getting my foot to pair well with the boot. I’ve always had issues with boots before and I’m glad I went to a boot fitter.
The staff is knowledgeable, professional, and very engaged with customers. For the past three years coming to SLC, I stop in at Level 9 Millcreek, and this time was no different. Had bindings reset for the larger size ski boots I picked up just recently. Could have done it in my home state, but these guys do it right the first time around. It was literally in and out for me. The guys did the work on the spot despite their backlog on work orders. See you next year fellows!
Fantastic ski shop, very knowledgeable. They did amazing work repairing our skis from early season hits and then keeping them in shape for the rest of the season. Highly recommend!!
Fantastic prices and deals on used and new gear. Lily helped me find some great used skis today and she couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Support these guys, they’re great!
Came into town with three friends to ski for six days and the ski shop was recommended. I can tell why. This place knows their equipment and how to tune skis! Broke a brake clip on a jump, went here, and was fixed in 10 minutes. Needed two sets of skis P-Texd, waxed, and tuned. DONE in a couple of hours even though they had A LOT of skis there. The equipment and expertise in this ski shop was just out the roof! Highly, highly recommend them. I wont be letting anyone else but this team touch my skis when in Utah for my next trip!
My two experiences with level 9 have been pretty solid. I had a board repaired and a bike serviced there. The bike went well, except I never got a call when it was ready, so I had to check up on it myself. The board was a similar story, I never received a call when it was finished, and it turned out they didnt note what the repair was on the board and my buddy that picked it up didnt know what they were doing to it either. The end result was they didnt charge for the repair which was a pretty great way of making up for the inconvenience. I would though suggest perhaps some type of inventory management system that would only make the business run smoother, happier customers, and more profits.
This place is awesome! We were helped by several people and they all had great input and did not push to put my wife into anything she didn’t need. Highly recommend this place for all levels of skiers!
Great ski shop with knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices.
This store is great. They do a good job of answering all my questions. Mandy helped me a lot with my ski boots. The guys at the shop are great.
Great service provided by young gun Ryan related to touring/hybrid boots. I was impressed with his knowledge, attractiveness and passion. Thx Ryan for helping me yesterday as i am brand new to backcountry touring and he explained alot about boots, sizing, deals, etc...
Solid crew back on the tuning and mounting benches. Cade and his colleagues did a fabulous job on mounting my skis for the season and worked with me to understand the binding systems in more detail. I appreciated their knowledge and willingness to share it. I’ve been going to the shop as long as they’ve been around and I’ve never been disappointed by the service, selection, and attitude of everybody who works there. Keep up the good work. Check them out for all your seasonal needs when it comes to the great outdoors.
I do not typically post reviews and my overall experiences with L9 have been subpar to be honest, but I wanted to specifically call out Cam and Savanah in the bike shop for being awesome. I took my bike in once to have a tune up and a few weeks later the tire went flat on me for no apparent reason. I took it back in, and both Cam and Savanah helped troubleshoot and fix it on the spot at no charge. Knowledgeable and great customer service from those two!
Left work early to arrive at the shop before 7pm to pick up an online order…was very disappointed to find they locked up early, too bad I already paid for it :(
Love this place! Ben is the best. Nicest guy youll ever meet.
Went in to get some help with my 83 yrs young mothers skiis. They needed bindings. Sales person led us to the perfect set. We purchased them and went back to the shop. They were kickass figuring out where would be best placement. All was perfect until the finish date wouldnt work as we were headed to Tahoe the next day. We let them know our situation and knowing its busy time for them we would just get them take them to Tahoe and have them done . They wouldnt have it. they would do whatever it took to have them done in time. They did not disappoint !Thanks for a awesome experience
Earlier this summer I took my very old and first mountain bike in to have it worked on, as I have turned it into my city cruiser and it hasnt seen any loving for many years. They asked me what level of service I wanted, whether to keep it running or replace components. I chose to keep it running and there was no upselling! Eric did a great job and it looked so good I thought hed replaced everything but he had just given it a labor of love. Much appreciated!
