This is my second time visiting. It’s really nice to find Russian foods in my local area. Usually I have to import them directly or a shop in New York. This time I decided to have their full sandwich, Russian potato salad, Pelmeni, with Kvas and for dessert a blueberry cheesecake. The prices are great and the food is even more amazing! You definitely get your value for money with this food and can’t stop getting over how great the sandwich was. I haven’t had one that good since my childhood. The service was perfect and very friendly. The second I walked into the shop, the shopkeeper was very attentive to help me find what I needed. I ended up also buying a small bucket of Blackcurrant Jam. If you’re looking for Russian foods or wanting to try something new from the normal fast food choices, definitely check this place out, you won’t regret it! Еще раз спасибо за отличный сервис! )
Great little market for eastern European/former-Soviet area foods! They were helpful and friendly in walking us through the store and explaining the products. My husband and I had a blast shopping here!
Small place that taste great .Lot of russian products for sale also various drink products
Great place for the homemade food as always delicious. The staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Great groceries. Definitely be back next week to get more delicious stuff.
Amazing sandwiches and borscht! Nice authentic Russian market and an amazingly nice owner. I go back again and again for how good the food is!
Yesterday my husband and i visit this little charming, healthy homemade food. I have try most of the food and the drinks they have, so i decided to visit this place again and again..also i have to mention how was the owner so friendly and nice person, he was explaining how they made the home cheese, the beef and the drinks....
We ordered takeout lunch, browsing the imported Russian foods and snacks while our meal was prepared. Most of all, we enjoyed the blintzes, pierogi, and fudge chocolate treat (Аккондовская картошка)! Thanks for the good service!
Love this place and will come again for meats, pickles and tea. Hopefully when time permits, I will stop by for a meal too. Wonderful selection and very helpful.
This is a great place for Russian specialty foods and Noam is the best guy.
Great Russian food, perfect service! Highly recommend!
Hidden gem with an excellent selection of high quality European meats!
Theres a good selection and friendly service. Would recommend.
A great little deli and store to find some specialty groceries. If youre looking for sunflower halva, they have bulk and packaged. Like black currants? They have lots of products. The staff is very friendly and helpful with suggestions.
Visited this little store today and really enjoyed it! Planning a Russian dinner for my family and the owner was very friendly and informative and helped recommend some great choices. Can’t wait to sample what we purchased!
It’s upstairs and to the left, I almost missed it on my first visit. The railing is a low, so watch any children. I can’t rate this place highly enough, great groceries, best simple sandwich in the valley, and the pelmeni and amazing all with great prices to go with.
Delicious food with authentic flare
Love it here. Naum was fantastic and very friendly. The borscht was amazing as was everything else. They also have a large selection of drinks and groceries.
Delicious food, fast service. Everything about this place is on a very high levelThank you and we hope to be back soon
I was very surprised how small the store is with very little selection. Unfortunately the clerk was not very friendly to me at all. I would go elsewhere if there are other options.
Such a wonderful, little store, with nostalgic Ukrainian and Russian food.
I usually just stop in for sweets. There are candies with all kinds of crazy flavors you never see in American candy, and for a great price. Its mostly written in Russian but the owner loves to explain what everything is and will tell you about his favorites. The poppy chocolates and cheese cake bars are the best.
Really cool guy, and extremely helpful. The food is really good and its nice and quiet. I love going here for lunch all the time.
Fun place to go to. Dont be afraid of how it looks. The owner is very friendly and the store/restaurant has lot of fun things to try.For lunch we had some traditional Russian fare as well as some good drinks. If you are in for something out of the ordinary, go check it out
I went to purchase seasoning packets for my daughter. I’m so glad I did. I found a gem! The chicken roll and borscht were delicious! The owner very kind and patient as I selected my treasures. I highly recommend Luybochka!
Very quaint little market and deli. I dont speak any Russian but the owner was super helpful. Food was delicious and seemed authentic!
Great people and great food! Huge recommendation!
This is one of the best places to get Russian food in all of Utah and most likely the Mountain West! The couple is super nice and while the selection is somewhat small, they carry the essentials like пельмени and вареники, as well as some juices, candy, Russian meats, and Greenfield Tea!My only complaint is that when you go there, prepare to drop some serious cash because youre gonna want to by everything and lots of it! The prices are fair, you just cant help yourself from buying multiples of everything!Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try Russian food!
We loved it. Its a small place, nothing fancy about it, which was perfect. Same with the menu. Its a family owned business, and they are super friendly. Its very well priced. If youre looking for some authentic Russian food, this is the place to go.
This place would make any slavic proud. Opa!
Amazing homemade pierogies!
The most post-soviet countrys groceries are there! I was excited to have a taste of childhood again. I wish here in Utah more and bigger stores like this!
Go to this place since 2014. I love eating there on the way to Russian sweetsood shopping or on the way to little China Town :) Brought to this place all my friends and they all loved it and keep asking to go more. We just eat and talk. The food is always tasty, fresh, price is great! Owners are very nice and friendly.Nice place to get some sweet presents to your friends - I do that all the time and people love it. Americans loved the alcohol chocolate from there: they say its different from all local theyve ever tried.
Now ive never had Russian food before but my friend who i was with use to live in Russia. The place is a little hard to find. Its tucked away and up stairs of an older building. I meet the owner while i was there nice gentleman.my experience: when you first walk in you see a handful of tables, and you see a little market in the corner. the food was made pretty quickly its a self run shop. the flavor was what i expected. My friend said it was the most authentic they have found in Utah. Go its good.
