One of the best spots in SA for a good raspa and some corn in the cup. They have quite a few other ice cream options and food - like takis with nacho cheese and corn, yum!!This is like stationary ice cream truck and they are open late so give it a try some time :)

Love their shaved Ice! Corn on the cup is also very good! Very clean and family friendly. Prices have gone up a little bit but still worth the trip here and there.

Dont let that looks deceive you. This place has the BEST shaved ice I have ever had. I highly suggest the Mango flavor. This is a hole in the wall that consistently provides Exceptional shaved ice. Theres always a line here but well worth the wait. This is truly a diamond in the rough.

With this hot weather there is nothing like a shave ice in your favorite flavor!! I love the mango with Chaney and Lucas on top of it!! Clean place and the natural fruit is really juicy and fresh. Highly recommend it.

Grew up in the neighborhood and remember this place when it was the only location...prior to this spot it was the ice cream trucks they’d drive in the neighborhood that had the awesome limon ice. Now they have 2 locations to double up on serving the best in San Antonio! Thanks for being a neighborhood staple!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! I have been going here for about 4years now and I am truly in love with it! The ice cream here is Fantastic and delicious! So many menu items to choose from and lots of different popsicles for kids too!

Parking is a nuisance but the sweets are well made and just plain good. Its unique having Italian ice with Mexican flavors. Defintely recommend the Limon Loco, just the right amount of everything. Prices were low for what you get. Definitely worth going but just needs better parking!

I love this place! It’s delicious and cheap compared to other places I’ve been to (Fabitos, munchies, big daddies, etc). Their treats and snacks are to the point nothing but delicious. Come here with your family! You will enjoy the wide variety of flavors and snacks.The only thing I dislike about this location is the parking. It’s basically non-existent haha. First come first serve!

We love this place and dont mind the long drive from North San Antonio just to partake in the Mexican treats. They ways have two long lines because of the popularity of the establishment, and are busy from opening until close. You wont find easy parking here, but there is room on the side and back if the place if you can park in tight areas. Otherwise, youll just need to squeeze in between other cars. If you like Mangoñadas, you MUST give Las Nieves a try.

What is there to say. This place is absolutely amazing. Anything you get you will enjoy without a doubt.

Im from Laredo, so finding a place with really good snacks is difficult. Yes, the flavor of the elote is different because it has no mayo, cream and the cheese is not queso fresco or cotija but it is a good place for snacks.Theres a lot of options and great prices. I live North 281 and travel all the way here just for the snacks. It is worth it.

I always come to this location. Never had a problem with service. I went there today.. I was so upset the guy who is always at the window. Today completely ignored me took like 3 persons orders. Ahead of mine and I got there way before them. And to top it off they got my order all wrong. Only 1 item was right. When I ordered right at the window in person. I ordered a cheese cake milkshake. It only tasted like vanilla. Nothing like cheesecake. It was a waste of 3.50. And it was really runny. And this was when they fixed my order. They gave me a cookies and cream milkshake. Before i shouldve just stuck with the wrong order. My sons and daughters ice cream. They handed me the wrong icecream for my daughter. I didnt like how the guy at the window ignored me. And i always go here. Not anymore. I felt like if I spoke spanish. I could tell him in person. How it wasnt right. How he handled his customer service. Thats why I give it a 3. Because today they messed up my order. I felt like I wanted my money back. But there was a long line. Not to make a scene. I just left.

Las nieves is an interesting concept. Imagine an ice cream stand. Now imagine a fruit stand that sells fresh cut up fruit. And then imagine the elote man. And now put them all together in one convenient location. They have tons of selection of ice cream bars including ice cream sandwiches chocolate eclairs and Strawberry Shortcake Etc. They also sell fresh fruit cups that they will put the picoso powder on. They sell cups of strawberries covered with Crema. And they also have corn where they put mayonnaise and pickle so powder as well. They ask how much picoso you want on it and then just keep kind of pouring until you say when which is great because everyone has a specific taste. They accept cash as well as credit cards / debit cards. It is a great little cheap stop for a wide array of snacks catering to whatever particular craving you are experiencing.

I live and grew up in Los Angeles Heights, I am now an adult and a successful realtor. I have chosen to stay in the neighborhood because housing prices and taxes are inexpensive and like to live within my means and out of debt. The owner of Las Nieves used to have a green ice cream truck when I was young. He made the best snacks, better than all the other ice cream trucks that cruised the neighborhood and his prices were inexpensive. what can I say the guy is awesome and so are all his treats!!! Im moving to Dallas in the next 2 weeks and I dont know what Im going to do without my Elote. Dallas doesnt have fruiterias Ive looked. Oh Im going to miss this place.....

This is NOT a place to get authentic raspas! If you are thinking the kind of raspas with ice and flavored syrup, this is not it. Instead, we got a smoothie-like drink of blended ice and strawberry chunks. I can see that the fruit cups are really popular but the fact that they tout their snow cones AKA raspas as number one in San Antonio is very misleading. Very disappointed :(

So this review is going to start off sounding a little weird but bare with me! So I havent actually been here before but Im writing this review based on two rude employees. So I called two days ago because I wanted to inquire if they owned the mobile shack on 1604 and Marbach because the gentleman running that shack has a bad attitude and unsanitary! I needed some chamoy in the treat I got, and didnt not realize it till after I already took a bite. I went back and asked if I could please add this. And snapped at me and seemed like it was such a hassle to do this. He asked for my Mango Loco back, assuming he was just going to pump my chamoy in, but instead takes my spoon, and starts digging a hole into my treat and putting it back with the rest! I had already taken a bite of that! If he did it to mine, think who elses he may have done that to! So thats why I was trying to contact the owners to report this! So when I called this location to ask, the man that answered hung up on me right when I asked do you own the 1604 and marbach location? Its sad how two bad employees can ruin a reputation for someones company. I was willing to give this place a shot before the call regardless if they owned the other location or not, but now I think Ill just find an other place to do my business.