This place is awesome! Cam was great and helped me find some skis to buy and boots to rent. He was really knowledgeable, but explained everything in a friendly and understandable way. I was super comfortable and excited about my purchase. Would definitely recommend.
The staff here was super helpful and friendly, and unlike many bike shops they were great at helping us understand exactly what we were looking at and how to compare bikes. They were also really encouraging of us taking our time to try out different options. MOST ESPECIALLY right now, I really appreciated how the staff was all wearing masks and being aware of their social distance, matching what their store policy and signs describe. The other locations of L9 that Ive been to recently did NOT wear masks even though their signs said they should be. Im happy to give my business to operations who take public health seriously, so I was happy to make a major purchase here at Millcreek.
Awesome staff, super friendly. Their computers were down and they let my friend rent skis anyways on the honor system (we returned them). They also have a pair of beat up skis to turn into a shot ski.
Mandy is outrageously customer friendly. I came in to buy a $650 Diabello that she ordered from the warehouse and she saw a $200 Lange on consignment in my size which fit perfectly so I saved $450! Thanks again, Mandy!
Great service, knowledgeable staff, and EXCELLENT prices! This has been my favorite place to go for any ski gear for a few years now. They have it all!
Went in today to get fully kitted with skis / boots. Luckily I was passed to Grace for boots, after about 40 minutes and 8 pairs of boots tried she found a pair that worked. On the ski side another employee tried to just put me in a generic ski package (didnt ask how long Ive skied or what I like/dislike). So I kindly asked Grace if we could circle back through on the ski side and looked at new and used, ended up going with a used set I think will work for how I ski. And spent about twice the money (I was fine with that) than the original basic pack the first person tried to put me in.The review is more about Grace, thus the 5 stars - if you go in, do yourself a favor and just ask for her from the beginning.
I had a great experience here at the Millcreek store. I had bought skis online and then when they arrived I realized I messed up the sizing for my child. The employees were kind and helpful as we figured out what gear I actually needed and the exchange was seamless. Cam helped me find the right sizes and gave good suggestions about what would be best for my child while keeping costs down. I came out of the store very satisfied with the level of customer service I experienced. I will definitely come back. Thank you.
Smitty did a great job grinding my skis. Friendly and great service.
Tyler back in the shop is the man!! Helped me fix an old pair of pivot bindings.Go here for tunes and any questions you’ve got about skis and bindings. The guys in the shop will hook you up!
I experienced awful customer service here when I came to purchase ski gear. I wasnt acknowledged by the sales rep for a long time and when another two aknowleged me, he was cold and unfriendly. I wont be going back here any time soon.
Ive always appreciated this shop and how they treat their customers. Shout out to Cam in the back. I was under the gun to get my bike together and didnt have the right tools for the job. He showed me some cool mechanic tips, lent me the right tools and I was ready to go in 5 minutes. Thanks again man, hopefully Ill see you around more.
The staff was super helpful and kind, and got me all set for the season this year. They were awesome!!
Great place! Great service. The employees are very knowledgeable!
This shop is great! Even though they were packed when I went in, Sam spent a lot of time talking me through their selection of skis and recommended a few options that fit my style and didnt break the bank. Im definitely going back!
ZACK is amazing! I cannot overstate this. Zack went above and beyond to help me with a specific issue. I have an old ankle injury and have been skiing in pain for TWELVE years due to poorly fitted ski boots. I have assumed for many years that ski boots should hurt to a certain extent. WRONG! Zac took the extra time to look at my feet and recommend a pair of boots with inserts that were specific to my issues. And, they were NOT the most expensive option. I was looking at a pair of $900 Dale boots and I got away with spending around $150! He was very caring, knowledgeable and took the extra time to make sure I was satisfied. I now ski pain free and enjoy time with my family as a result. Thank you Zack. I highly recommend Level 9 sports.
Zach was super helpful. I am the most indecisive person EVER and he waited patiently for me to make up my mind. I was in that store for an obscene amount of time and he never seemed annoyed or pushy. This is a fantastic employee with great customer service skills and you should make sure you keep him! Also, Josh was very helpful as well when I was trying to decide on my ski height and had a million questions. Great employees!!!
