Yummy ice cream! We ordered three different flavors and all of them were excellent. Prices are fair and service was good. We had a good experience here and we will definitely be back. I definitely recommend this place!

The ice cream here is literally amazing. Sometimes it gets a bit packed but its definitely worth the wait. The staff is very nice and helpful. It was our first time visiting San Angelo and we were obsessed with the ice cream here! We went twice! My personal favorite is the Blueberry Lavender, which i think is a rather special flavor i have never had anything like it before. Definitely should check them out.

Went here for the first time and let me just say Ill definitely be going back. Their ice is amazing. They have different flavors of ice cream as well as different flower of waffle cones, and different sugar cones. Their shakes are amazing too.. friendly staff and well clean business. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place smelled so good when we went in. They were making homemade flavored waffle cones. The icecream was great as was the clean environment. I felt the decor to be a bit much with all the oversized photos of children eating cones. Also, theyre frappe has Starbucks blown outta the water. To the team: you guys are everything an icecream parler should be.

Our favorite place in San Angelo. We don’t miss an opportunity to go get their delicious ice cream. Our lactose intolerant daughter-in-law never has trouble finding a variety that fits with her dietary needs. They are masters at finding interesting combinations of flavors. Just go.

Its a nice place to escape the heat with friends or go on a fun date. They also have prepackaged ice cream containers with their unique flavors if you want a bit more than just a cone to take home.

This place is extremely unique and delicious every week they add a new flavor which is amazing I would never be able to pull that off. I love that they were able to do that. We were visiting San Angelo en route to NM for spring break. We always love finding a local ice cream shop. This place is amazing and rivals Chocolate Bar, Amys, and Lick (for those who have been to these places elsewhere in TX). We had the Ghirardelli chocolate chip, roasted strawberry, and blueberry lavender flavors. All were awesome. I highly recommend this place!

The Ghirardelli chocolate chocolate chip with a coconut waffle cone is my favorite combo. They always have new flavors that are funky yet delicious. They also have dairy free options and sorbets. This is more than just an ice cream parlor, the staff is so wonderful that it truly feels like an ice cream social.

Tasty selection, friendly, I had the Blueberry someting, it tasted great. I guess they also have a daily special. Ice cream was frozen hard, I like that.

I am glad they have this open for the summer heat of Texas! I like that they have a variety of ice cream flavors. Their flavored cones are homemade which is awesome! Gotta try one! Im glad they have lactose free options but theres only 2 which makes me sad still. However, the staff is kind and willing to let you sample a flavor. This is our favorite ice cream shop in town! They have both classic and unique flavors and the employees are always nice and helpful! My personal favorite flavor is roasted strawberry. The kids cone is the perfect size for my two year old. Highly recommend on a hot summer day, or just a fun evening outing after dinner.

I came into this local shop of 40+ years for a second visit, this time inside vs outside. This time I got to meet the owner Scott whos been at the helm since July 2018 after taking over for his father, the business originator in 68. I also got to try out a custom built 3 scoop sundae with hot fudge, whip cream, toasted pecans and a cherry. I picked roasted strawberry, Ghirardelli chocolate chip and Madagascar vanilla as my 3 flavors. Talk about a trifecta of flavors and superior ice cream texture! OMG this was good! They use all super premium ice creams with all 12 static flavors they offer year round. 14% butterfat leaving it rich, creamy, thick and pungent with more flavor vs air. They also have 3-5 rotating seasonal flavors as well. I have never seen the flavor options that they offer here, any place else, making it a unique experience. The authentic flavor within the ice cream flavors I got in my sundae and in my samples were spectacular. Scott is also a wizard of ice cream making knowledge! Ask him anything you can think of and he can answer it and explain it in a way even I can understand. Fascinating and delicious! They have all their flavors in hand pack pints for take out at $8 each as well.

A great change of pace... My usual go to for ice cream is Sonic or Baskin Robin but now the Latest Scoop will be a regular sweet treat for me and my family. So many great flavors and being family owned is a definite plus.

Best Ice cream place in San Angelo. Their Ice Cream is made by the owners on site. Their Roasted Strawberry is divine and the Sea Salt Butter Pecan in so so delicious!!!! They have flavored water cones that you can choose to combine with the ice cream flavors you chose. They also have fruit smoothies and shakes, as well as lemonade and root beer floats. They also sell their ice cream by the pint and quarter.Go check it out. It right at downtown so it is really cool to grab a cone and walk around although staying indoors might be better if you dont want your ice cream to melt really fast.

We LOVE the latest scoop!! Its all homemade ice cream and its absolutely delicious. Whenever my husband mentions ice cream, they are my first go to!! You can taste test all the flavors youd like and they come up with different flavors pretty often too!! The scoops are also so huge, you definetely get your moneys worth! The servers are always friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the place is very well cleaned and maintained. I extremely recommend the latest scoop!!

Home made ice cream is always a must-try, and The Latest Scoop does not disappoint! The list of available flavors looks underwhelming at first, but then when you stop and realize a smaller list probably means better quality, its quite forgivable. What they lack in ice cream flavors they make up for with waffle cone flavors! Flavors like Orange Creamsicle and Cinnamon; the later of which pairs fantastically with their Mexican Vanilla ice cream! Imagine a Horchata in the form of an ice cream cone. Definitely a must try place for dessert!

And I really appreciated that they have vegan and dairy-free flavors! And not just one sad and lonely vegan flavor; theres a great variety of vegan options! This is the best ice cream shop Ive ever been to! Each week they have new flavors and you get to try a free sample. If you cant decide what you want you can ask for a free sample, no problem. Ive tried many of their flavors and all of them are good! I vouch to say they have the best ice cream. We choose this place over Red Robbin and Marble Slab.

Really good ice cream. And I should know Ive grown up in Fort Worth and currently live in Dallas. So ice cream shops are a dime a dozen. This one truly is exceptional. I make sure we go there every time we visit San Angelo which is often as we can.
