They kept in contact, and Lloyd came picked up my bike and went over and above what I was expectingIf you value good customer service and a great dealership the Ogden, Salt Lake, South Salt Lake and Logan Harley Davidson dealerships are the place for you. Great service! my new Pan Am had a pin connector problem and the service crew drove 300 miles to pick-up my new bike, took it back to the service dept. then returned it completely repaired 2 days later. They also called to make sure everything was working great. Thanks

Honestly we dont normally go to this location. But I could not be happier with our service this time. We were leaving town on a trip. Noticed a cracker in our rear tire. They got us in changed the tire and washed the bike. Thank you for the amazing service just when we needed. After a 2 hour delay we left for our amazing next adventure.

I had never wrote a negative review about a Harley dealership. The lady that rang me up for my purchase overcharged, And then was annoyed with me for pointing it out. I told her I wasnt trying to upset her and she could not have been last nastier. When I travel I love to stop at Harley dealers where I am. If they would take returns I would have returned my shirt I bought and forgotten all about this place. If you read the history of my reviews I have never once left a negative review before. Learn to have a little courtesy Salt Lake City Harley.

Took the Harley Davidson Learn To Ride course here last week and it was great. I had never ridden before (ok I rode a dirt bike the week before) and it was very informative and fun. Trish, Eldon, and Brian were all extremely thorough and I left the course much more confident and knowledgeable about riding a bike. - got a 100% on my test by the way. Looking forward to getting my first bike!Side note, Ive been in to the store many times and over the past month and everyone has also been super friendly. Love this place!

Just bought a brand new 2021 Sport Glide from these guys and had an amazing experience! My saleswoman Briana was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and very helpful, not a β€œpushy” salesperson at all. Helped me to find exactly what I wanted and then walked me through the rest of the processes. They had a white colored version of the model I wanted but I really wanted the black one, I was told it would be in in 2-3 weeks, but then the very next morning Briana texted me and said it had arrived that morning! I was so stoked. They got everything ready for me and I was able to pick it up that afternoon! I stopped by a few days after I picked up the bike to to ask a couple of questions about it. Briana was at lunch but another salesperson (I didn’t catch his name) had no problem helping me out with the questions even tho it wasn’t his sale. I’ve owned probably 15 or so motorcycles at this point, all sport bikes that I paid cash for from private parties, this was the first brand new motorcycle I’ve ever bought, and the first time I’ve ever bought from a dealership, and the first Harley I’ve ever bought and it was a fantastic experience all the way around. They definitely made me feel like a part of the β€œHarley” family. Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone.

Absolute garbage. We took the bike in to get a diagnostic of what was wrong, and told them to call us before anything major happens. They tore the entire bike a part without ever calling. They did a pressure check and it came back ZERO at the point they shouldve stopped and said there were major issues, but NO they continue with their madness. Get there to pick it up and they had the bike in boxes with pieces MISSING. There were no saddle bags, no seat, no exhaust. The lady at the counter looks at us cluelessly. After paying $400 just to get a bike back in PIECES they didnt even have a diagnostic write up of what needed to be fixed. Lloyd is absolutely helpless and rude. Will never return. Im SURE there are pieces missing, but theres no way to tell when its in boxes. Cant even trust them to put the bike back together.

Ordered two hats 5/18 that were reasonably priced at $24 per hat. They charged an additional $20.10 domestic shipping so total $72.86 for two hats. One hat shipped and received in a week but nothing on the other. I contacted them on 6/2 and was told the other had was showing 6/24 before shipping. I requested it be canceled. They canceled and refunded only $24 so I paid $20.10 to ship one had with quite a bit of trouble figuring out the status on the second hat. I requested at least cutting the shipping in half but they refused to respond after that request. Last order from me and hopefully others read this review. BBB request to follow as well on principal.

Its a really cool spot to window-shop but they never seem to have the parts I need and none of the clothes fit me. The clothes isnt really their fault Im a big guy. But not having the parts is a real downside. My last visit I asked for seven different parts and they didnt have a single one. Like I said its fun to go window shop but then I usually just buy online.

So I ordered some grips from this shop on 04-26-2021. They took my payment and never shipped the order. I called on 05-03-2021 and was hung up on. I called on 05-07-2021 and was on hold for 5 minutes and hung up. Called back and got a live person. Asked to check on an order I placed on 04-26 and was placed on hold for 17 minutes. At that time I got an email that shows my order was place on 05- 07-2021. So after I was on hold for 22 minutes I hung up and called back. And yes I was placed on hold instantly. It would be nice if the management team gets these reviews, because I will tell every bike owner I know not to do business with these people.

Our bike arrived at 4:50 pm. Picked up a 2020 Lowrider S today. I absolutely love it. First bike Ive owned in 6 years that i actually wanted to ride for longer than an hour. Im coming from sport bikes, and this thing handles just fine in the twisties. Wish i got it 5 years ago. Definitely worth the price. Also, Chad is an awesome down to earth sales guy, i didnt feel pressured or forced into getting something i didnt want. Blake and brad are also very good guys. They made me comfortable in my long debate between the Street bob, and the Lowrider S.

