Please return the keys that were issued to your company by our office. Also, we were told that the remainder of personal pictures would be given to unit #105 as they are relatives of the estate you were selling. As of 10:00 a.m. September 23, 2021 those pictures are still in the home. We were also told that everything would be sold or disposed of yet we are finding several drawers full of items including bakeware under range. Megan, please feel free to contact us.Update - Megan did call me. She is taking care of this situation herself! In spite of the fact that she was currently caring for an injured family member. Thats dedication! Thank you, Megan, and I am praying for your family.
Very disappointing. We dealt with Ben Hays exclusively to sell the contents of relative’s house. We took Ben’s offer for a flat price for the entire contents, specifically stating that we did not want an estate sale to be held. Ben said that was fine because he’s “booked until November” for estate sales. Sounded like a “win-win” to us. We live out of town so when he gave us the agreed upon money we gave Ben the key to facilitate removal of contents. Big mistake. The original plan was to have the house cleared out by Tuesday which ended up changing via text that he would be out the following Sunday or Monday. Weird, we but figured it was a staffing thing. Next thing you know we find out that an estate sale is being held at the house…without our knowledge or approval. The crew had been in and out of the house the entire week. Areas specified to be off limits had been plundered – they ate the ice cream in the freezer, drank our bottled water, took about $50 worth of paper products (plates, cups, bowls, tp) that were put away in a cabinet we told him was not part of the sale.In the end we drove 4+ hours to San Angelo to check out the house and change the locks after Ben broke our trust in him and Kaleidoscope Estate Sales and Consignments.Good thing we did because we found a bag of breakfast burritos on top of the fridge (see pic). Imagine what that would have been like after several weeks…Ben does not have integrity and is not to be trusted. Might be ok to work with if you live in San Angelo and can keep an eye on him and his crew.
If you are looking for a place to get unique items, help furnish a home or add to your treasures this is the place to shop. I have been shopping with these friendly people for a while and I look forward to each sale. Oh yes for the guys tools, tools, tools. If you need to have some one do your estate sale these folks will take care of you. So professional and they will show your things in a beautifully organized way.
Ben and the entire crew were personable and professional. They set up the house to make everything look pleasant to the eye. Everything was organized with the utmost care. Many people came to view and buy.Thank you for making this time of sorrow a little bit easier for our family by taking care of us.
Thank you Kaleidoscope Estate Sales for your excellent service! Our family was going through a difficult time and needed a company we could trust to sell our mothers belongings. We siblings all live out of town and it was time to move Mom. We can’t tell you what a relief it was to simply move the items Mom would take with her and then turn the keys to her home over to Kaleidoscope to handle the rest. YEP! That is exactly what we did and Kaleidoscope did not disappoint. Ben and his crew handled everything with professionalism, the neighbors were complimentary of how the sale was handled as far as it affected them, the home was left clean and ready for the buyer. Ben was open and honest, kept in touch with us as to what was happening before, during, and after the sale, he sent us pictures of the set up for the sale, and pictures of the home afterward (nice and clean). We would not hesitate to recommend Kaleidoscope Estate Sales.
This is the only Estate sales my family and I go to they are super friendly and go out of their way to help you in any way possible. Im always looking forward to their next ones.
My family and I always go to the shop and the Estate sales...Very friendly people and great prices on everything. I always enjoy the environment when we get to go because you never know what you are going to find...Thank you Ben and the whole Kaleidoscope team.
Ben and his team are experts! They did an awesome job with our belongings: from organizing, to staging, to selling. It was such a relief to leave all the work to Kaleidoscope and know that it would be done professionally. Our estate sale results were beyond our expectations due to the work of this outstanding team.
Bens team is top notch! They were efficient, honest and a pleasure to work with during a very stressful time. In fact, they are stress reducers or were for me. Before using their services, I called several friends in San Angelo (i.e., business owners, children of parents that had passed away, etc.). Each individual encouraged me to depend on Ben and his team - based on their experiences with this business. Since my experience with Kaleidoscope, I have happily referred Ben to 3 families in San Angelo that are dealing with the passing of a loved parent(s). And, Ill keep on referring others to Kaleidoscope. They are quick to respond to any inquiry and deliver white glove service in an era when customer care is fast fading.
What a jewel this place is!!Went in on a wim and found some of the most amazing things. Super friendly folks and great customer service.
Great estate sales, very organized and they are very friendly. Fun to do on the weekends and you never know what you are going to find.
This guy Ben is a scammer. He sells products for less but tells the owners he sold them for more so that he can take a bigger percentage aka he’s a thief. and unprofessional. Also doesn’t respond to customers after taking items in as consignment and never pays them after they sell. Seems overwhelmed and can’t seem to uphold his word when it comes to anything. Don’t do “business” with this guy.
Unique furniture and decor. Staff is super friendly - fun place to stop in and look around.
I was very disappointed to find that Ben, the owner of Kaleidoscope Estate Sales in San Angelo, felt it wasnt worth his time to host a rather large estate sale in Brady. He asked for a few pictures and didnt even come to the house to see the quantity of collectibles my mother had acquired during her 82 years. Must not want anymore business...
Very nice lady and great deals
