Place is great. Good selection of firearms,ammo, accessories. But before you commit, shop around. I have found items at lower prices at other places. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Was traveling though town. Thought Id give outdoorsman a chance l. I was in search of felt for my arrow rest. A gentleman named Pierce approached me and knew exactly what I needed. He also offered to go ahead and replace it for me. He had it set up and ready to rock n roll in 5 min. Did a great job.

Outdoorsman is one of my favorite places to go to. They have a lot of great choices of firearms, ammo and accessories. The staff is knowledgeable and mostly informative. decent parking. ( small strip mall) they get very busy during the weekends. So I usually go during the week days. But I recommend giving them a visit for your guns and other needs.

I put a gun on consignment there and with ammo. I change my mind got the gun and ammo back. Counted the ammo and 100 rounds where missing. The store owner said I was a liar. They cant be trusted.

Asked for Brandon, as per prior review. He doesnt work there anymore. However, the archery guy Melvin was outstanding!1) I brought in my bow with its makeshift string. He was honest with me and told me that string was good enough I didnt need a new one (which costs $25).2) He adjusted the string on my bow, and added a nock point.3) I got great advice on which arrows to buy.4) He trimmed the arrows and added inserts on the spot.Im not certain all these extra goodies were even included in the price. Then the gentleman at the front (I didnt get his name) gave me a military discount on top of all that.Note: Military discount is only for active duty.Overall, I love this place. The prices are good (arrows range $6-11 for one, and $50 for 6), the goods are quality, and the service is better.Oh yeah.... Im a woman. This kind of place typically caters to men, but they didnt bat at eye at my gender. Ladies, pop in if youre looking for a sporting goods store which isnt misogynistic or condescending.

This is my favorite gun store in town. The guys are all really friendly and really helpful. Melvin is an archery pro and has helped me way more than he probably should have lol. I’ve been buying guns for the better part of 15 years and this is the best place I’ve ever gone. I’ll gladly buy from them instead of going online even if something may be cheaper on amazon.

Great experience purchasing a firearm here. The staffs are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. You’re pretty much paying MSRP and offer blue label (discount) for military or LE. Highly recommend.

Great service! All staffs are quite friendly and they will ask you if you need any assistance and if you do, you will find your answer. Nicely stocked rifles and handguns, and military discount is available, .22s are stocked consistently. Also they will order whatever you need, and pretty fast at it too, as long as they can get it in.

I bought my first compound bow here & Im new to archery too, the staff here was really Great! They were really helpful in my needs & took the time to adivise me on correct technics & proper equipment. They were busy with other customers at the time too, but they took the time to help me & get me fitted to the bow that was just right for me. Some of their customers there were very helpful too. The customer service is second to none. Unlike other outdoor stores in the area, the employees are not paid on commission and will therefore answer your questions, nor will they talk down to the cuatomer.

Knowledgeable and personable staff who seem to really enjoy what they do. Prices were consistent with quality and it didnt look like anything was ridiculously over priced.

The Outdoorsman has been around a while. Good local business. Their FFL shows up on a lot of websites when you order guns. However, if you call them or go to the store, they will only let you ship a gun to them from online if they dont sell it in their store. If its in stock, youre going to pay pretty much the MSRP price. Regardless, these folks have alot of knowledge on suppressors and long range shooting. Theyre one of the few places to get archery equipment, too. I think everyone is trying to figure out the new passes needed for Twin Buttes, but you can get the passes and fishing licenses here too. Just be sure to do your research and homework on which pass you actually need for Twin Buttes hunting area. If you need small work done, like sights put on your pistol, they can do it there, unless its an XD. Great folk, weve purchased many guns from them and through them. Very helpful.