This place is rad!!! Staff is all about getting you on the mountain and will do whatever it takes to get you in and out knowing you got the best gear at the best price. Friendly and attentive staff are laid back but know their stuff. Gave me all the information I needed and helped me save as much money as possible, would recommend this place to anyone. Right by big cottonwood canyon and super easy to find.
Easy 5+ service. Very helpful and accommodating. I, a skier, came in with many questions trying to equip my boarder son with gear for the season. Shawn was very patient and helped us out and answered all my dumb questions. The store was very busy last Saturday, but he took the time to take care of us, showed us how to mount bindings, fit everything to my son, and informed us of package discount at checkout. Everything youd expect, he took care of us above and beyond. This was especially refreshing after coming directly from a nearby board shop which had 3+ staff and no customers. They showed us a few things, gave us a few short answers, but didnt seem too interested in finding out what we needed.
This place is the bomb! If you like good deals.
Really helpful. Didnt have the part I needed, but took the time to get me pointed in the right direction. Good dudes.
Sam was terrific! Very knowledgeable and super helpful. He took great care of us! Very understanding people. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
Always a great experience. Service is always good. They are knowledgeable about the products they sell and sports in general. They dont sell used junk, so you can be reassured that if you buy a used product from them it will be good quality. They also have stellar end of season sales to watch out for.Definitely worth a visit for all you outdoor sports needs.
This place is great if youre lucky enough to have Zac help you out. He is extremely knowledgeable about both ski and snowboard products. He has always gone above and beyond to help me and my family find the right winter gear. Awesome dude.
This place is such a gem. Everybody there is super knowledgeable and helpful. Zach will always help you figure out what youre truly looking for, even if they dont have it there, and is very good at managing lots of different interactions while making everybody feel taken care of. Phil has got to be one of the most skilled and knowledgeable techs around and gets things done super fast and really well. Colter is super patient and very helpful, and doesnt care if you try on every boot in the store until you get it right. Even the regional guys that only pop in rarely are amazing, like Ben, who will always tell you how and where to score the best deal and what you need in every scenario. These guys know their stuff. Every time I go in, I leave feeling like Ive hung out with my friends.Great place to buy gently used apparel and you can also find lots of great brand new skis and boots and bindings and all kinds of gear. Anybody who thinks this is just a second hand or used place is missing out big time- which Im actually totally cool with because it means more selection for me.
Tyler the ski tech was a brilliant help like a furry Buddha.
The best place in SLC to get cheap ski boots, hands down. Also a pretty great place to find winter jackets, new skis, and bikes in the summer. If you are just starting to ski, this is the best place to get outfitted. You can find unbelievable deals if you look hard enough and often enough. They also have backpacks and bikes, but the deals are not as good.
Great gear, knowledgeable staff, and convenient location.
Complete Overhaul? My arse... I took my bike in last year for the Complete Overhaul ($200) based on the recommendation of a friend. After having my bike for a bit they called saying I needed a new derailleur, which was odd because it was not that old. I agreed for them to order the part and my bike sat. I called looking for updates and they would tell me the part was delayed and so I waited and my bike sat some more. I called again and the part was once again delayed all the while good riding weather was beckoning so I couldnt wait any longer and told them never mind that I would ride as is for now. The shifting was noticeably worse than when I brought it in as I now had problems accessing all of my gears. The issue would come and go so I figured, they were right I must need a new derailleur. Not wanting to drop another $200 bucks I decided to grin and bear it through the season. I finally decided to buy a new derailleur but thought Id try tuning it up first to see if I could make it work. Sure enough, I could not get it to shift properly. It didnt behave like the derailleur was the issue but instead it felt like the cable was binding up inside the internal routing of the frame. I pulled the cable and it was trashed. Clearly it had not been replaced the months prior in the complete overhaul as the cable could not get this bad in such a short period of time. I bought some new cables and now the derailleur shifts like a dream. So, I paid $200 bucks for them to not do what they were supposed to do and try and make me pay for a brand new $200 part I didnt need. Complete. Utter. Rip-off. I would not recommend using them. Disappointing...
