I had a mishap with a device that seemed to have messed up my cars ability to start and the warranty provider suggested them for repairs. The staff was very courteous and helped me understand what was going on, they worked with the provider to make sure everything was covered, and all in a quick turnaround.

As a single mom of 3, I tend to worry when my check engine light comes on. We were driving through the area while on vacation, the light came on, the car over-heated, and I pulled into Meineke as fast as I could. We were treated with the utmost care and professionalism, and this stressful situation became a little bump in the road. Id recommend Meineke to anyone! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and nothing will cost you an arm and a leg. My parents live in Big Spring, and they are definitely making the trip out to San Angelo for any of their needs from now on.

Meineke took my vehicle in although it was close to closing time. They were considerate because I had no a/c on a very hot day. While they worked on my vehicle I remembered I also needed to get an inspection for registration and they accommodated that additional task.

We bought a car from CarVana that needed a seat adjuster fixed. They were the only ones in town that accepted Carvanas warranty coverage. The whole process was quick and easy. They looked at the part, ordered it for the next day and installed it. No problems whatsoever and very friendly!

I didn’t catch her name but the receptionist was welcoming and extremely helpful. She was the only employee interacted with but the commutation between her and the mechanics was swift and seamless. I went in for oil change but they were able to assist me with a check engine light issue. She also called my insurance to see if it would be covered before we proceeded. The repair was completed in a timely manner and the pricing was fair for services preformed.

Did a great job servicing my work truck. Only took an hour or so. Descent price ($225) but that is for a diesel oil change, tire rotation, and complete check of all components. And they take fleet cards for enterprise, so thats a plus. Very kind staff. And you will get txt messages about the results of the service(dirty air cleaner, ect) and free mountain dew while you wait🤷‍♂️

Took my car for a third light replacement and realized later that evening after they closed for the day that my light wasn’t working. Left a message and Amanda called back first thing Monday morning. I was able to take my car back in and turns out something went bad with the light and they were able to get another one and replace it for me. The team is very friendly and I am overall satisfied with my experience.

She didn’t understand her job kept going back by the mechanics to ask simple questions over charged the customer in front of me and my husband made me repeat myself over and over and over again and had to keep going back to my car because she wrote down my licenses plate number wrong three times oh and she kept calling my obvious little boy a girl who was in a tie dye blue and green outfit

These guys got my truck in and the brakes replaced even though it was late afternoon. They showed me the brake condition so I could make an informed decision. Finished as promised.

I came here for an oil change before going on a trip, Found out my car had some pretty nasty secrets it was hiding. I had an oil leak, and while itself wasnt horrible, it would have gotten worse, provided where it was. Got it taken care of right then. They told me my brakes were low, and even showed me pictures! it was great seeing why they were saying what they were. Got a good deal on those, and got new wipers while I was at it. And it all took about 2 and a half hours to boot! 30 out of 10, would come again! They lady at the front desk was knowledgeable and friendly too!

Got in soon. Kept me informed about what they were doing. Gave me choices on all services.

I took my 2011 Chevy Equinox in because yesterday it stalled out and powered down on me when I was driving. I havent had any serious issues with the car, only that the engine light comes on on occasion for no reason. Today, when I took it in, I paid $97 for Diagnostics, and the mechanic told me that I was going to have to pay around $3000 to fix the car. He couldnt tell me WHY it would cost that much, that that Oh this part and this part work together and if you dont have one it might not work. I asked a few times, So if I dont pay $3000...my car, will not run properly? He said Yes. He again, could not tell me WHY that was, just that I needed all these parts. I left in tears, because we couldnt afford that. I called Midas who said they charge $67 for a diagnostic test, but that because I had it done by Meineke and they were questioning what was said, they would do it for free. I was there for an over an hour at Midas, the mechanic checked every inch of my car, he even compared the parts that the other mechanic at Meineke said werent working and he said every single part passed and was positive. The ONLY thing that Meineke got right, was that I needed to replace my back brakes, and my air filters, literally the only reason my car was showing an engine light often, was because it turns out the computer in my car was called back for reprogramming years ago due to a malfunction which caused the engine light to signal. So Meineke not only didnt catch THE MAIN ISSUE, but then tried to tell me that I needed to pay 3k to get it fixed. When I called to complain, the lady at the desk offered me a refund IF, I went to the dealership and got the same diagnosis as Midas, shed give me my $97 back. It costs $180 to get a dealership to do a diagnosis. Im not going to pay for another one, just to get my $97 back when everything the mechanic at Midas said makes sense. But I will tell you this, yall will never have my buisness again, and I will make sure people know that your mechanics scam people. Theres a reason everyone says Meineke is too expensive.

This is the place to take your vehicle for vehicle inspection! They take appointments, service is great, friendly and outgoing. Vehicle Inspection is not their main focus, they are also a great Car Care Center! Clean and Effecent and Economical .I strongly recommend them and dont think you will disappointed!