I bought a battery from them last year. It subsequently caught fire after less than a week. Fried my bikes electronics. In the end they refused to even warranty the battery, despite the techs agreeing the cause of the fire was poor manufacturing. leaving me with a destroyed bike, and being out the cost of a battery. Failure on all levels here. It’s hard to look at them as anything but thieves. This is not the Harley Davidson your granddad rode. This is corporate America run amok.

Update:The nightmare continues.Years later from my previous review, I have paid off the 2016 dyna that I bought. I paid it off super early and was ensured by Brad in Sales that a refund for the gap insurance would be prorated and sent to me, if the vehicle is paid off before the loan term. I paid it off back in October of 2020 and have been strung along in the process of getting the refund ever since. I was originally told 6 weeks max, back when I visited around December 28th to fill out a form. (After 3 successful visits to this harley, prior).Ive spoken with a person named Hutch in sales at least 5 different occasions and told that he got it taken care of and itd be sent to me. I wait about 2 weeks between contacts, but here we are. Mid March, no refund. Last time I spoke with Hutch was March 6th, still no refund. I dont ever leave bad reviews. Im a pretty laid back and understanding person. But its clear that its a culture thing at this location. Customer always last. Save yourself a headache and avoid em.Also the comments below stated you resolved anything to my satisfaction, which you DID NOT.****Bought a brand new bike in early 2017 from thesguys with stage 1 (exhaust/intake/tuner) pre installed by them. Purchased prepaid service. Every time I bring my bike in for service it leaves covered in oil, as if they have no regard for my brand new bike. Ive had 4 of my maintenance done here so far and everytime the front frame of my dyna is covered in oil so badly that it will blow back onto my pants on the ride home and ruin my pants. Also, Ive somehow had 2 cam cover leaks in 1 year.. both of which times my bike left the shop after warranty repair. covered in oil. Against my better judgement I took my bike back to them and paid to have it redynod after a pipe change. I switched to a Bassani road rage 3, which is a well known exhaust company with reputable results from everybody who has owned them that I know of. The tech calls me at 1:45 PM to ask if I want to have them install a new tire before if goes on the dyno roller - I tell them no. At 4:15 PM I get a call saying my dyno tune is done. To my surprise - the invoice is $422.. claiming theyve done 4 hours of dynotuning. Hows this possible if it wasnt even on the dyno until nearly 2 PM and finished by 4:15? Also... the pictures ive attached show a 14 mile difference. Did they dyno tune my bike at 3 mph for 4 miles? And why was I billed $22.32 for shop supplies? The bike leaves harley sputtering, backfiring, popping, and struggling to reach 80 mph. I call them up and ask them to take a look at it and am instantly blamed. They instantly jump to asking if Ive changed parts or what I did. After that they jump to blaming the exhaust system-as if the exhaust is some cheap off brand. They claim my 2 into 1 exhaust does not make enough back pressure. After arguing with them they agree to take a second look and are able to improve the performance slightly. it still runs flat, barely hits 100 mph and backfires quite a bit.... but it runs a little better. Also, the dyno tuner Sam did me the pleasure of melting his boots all over my brand new exhaust. After about 3-4 minutes with a pressure washer Ive gotten most of the burnt rubber off.. but I dont want to risk scratching my exhaust to get the rest. (see pictures). Upon further inspection my throttle cables appear to gave either been swapped out with some older ones... or damaged during the process (see pictures). Ive gotten sick of calling to argue with these clowns and have since decided to take my bike elsewhere for future repairs and this will be the most expensive $422 this dealer ever makes. Unfortunately Ive already given them nearly $19,000 in the last year. Lindon Harley treats their customers far better and will be glad to have my business. If you wanna make this right, cut me a check for the cost of the dyno tune I paid $422 for (that you clearly DIDNT do) and I may update my ad.