Awesome place to buy ski and snow board equipment. I was about to buy the wrong size, but one of the employees was so nice to show me that I had totally the wrong size and kind of ski and boots. He sized me to the correct size, and even told me the best brand for the shape of my foot. It was great service. Very busy store.
Pretty helpful bike staff. I cant speak to any experience with their winter gear or staff that helps with that stuff. Like every shop the staff will be split in their opinions as to what brands they trust or dont so dont let them tell you sram brakes wont keep you safe. Its all opinion there. Also be sure that you give their clothing and other consignment gear a good hard look before you buy. They have a zero return policy when it comes to that stuff. If you buy some shorts and notice an hour later that there is a tear in it, sorry bud. I will say though that as far as I can tell they have had better stock with clothing where I havent seen any cloths that have had tears or defects in a while. The kit I wear when I ride is great and I got it on sale at 2nd tracks. They have good stuff. All things considered if you are an educated shopper and know what youre looking for and are very keen to investigate the things you buy then its a great place to shop. Good folks here building up an already successful business.
A great place to take clothes for consignment and to look for deals on everything from ski gear to bikes. Everyone who works here is genuinely friendly and will go out of their way to help you. There is definitely a good vibe here that keeps me coming back. Plus, you get to reduce your consumption by purchasing gently used gear and clothing instead of new stuff.
Cam straight HOOKED IT UP in the shop. Couldn’t ask for more experienced guys to work on your gear. Got some planks re-drilled for the season and couldn’t be more excited.
My go to for summer running gear and winter ski gear
Customer service was awesome. I know NOTHING about skiing but my husband skis lots and take a our boys. I went to buy a used pair for my 5 year old, and they were so helpful answering all of my questions. Ive been in this store a few times and right when I walk in, every time, someone greets me and asks how they can help. Which is great because since I dont really know anything it is nice to have someone ready to help to navigate me and give me tips on what to do.
Looking for my first mountain bike with the help of a friend. Called in about a post on pinkbike.com for a Rocky Mtn. bike they had for sale for $3,150. Was a really good deal. The guy on the phone told me to come in and get it. About 20 min later, I called back, just to confirm as I was driving in from Eagle Mtn. The sales associate said Oh Im sorry, right after I got off the phone with you someone came in and bought it.I asked him if he had another deal, to which he said he has a better one for a higher tier Rocky Mtn. bike that was a demo, and it was only $3,499. I asked him to set it aside so it would actually be there because I was going to come in and pick it up.So we get there. Of course it wasnt set aside, but among all the others. But he assured me they were keeping an eye on it for me. We looked around the store and tested the bike for 30 min. Just as we were about to check out, one of the sales guys tells me they had tagged the bike wrongly, and couldnt sell it to us for that price. They would sell it at their cost, but $3,711. They had another bike - XL - the exact same model, and that was marked at the $3,499. Classic bait and switch. Then their store manager wouldnt even take the time to come over to us and speak with us, but hid behind the register checking out other customers (in clear earshot of us and undoubtedly listening in), leaving his sales staff hanging out to dry.I am a business owner and this is garbage. Honor the price that you quoted me over the phone, which is what I based my decision on to drive 40 min to purchase. And this chicken sh- manager who didnt want to honor the price because hed lose a couple hundred bucks. Were talking a $211 difference, not $1,000. Own up to your mistakes. What do you want me to say – we cant sell a bike below our cost. This was his only reply to us, from afar, at the cash register without even taking the time to come over and talk to us. If you dont back your word, what good are you as a business? Margins so razor thin you cant honor your price even losing a couple hundred bucks? Absolutely pathetic. My advice - dont trust a quote from them over the phone. Actually, double check their tags for them in hopes of paying for what you see listed or are told. Youll find out when you get to the register.