We visited from Austin, decided to stop by to get some Russian food for our American friends. Our experience was absolutely amazing, customer service was top notch. We got delicious borsh with rye brad and salo. The owner was very friendly and talkative and generous. It made us feel home.
Bought some lithuanian bread, its great! The owner is super friendly.
Youd never find this place unless you were looking for it! But its run by the sweetest little Russian couple! And they make amazing fresh Russian food! Its like half restaurant, half market. They make great borscht and vereneki! And fresh Russian-style bread! Plus they have Russian chocolate, soda, pastries, snacks and other stuff!
I am not a connoisseur of Russian food, but I will say that this delightful little cafe felt, looked, and smelled a lot like cafes I visited in Russia. You can get a good meal here for around $10. Dont pass on the juice! I enjoy the apple-peach kind.
Awesome place. Inexpensive and they have lots of things that’s you can’t get many places. The guy is also very friendly.
Been here 3 times with my husband & two sons. Great food! Borscht, Pierogis, dumplings & blintzes are our favorites. The potato salad must be good as every time weve come they’ve been out. Hopefully we’ll get to try it on a future visit as we will definitely be coming back. Very reasonably priced. Owner takes orders & prepares food and is very genuine & personable. Absolutely no complaints.
Cute little Russian store with varied goods. We were able to find most of what we wanted. It was hard to find the first time we went however.
Great food and great prices. Very friendly and helpful owner. Will definitely go back.
Had the pelmini and borscht. Excellent.
Food is excellent, really. I was impressed. A lot of authentic imported products from Russia, Ukraine, including chocolates, cakes, and other foods that I cant pronounce.
Great place! The food is delicious and the service is amazing! Also you can get some Russian goodies as well!

Food was delicious home made in best Russian tradition. Our guests loved it and party was a huge success. Thank you and we will be ordering again and again. Highly recommend.2019The best experience with food and service. Home made delicious food. Highly recommend!
Great food! Feels like you are part of the family when you come in. Traditional Russian as its best.
Real Russian cuisine. Very good prices.
Very good service. Super professional personal. I highly recommend it.
Very tasty food and attentive service.Has a groccery store where you can find real russian products
Very small, but a decent selection for its size. the couple that own it are super nice.
Great place!
The best store, cheap prices excellent food!!! My favorite store to a Russian delicious food. Pelmeny and Vareniky are to die for. Great for catering and goods. Highly recommend this little jewel.
Fun place to visit. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Great store! They have things that I couldnt find anywhere else
Difficult to find using Google maps, but the store was awesome!!
I tried the perogies. Best in SLC so far.
Borscht and Home pelmeni were absolutely delicious! Great food in the grocery. And a nice fine talk with Naum, the owner. Great place for shopping russian food and dining.
Very expensive on everything if compare to Portland Oregon. Prices are closely to Chicago but come on, here is SLC. If you buy less than 15$ they will charge you extra
The borscht and pelmini were yummy! And the owners are kind.
My mother in law went to this place to try to surprise me with Russian food for Christmas. The owner of the store who is from Moldova totally scammed her. He overcharged her for shuba and it didnt even have any fish. The olivea didnt have any of the ingredients it was supposed to either. He overcharged her on pretty much everything else she bought. DO NOT GO HERE. There is a much better store for Eastern European food called Europa down the road next to H&R Block. I have been to this location myself many times, and the experience there is much better. You will do yourself a favor by going there instead.
Great borsh! I also found my favourite russian sweets there :)
I loved everything about this place! Naum the owner is so kind and the food was incredible!
Amazing cabbage peroshky, and the treats are delicious! The couple that runs it is super nice and accomadating!
An amazing little Russian store/cafe.
Inexpensive, tasty, homemade Russian food and groceries from the former Soviet republics.
The food was delicious ya they have so many groceries from Europe!!!!
Friendly guy, very helpful. I dont have any experience with other such stores, but his seemed to have a good selection
Coming from Russia via Brooklyn NY I am a bit spoiled. In NY we have mega russisn chain stores the size of Smiths with really affordable prices. Example: An assortment of russian breads for 85 cents. The prices here are to be expected considering Utah is not exactly a Hub. of importation. Anyway I think the woman could be a bit more helpful but a much needed russian deli in salt lake where there are almost none. There is often a friendly Russian man. The place is an odd mixture of deli and grocery store. As stated good things, a bit over priced, yet its SLC so thats that. Id recommend it.
This is my must-go place anytime I go to SLC. Prices are fair, tastes are delicious! Hard to find, but worth the search.
Borscht, Vereniki, black bread and Zhivchik what else could you ask for? Great service and delicious food!
Very unprofessional Nevermore I go over there
Cool place! Will come back
So many candies and food was excellent
Thank you very much!
My go to place for Russian food and company.
Never heard of it
Хороший ассортимент товаров. Очень вкусный пекут хлеб. Приветливый персонал.
I managed to visit this store. Prices are, of course, space. I visited many of our stores in the usa, but this one is the most expensive in terms of prices. And the cooked dishes look very weak. There is no meat in the borscht at all (according to the saleswoman, they have many buyers - vegetarians), but at least they could put potatoes - in each portion of borscht purchased there were only 2 small potatoes. Well, cabbage rolls are generally out of competition - there is no meat in them, one rice, although the price is 3.50 per piece and the size is not very good. In a word, I will never go there again.Photo of stuffed cabbage (I attach cabbage with rice)
I bought frozen dumplings from you. You put very little meat in each dumpling. But in general, the assortment of the store is decent.
Beautiful place! Delicious real borsch!
Cool people. Real Russian products 👍
We havent eaten so tasty for a long time. With all due respect...