My current bike is a 2014 Triumph Bonneville, it is also my first bike. I am 53 and looking for a bike with a smother ride than my Bonneville because the way it takes rough patches in the road is killing my back. I dont look like a rider, I dont dress like a rider, maybe that is an issue. I am in the market for a new bike and there isnt much in my area. We test drove a Tesla down the street and found the bike dealership and decided to look this past Saturday, 4/24/21, I walked into Salt Lake Harley Davidson for the first time. Ive been lookin for a new Road King and if they had one and in billiard red I might be riding home on it. I parked in the lot surrounded by riders, and bikes. I walked in with my wife and daughter into the dealership heading in to the show room. We passed a group of people working out some issue near a computer station. As we passed the restrooms I looked to my right at what looked like a parts counter. As I turned my head toward the bikes there it was. A 2021 Road King in billiard red. I walked up and had a quick look as I needed to use the rest room. Sitting on the bike would have to wait. I made it back to the bike and just stared for a while taking in and noting all the bikes details. My wife said sit on it. I threw my leg over and had a seat and immediately I could feel and smell a warm engine so I assumed the bike had just returned from a test ride. I could just imagine riding that bike myself. At this point we had been in the dealership about ten minuets and no one had said anything to us, welcomed us or asked if needed help. I sat on the bike for a while longer, stood the bike up and got a feel for the riding position in contrast to my Bonneville. I looked over and saw a red headed woman sitting at a desk in the apparel area glaring at me giving me a dirty look like get off the bike. I was stunned. I looked my wife and asked her, do you see that? I looked back and she was still looking at me then got up and walked away from the desk. I looked around the dealership and was stunned there were no sales people or other employees asking if I needed assistance. After a few more minutes of admiring the bike and discussing with my wife how I would ride the bike back on multiple hour ride home I assuring her I could do it. We also discussed my lack of riding gear on this trip as the purchase of a bike trip wasnt planned but had been discussed. I looked around again for help only to see one employee having a discussion about being a Raider fan with a guy waiting at the parts counter and the redhead glaring at me once again. At this point we had been there for fifteen minutes and after the same treatment at Timpanogos Harley Davidson the day before Id had enough of being disrespect ignored by poorly run businesses. I said to my wife look at her staring at me, screw this and we walked out. We got to the car and I thought no, someone is going to get a piece of my mind so I walked back in asking for the manager of an older gentleman working there and politely vented. He was shocked I was in the store as long as I was and no one had ever offered assistance, got the look I did from the only employee that acknowledged me and apologized explaining he had been busy dealing with another angry customer who bought a used bike with worn brake pads. Harley Davidson is in trouble, sales are down and they are having trouble attracting new buyers who have never owned a Harley Davison. The experience I had isnt helping. The only acknowledgement I got as a potential customer was a dirty look. I was never asked is someone helping you, let me get a sales person for you, is there anything I can help you. I can just as easy buy a duel spot bike from my local Triumph dealer.

This is the dealership I trust to have my road king worked on. The staff is friendly and timely with repairs. They do great mechanic work. I recommend them to all my riding friends. John is the guy I talk to you the most. He’s friendly and genuinely seems to care. Kyle is the mechanic that worked on my bike the last two times and has done an outstanding job in it. Very satisfied!

We attended the Harley Davidson Riding Academy New Rider Course here. It was amazing and definitely worth the money and time. The instructor was knowledgeable and friendly. They taught us valuable skills and gave us good information. We went in having never ridden motorcycles before and came out feeling comfortable to ride on the road and continue to practice the skills we learned and gain more confidence. When I say me I mean myself and my wife. We road Harley Davidson street 500s and also had the option of testing on the 750. Even if you have ridden for years you should take the class. They teach valuable life saving skills! Thanks Eldon we really loved the course!

I wanted to take the time to shout out the nice folks of Harley-Davidson of Salt Lake City. I had originally bought my bike from a different Harley dealer in 2014. I came in to the store to purchase some duplicate keys for my 48, and my key ended up braking in my ignition right out side of the store. James the service director took the time to help me with the issue I had found myself in; as I would have been stranded otherwise. I also want to send a special thank you to Will one of the techs, as he did all the hard work for me and got me on my way(supper friendly and genuine guy). As I waited everyone was checking on me to make sure I was being take care of: from the sales crew, manager, and the parts to apparel, everyone made sure I was doing okay. I will be making these guys my go to; and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Outstanding dealership! I have been talking about trading in my Sportster 1200C for almost two years with the staff. Finally yesterday, Mark in sales took me on a demo ride and I was sold. Working with Blake and Brad on the tradeβ€”in value and the sales price, I am now a proud owner on a 2020 Heritage Classic! Then Dale in parts found the items I wanted on the bike and Lloyd in service was able to get his crew to install them yesterday. My ride home was the best ride I have taken on my own motorcycle to date. Cannot wait to get on my bike again today! Order placed had wrong size sent, notified them right away, had to pay to ship it back to EXCHANGE it, and got refunded (less shipping, which altogether was close to $30) without any explanation instead.Work on your online customer service, it sucks.

I found an item online and went to my local store. They did not have it in stock and told me Salt Lake did. I could not make it to SL for a week, but I desperately needed it. I called and spoke with Michelle, so found the item and set it aside for the week for me. Her kindness was much appreciated in the crazy rush of Christmas! I appreciate that she would fine one last random jacket and set it aside.

Absolutely awesome crew. Was out of town for sturgis trip with a group of friends (I’m from Minneapolis area) we rented an Airbnb in Idaho for a few days, my gauge cluster crapped out on my 16 road glide, these guys were able to overnight me a cluster and get me rolling again. Huge thanks to Troy and the parts department for going out of their way to keep me rolling! Definitely will be a return customer for sure.

Buyer beware bought an amp online had it flashed at my dealer. it did not work. I sent it back for an Exchange, they gave me multiple excuses not to warranty the product. I follow the rules of their website which they changed their website policy after this happened. they told me the dealer who flashed my radio had to warranty the part. They said they would have to endure a $50 fee to warranty the part out. in the end they were rude and I had to file dispute with my credit card company. I told them this and they told me never buy parts here ever again then hung up in my face. Not very professional. Shady stay away from this company.