My go to shop in salt lake. An awesome combination of new and used gear. The staff has been super helpful every time Ive been in. The shop guys have repaired some edges, done base welds, and mounted bindings for me a number of times and always get it done in a timely manner. Highly recommend this place
Lots of good stuff with helpful staff
Cameron was awsome 🤙
Great customer service. Mounted my skis on the spot. Great value and selection.
Great staff and super friendly. Excellent customer service. Prices are definitely worth a visit if in the market for ski/board gear.
Ive bought and sold used and new gear here and they were a small high-quality, high-value shop thats just gotten better. Amazing deals. I always check here first when I need something for biking, skiing or boarding. The staff is so patient and helpful no matter how busy they are.
Place is fantastic if you want some cheap gear. Can also fan last years gear completely new and unused. Great place to save some money.
Great shop! Picked up a pair of new ski boots at a great price. Salesperson was very helpful in finding a boot that would fit my wide foot.
Top notch service! Tim was nice enough to take the time to true a wheel for me when I was in a pinch. Knowledgable staff and friendly. Great deals on new and used gear! I recommend these guys to everyone. Thanks guys!
Friendly and affordable local store
This is THE place to go in Salt Lake for boots and skis. They have a ton of used boots, as well as new ski boots, but more importantly, they have one of the best boot fitters in the state. Dan, originally from Vermont, he fitted both my daughter and myself and fixed problems with our boots. I had been having problems with the ankle bone rubbing on the inside of both feet and he gave me the best tip ever which was to put extra foam inside the boots around the ankle above the bone so that the bone wasnt sliding/bumping around inside the boot. For my daughter, he gave her a new footbed, molded the liner and she feels like shes skiing in comfy slippers. Dan is absolutely the best!
Love good prices, love 2nd tracks. Friendly knowledgeable staff that is always willing to help you out. Merchandise is cycled so always something new/different when we go in.
Great place to look for used outdoor gear of all kinds - it is mostly a consignment shop, but they do have some regular brands they carry - but dont rely on regular stock levels - pieces come in and go pretty quickly. They also revolve around the sport seasons, so doubtful youll find much off season gear. Service is usually good in the retail section, but slow in the service area. Staffed mostly by young people, that pretty much decide to be nice to you or not depending on how their day is going, but if its a good day most of them actually do go outside and have reasonable input. There are usually shop dogs lazing about that are very easy going, but if you dont like dogs, just a heads up. I swing by maybe once a quarter to check out the goods. And really a great place to buy your used hard goods and def worth a stop to check out if they have the soft goods your looking for.
Nothing bad to say here. Everything that i have bought from here was at a reasonable price, and came with expert advice from seasoned staff. Great place to find cheap gear to get started, or to pick up nice stuff at a good price.
They have the friendliest and most helpful staff around. So great to work with. Made getting my kids outfitted for skiing quick and easy.
I always score at 2nd Tracks. Whether it is ski boots, a new (lightly used) jacket, gloves, or something fun and random. I love this spot and always send my friends here. Definitely check it out if youre in the neighborhood!
I went to get bindings for a pair of skis. The attendant was good at getting me bindings that would fit my level of skiing, but still without my budget; however, he didnt seem to consider that the bindings didnt come with a mounting plate or breaks and that I would need the bindings mounted onto the skis. After leaving the shop, I discovered this and that no other shops available to me were certified with those bindings. I returned to have the skis mounted. They told me to return later and they would be finished. When I returned, I was told they could not get them finished the day of and said they would have them finished by the next day. However, upon returning yet again to pick up my skis, the attendant explained that my skis had been forgotten, but would be finished by the next day. Again returning to the shop for the fourth time, the bindings were finally mounted onto my skis but were not tuned. I requested then that they be tuned. I dont recommend this place.
Their selection is great and their prices are fair. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend over most outdoor shops in the valley!
The best place to sell of buy used gear! Everyone I have ever worked with at 2nd tracks is super friendly, and help you find what you need. Such a wonderful experience, I recommend this place to everyone!
This is a skiers ski shop. Fantastic tune shop. Mandy fitted my boots and did a great job listening to what I wanted and making it happen.
