The donuts here are excellent. They are still warm when you get them. They taste more like a cake to me than a donut. I think the ingredients are of better quality than your run-off-the mill donut. I had the peanut butter and jelly donut and the peach cobbler donut. They were both great. I didnt have any of their milkshakes but they looked as if they would be really good also.

These were the best donuts ever. Reasonably priced, too. The cold brew coffee with cream was delicious. The staff was very friendly. The donuts were very cake-y, but also super moist. I highly recommend.

We tried the sausage egg breakfast sandwich and six of their donuts. The sandwich was ok. The donuts were fresh and amazing. They make them right in front of you so they are fresh every time. We will definitely go back very soon.

I am officially a Duck Donuts convert. These are spectacular!! Made fresh, with fantastic selection of toppings. I had bacon, egg and cheese sandwich topped with Maple and bacon and they were not stingy with the bacon!! So good! I can never have a plain egg bacon and cheese sandwich again. Definitely visiting this place again.

My go-to sales call gift is Duck Donuts. They always do a fabulous job. In the bathroom is a sign of a duck saying “my superpower is making donuts- what’s yours?” And that really is their superpower. No one does it better in my opinion. These donuts are always a hit- warm, gooey, unique, sensationally delicious, no two alike, and they command respect. The duck doughnuts restaurant itself would be 5 stars easily if it were not for the 3rd delivery from Uber that never showed up and canceled the delivery after picking it up. I read a review before that cautioned about this and “yep” they got me as well! Had to drive to the location almost being late for an appointment but the nice folks at DD remade the order but I was out of the delivery fee and a tip that I applied to the driver when ordering from the website.

Unfortunately our experience was not what I had hoped. We ordered breakfast sandwiches but the cashier didn’t take our order correctly. They told us our order was being made more than once and it was not. We waited 20 minutes and finally cancelled our order with no apology or explanation from the staff. Our “hot” coffee was cold. No manager was available me or tried to help either . The only positive was the donut girls were efficient and polite.

Friendly staff prepared my made to order donuts & served them hot and fresh. The wait was short and worth it for freshness like this.

I recently found Duck Donuts & I wish I had known about them longer. They have the best cake donuts in San Antonio! (Trust me Ive searched) Even the customer service is outstanding. I like to purchase through the app that way I get bonuses like free donuts & coffee sometimes. One time I accidentally forgot to pick up my coffee, I got too excited about the dozen donuts I just ordered. Since I live so far away I didnt go back to pick up my forgotten coffee, instead when I did go back about a week later they remade my coffee I had left. I wish I had one closer to me, Id be there every day!

After a very long wait, I asked for my coffee. The girl behind the counter said someone would take it to the pick-up spot later. The coffee was right behind her and she was doing absolutely nothing at the time. I appreciate the manager/employee who immediately asked what I needed and then turned around and gave it to me. It took 10 seconds. Good Customer service pays the bills. I recommend retraining for her. Oct 9 Noon.

I am writing this review to be completely honest with you about my experience at Duck Donuts. This was my second visit end it was just as amazing as the first. You can always tell who the managers are because nowadays everybody else wears a T-shirt and the manager wears a polo shirt. There was a gentleman and a young lady in polo shirts. Everybody was working together so well and especially those two. I am writing because there was a gentleman in front of me who was very impatient. I could hear him saying before he even ordered. How long was it going to take? Then he said they better hurry up because he does not have time. Mind you I ordered quite a bit and the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out was probably less than 10 minutes. I consider that amazing because the donuts are made fresh to order every single order. The gentleman was very upset and didn’t want his food, which mind boggles me because it had not even been 5 minutes. I spoke to the manager and apologized that he had to hear all that yelling. He told me that he was used to it and not to apologize because it was not my fault. It’s pretty sad that people don’t have a little patience for some amazing quality Donuts. I’ve never written a review before and I know this is kind of long. But I hope whoever receives this that you recognize that crew and those two managers because the store was very clean every was working very fast. This is my new favorite sweet treat and donut shop. I will be back every week for my donuts, my grandkids love them. And I am a hero when I bring donuts to them. Thank you for your time and everybody who reads this needs to go and try Duck Donuts off of Huebner Road. You will have the experience of a lifetime.

Good vanilla cake donuts with whatever topping you choose. They make them fresh when you order them so be sure you have some time to wait. That were only two orders ahead of us and it took 15 minutes. I cant imagine how long it would take if they were crowded.

Maple bacon donut is superb! If you like bacon they load it up, and they are all handmade to order so you know its fresh! This place has some of the best donuts in San Antonio. Parking is a bit tight being in a strip mall, they also take military discount!

I’ve only come to this location 3 times, and 2 of those times the owner was here. He was working along side the employees, helped me with a mixup in my order, and was all around about the customer and teamwork. The rest of the staff has also always been great! I have had cake donuts before and I was like, I hate cake donuts. Well, Duck donuts flipped that around. They are so warm and light and fluffy and have such a variety of flavors and toppings. Oh my God they were so good. Not to mention the breakfast sandwiches were SO good on the donut bun. The sweet and savory was absolutely delicious. Extremely happy I finally went on to try them fresh.

I was on my way to my nail appointment and feeling like I needed a snack. I was early and remembered that today is National Doughnut Day!There was an inflated yellow duck outside and a kiddie pool which was perfect for the hot day today.Stopped by Duck Donuts and they were giving away free cinnamon sugar and powdered sugar donuts! I tried the cinnamon sugar one and I dont think Ive ever had as freshly made donuts as these. Super yummy!I also got a donut for my husband to enjoy - blueberry coating with Graham cracker crumbs and raspberry drizzle. Hope hell like it!Thankful for the coupons that they gave out today. Definitely will be back to try more flavors!