Way to costly. Instead of the average 80 per hour for labor, they charge an excessive 125 per hour. They also tell you you need a ton of work done that is not even necessary.

I paid for the oil change package which should have included the tire rotation and fluids being topped off. I noticed the tires were in the same position when I get home so I checked the fluids and they didnt top those off either. Called them and they refunded some of the money but I will not be going back to them in the future. Check the tires and fluids before you leave if you take your vehicle there.

The man at the front desk was very nice and kept me up to date on my vehicle. They had a slight delay with their machines but they still got us out of there pretty quickly.

My A/C stopped working and I took it here. At first they seemed courteous and accommodating and my A/C even worked after a few hours. The next day, it was broken again. My money was refunded and the owner called me personally to apologize. Good ownership here

I went here for an inspection and a light bulb change, which wasnt expensive. The receptionist had a smile on her face and was patient with me as Im new to the whole adult life thing. On top of not scamming me (very kind of them), they also fixed my window motor on the house! They are a fantastic shop and I cant recommend it enough!

Ive trusted miss Amanda and her team time and time again with repairs and maintenance on the tow trucks Ive operated. Now it was time to bring in my personal truck for much needed maintenance.My dodge ram having problems accelerating, so I assumed it was a transmission sensor, or the throttle body. Turns out I needed new fuel filters and a brake switch. Rude staff. They turn a simple oil change into a moon shot challenge. You are also held captive in the waiting room having to watch their constant advertisements. They take a long time to do anything. If you value your time and peace of mind, I would recommend forgoing this place.

Amanda and Billy got me back on the road in a day when I needed it the most! The night before leaving town the tensioner pulley fell out of the bottom of our minivan and from the advice of our tow truck driver we brought it to Meineke. They put in the work on Saturday to get me out the door before they closed!

The air freshener I picked up was clearly marked $3.99 as well as all of the rest that were in the same display. I went to the cashier and she charged me $4.99, my total came to $5.83 for a small bottle of air freshener. She looked me dead in my face and over charged me while holding the bottle that is clearly priced. Its only a dollar, but honesty and integrity are important to me. I will NEVER return, if you are willing to over price me on small items I can only imagine what you would do for a larger purchase.

I replaced my calipers, brake pads, and rotors for my front axle. The entire process was very easy and I felt like the staff genuinely wanted to help me out. They even gave me a ride back to campus while my truck was being worked on. I appreciate the high level of customer service and their positive atmosphere. I will be coming back for all of my vehicle repair needs.

Nice people, but the work is pretty bad. Ive had a coolant leak and and wheel bearings replaced. Both times Ive had to bring it back because it wasnt done right. The warranty is their best quality.

WOW! I have never seen something so unprofessional. Made an appointment for 1:00 and did not leave until 2:30. All I needed was an oil change. After I sat waiting for 45 minutes, the lady at the front finally decided to tell me that they did not have my oil filter in stock and that they had to order it. She told me not to worry that it would be there any minute. Finally she decided to cash me out and told me my car was ready and they would give me the keys soon. Did not receive my car back for another 15-20 minutes. Like come on people, ITS AN OIL CHANGE. Get it together!PS: the only other customer in the shop was waiting for a while as well, the manager actually had to drive him back to work because they were taking so long! DO NOT GO TO MEINEKE!

Dropped off the vehicle and it was ready in a good amount of time. Staff worked quickly and didn’t try to sell me on other products. Just the stuff I asked them to look at.

Went for an oil change and tire rotation which set me back about $40, no big deal. As soon as I got in my car to leave, the battery dies. Since I was due for a new one, I went inside to buy one. $228 for a battery thats worth half as much with like a $30 installation fee and taxes set me back $300 total. Before selling me the battery they offered me a $40 diagnostics service which I promptly declined. Will not be coming back here. They seriously overprice some of their services.

They also tried to charge me for a part & installation that was going to cost $200+. & the part was $12. & here’s the best part: That’s NOT even what was wrong with my car, it was an entirely different part & installation shouldn’t of even cost more than $70. So I was about to be out of $300+ & it wouldn’t of even fixed my issue. I’m a college student, they saw my college ID when I paid, & they didn’t care, just wanted to rob me of anything they could. DO NOT GO HERE.

Excellent service at a good price. On top of great work is the owner’s dedication to customer service. Tony, the owner, has traveled with a mechanic two times to me when I broke down with issues because of an old truck. The issues were not because of their work. Tony and the mechanic worked to repair the vehicle some 50 miles from their shop. Tony is honest with a possible mistake from a mechanic and reimbursed me when I did not even ask. I’ve never ever had a mechanic offer to make it right like Tony has. The mechanics are personable and the shop foreman, Alex, explains things well and lets me speak to the mechanics with questions instead of disallowing access to the shop area. I’ve had a lot of work done to an old fixer-upper truck and am really glad my repairs started with a visit to Meineke in San Angelo, TX.