I would go so far as to say this place is awful. I went up to the front twice to ask questions. The guy was more busy on his phone than anything. It was a clear bother that I was even there. No one come to help us buy ski boots/skis/poles--the reason we came in--after repeated questions. The guy even said you need to talk to that guy over there. And then managed to go back to his phone.Go anywhere else for ski gear. If you want better selection and the Four Seasons treatment, go to Utah Ski Gear in Sandy. Its a night and day difference in caring and experience and price...heck, everything.
I had both good things and bad things happen here. I bought a bike from them and it was a solid bike at a solid price. I had such a good experience that I went and got the employee some beer as a thank you. When I took the bike out for the first time there was an odd clicking. Not all that uncommon for a new bike that needs to be dialed in. I went ahead and took it back in. This employee said that I was cross chaining and that I could solve this by getting a 1X system. He also took it for a ride in the parking lot and was popping wheelies. I have no clue how this helps diagnose a shifting problem and I found it a bit disrespectful. I know exactly what cross chaining is and I was not doing it and I didnt want a 1X system. I just wanted the bike I bought to work. I went home and for a another ride and it was still happening and I was absolutely not cross chaining. I called them up and talked to what sounded like the same employee and said that I should get a 1X system. God forbid I want the bike that I literally just bought to work. I went ahead and took it in again hoping that guy wasnt there and luckily he wasnt. The mechanic was great and it turns out the front derailer was hitting the sprocket.Moral of the story is that you can get a great bike here. The first and third employees I worked with were great. But if you ever find yourself saying this guy is kind of an a$$h%&t he probably is and you should talk to someone else.Update: Someone reached out to me and it really seems like I got a bad apple or maybe he was having a bad day. Overall I think this is a great place.
I had gone a couple years without upgrading my gear because I was frightened by the cost, but I happened across 2nd Tracks and was pleasantly surprised by the cost of some really quality name brand equipment. The staff let me browse without bothering me, and when I asked them questions they gave me honest and informed responses. They were also very friendly. I will be back!
I love 2nd tracks! AJ is the dopest and nicest person I’ve meet in a minute. Every time I walk in she remembers my name remembers what I bought last time and asks me if I’m liking it! Hats off to this employee I’d rate multiple times if I could
This place is awesome! I saved so much money on my winter gear this year, thanks to second tracks. They have a wide, and fun, selection of used skis. I bought a pair of icelantic shaman skis for a great price, and they have been a blast to ride!
Ive been going to lvl9/2nd Tracks for years. Great service, great prices, great people!
Kevin the salesperson there is so beyond helpful, so knowledgeable because hes also a ski instructor, spent over an hour with us and giving us honest good advice, would totally recommend going there. Definitely will go back
Good selection, some consigned some new, and some of previous years new items as well. Some of the best prices in the valley. Chill place, no pressure, friendly in-store pup too.
My son started skiing lessons and as a boarder I didn’t know what he needed or how to buy it. No one helped me until I asked for help understanding the sizing on ski boots and even then the guy was pretty dismissive. The deals aren’t that great... I had better luck on the classifieds.
Pretty decent selection but prices seem a little high for used items. Sometimes you can find a good score
If you are looking for new or used skies, bicycle and rock climbing gear. For yourself or for your family its one of the best places to go anywhere in salt lake City and its 15 minutes way from Park City.
Good selection of used gear. Bad return policies. Should let people know that cant return except for half store credit. I wish the sales guy had let me know particularly when I said that I wasnt sure if the purchase would work.
Awesome place to find deals on bikes and ski gear. Staff is super helpful. Great selection of new and gently used gear.
Started going here a few years ago specifically for youth skis/boards. They had the best prices and largest selection of used gear. Watched them evolve and pick up new product lines in skis/boards/boots as well as full line bike shop. Ive shopped around them every year and still usually end up buying gear from them. This year picked new powder skis for 10yr ($190 w/ bindings) and a new tweener snowboard for $150! Both high-end rigs for 40% of retail prices!
