Prices are good and reasonable. One of the drawbacks is limited selection

Overall an excellent place to grab groceries or other essentials. Knocked off a star only because it often takes a while to restock some things, and some items will be out for a week or more (ex. chocolate almond milk). Other than that, service is always good, most items are of normal or above average grocery store quality, and some of their in house stuff is great.

I’ve been to a fair number of commissaries, this one is managed with mediocrity. They often run out of popular items and instead of restructuring the store to allow for more stock, they just run out frequently. Also, I was here for a course in February 2021 when a snowstorm hit. The manager didn’t adjust the Google maps page to show differing hours, just randomly closed the store. I can understand efforts to keep employees safe, but people also need to eat. The manager could have simply adjusted for later, daytime hours making traveling safer. I’ll bet the local grocery store or Walmart didn’t completely close, but I had no way to know since I didn’t have a car and couldn’t leave anyway due to Covid restrictions.

Its your average commissary. It is a bit on the small side, but given the size of the base that is to be expected. The selection has the same issue. However, the service is great and the cashiers are always super polite. I also enjoy that there usually are not baggers here hassling for tips. It is one of the annoying parts of going to the commissary.

This commissary has a large election and is kept very clean. The staff is friendly and care about your service.

The workers are nice, but Im not fond of their produce selection. Its not great.

I love the commissary. They carry almost everything I need. You do have to have a military Id to get on base and use the commissary.

Selection is smaller and smaller. Whats worse is that management cant get what you want.

Its a small commissary that caters to lots of first term airmen. So the packaged and processed food section is fairly large, while the fresh fruits and veggies are not. They do have a gluten-free section and do sell a few organic and natural products.

A small commissary for a small base. Good selection of everything you need. HEB and Market Street are only a short drive away for anything else they dont carry. Cashiers and baggers are always very friendly. Very knowledgeable with WIC. Best of all, it is never crowded.

Its a commissary. Not the biggest or even the best stocked commissary out there. With the amount of people stationed at Goodfellow youd think it would be larger but the staff does the best with what they have. As with every other commissary your looking for the basics they should have it something more specific youll probably have to go to HEB

Excellent staff as always. Great value in the items they stock. However, the gradual absence of items I used to buy there continues. Disheartening

Has what I need st the prices I need it. Brand selection isnt as large as Walmart or HEB, but it still is good.

Pretty good selection, could be better. Very fresh produce, meat prices are good. Self checkout was a pain, needed assistance for almost every item.

It is really all we have here at Goodfellow. It could be bigger and the produce department needs to get people that know how to handle fruits and vegetables..... The meat department is decent

Clean, pleasant enough, and cheap place to shop. Its like Walmart if Walmart was really classy. Please pay the old retiree baggers instead of the whole, they work for tips only deal.

Dont buy produce here and you should be good. I got here for my meat, rice, and frozen items. The variety of items is very slim. Check your dates on everything, not everything rotates fast. I like the paninis from the deli.

I cant get over that overwhelming sushi smell that punches me in the face when I first walk in. Because of that I only come here when I absolutely need to. The selection is terrible, especially in the produce department, but the staff is really nice.