Really cool concept. The donuts are made right in front of you. You think they are cake like donuts but they are not. They a good flavor and consistency. The line was out the door but didnt take long to the donuts. Besides you had extra time to watch them make the donuts. Not something I would do on a regular basis but really enjoyed the concept and the donuts.

I never knew a donut could be so extraordinary! The variety is vast. We ordered the build your own dozen and not a single one disappointed. They fry the donuts right before your eyes then make every single one to order. It was exciting to watch, quick, and the service was speedy. We definitely recommend and will return!

I visit Duck Donuts almost every time Im in Virginia. I was so pleased to see one finally open up in San Antonio. They arent too dense and are made to order every time. The donuts are made of a cake batter and are served warm, soft, and extremely tasty. Heres how to order:1. Select your coating (glaze, sugar, powder, icing, etc)2. Pick a topping (sprinkles, chocolate, coconut, BACON!!!!, peanuts, etc.)3. Choose a drizzle (hot fudge, salted caramel, raspberry, marshmallow, etc.)Best Donuts in my opinion! A very interesting name, for sure, but the doughnuts are excellent! It seems that they have an almost unlimited variety of toppings and flavors. No surprise that bacon is a fan favorite. You can order online for pickup too. No more stale, run-of-the-mill donuts when Duck is around.

I’m now a fan of Duck Donuts. We went to Duck Donuts on a Saturday morning and arrived a bit before 9:30. The owner greeted us while we were waiting in line and explained how to order your donuts, which was nice! We waiting around 20 - 30 minutes to order and pickup our donuts. After 9:30 the line definitely got worse. While you’re waiting you can watch them make the donuts which is pretty entertaining! There were several families with little ones who seemed especially fascinated. All their donuts start with the same cake donut base but they add toppings and glazes to specialize each donut. We got a big mix of them but I enjoyed all of them. For sure, get a donut with bacon on it! I was actually a bit skeptical about it but it turned out so good! I’m getting bacon donuts next time because I’ll definitely be going back!

If you want extraordinary Donuts, you must try Ducks Donuts. Unlike other shops, they make their donuts to order. The texture of the donuts are smooth like a cake and warm like it just came out of the oven. They also compliment their Donuts with drinks like Lattes. Definitely a must try in San Antonio.

Um, WOW. I have resisted trying Duck Donuts forever because of my loyalty to Snowflake. My local Snowflake closed down and I finally made a trip out here today. Holy. Cow. I have been missing out. These donuts are so delicious. Theyre made hot and fresh right in front of you. Literally the apple streusel donut is the best thing Ive ever tasted, ever.Duck Donuts is a little more expensive than other shops at $1 to $3 per individual or I paid $16 something and tax for a dozen but I promise you it is worth it! I dont even care, I never want any other donuts.Staff was super friendly, handing my large brood of little boys their own menus and hanging out patiently while we brawled for 10 minutes over what to order. There is a bit of a wait because thats what happens when something is made fresh for you and made to order. Again, it is worth it. We waited not even 10 minutes for a dozen.Anyway, go here. Get one of everything.

Very dissappointed😔. My friend recommended Ducks. She sent us her pictures of the donuts she bought. I was delighted and eager to try the blueberry and strawberry by way they looked in her picture. Well, we went today and did see they were freshly dipped. I couldnt wait home to try them. When I got home and opened the box, my smile turned into a frown. My blueberry and strawberry donuts did not, I mean, do not look like my friends. They look cheap..like if the diluted the toppings. I dont mind paying a dollar and cents each if they looked like my friends. Not worth the 20 min drive. Will not go there anymore. I will learn how to bake them at home. See the difference on pics.

Interesting treat. Prices are reasonable and the warm donuts are customized to your order. I like that you can pick your glaze, topping and drizzle but these are very dense donuts. Very filling. There was only one table for dine in which seems odd since you are getting fresh and still warm donuts. We wanted to sit down and enjoy some with our coffee. There are 2 benches and 3 chairs to sit on while you wait for your order. There will be a wait. They have coffee and tea available plus some beverages in a refrigerated case but no ice unless it is in the back. There is only one flavor of donut, vanilla. It’s all about the toppings.

I was initially a little disappointed when I realized they dont offer filled doughnuts, but when I got my 6 fresh, made-to-order donuts in less than 5 minutes and ate all of them in my car in the parking lot while they were still warm, I was more than happy to ignore the filled donuts. These were melt-in-your mouth pure goodness. Highly recommend.

My favorite donut place chain that Ive eaten at so far in San Antonio. Every donut has a cake type consistency. You can pick your glaze and toppings, drizzle etc.. or instead of customizing one can order suggested assortments for a dozen.Very reasonably priced. Kind of cramped indoors, more of a takeout type of place. Service so far has been great and they get you in and out quickly. So far everyone whos tried this place that I know is addicted.Most people swear by the bacon and maple donut, I prefer their Oreo Options.

I was excited when I heard Duck Donut opened in San Antonio. I had them before in Washington DC, and loved them. On my next trip to San Antonio I made sure to stop by and get a donut. They are delish.The place was super clean (it is new, so I expected nothing less) and the staff was knowledgeable about the items. They are slightly priced than a regular donut...but than again, they are not regular donuts.Yummm!

We only go to Duck Donuts when we want to treat ourselves. For 2 coffees and 1 dozen donuts the cost was over $23. So not an inexpensive treat. However, they are made to order, made right in house, and made exactly how you want each of them, and served up warm. Delicious!

I ordered the cinnamon roll, blueberry pancake, and oreo donuts! They were all good and the donuts were fresh, made to order, and warm! The icing was a little on the thicker side for me but still tasty! There are not any premade donuts to select from, you have to order what you want, so just know there might be a little bit of a wait.
