Just called and was rudely informed that they dont carry John Deere. They have used deere mowers on their website, which I told the young lady on the phone... she just sat there expecting me to say more... I guess you have spoken... I wanted to use a small business to purchase my first zero turn(instead of the box stores) due to personable customer care and maintenance when required. Jeff was very helpful with info, selection and purchase the my Gravely mower. Newman went over the use and maintenance of the new mower and prepped it for the trip home which I really appreciated. They even let me borrow their trailer to get my mower home, no charge. In my last, I was prepared to leave my mower for weeks to find out, a $6 filter change today is all I need. They didnt take advantage of the situation and put customers first. Thanks, DeWinne. They fixed a problem on my riding mower that I have spent nearly$600 at 2 other shops trying to get fixed. The others lied and charged us a bunch for nothing, where as DeWinne listened to me (a woman) when I said a baffle was missing under the deck and they actually welded a new baffle on! Now it picks up leaves and grass wonderfully! So happy

I went to buy a push mower..!! JKAfter being educated by ernie on all the different types of riding lawnmower he guided me into the one I needed. 2021 ZT HD 48 GRAVELY... After he was generous enough to lend me his trailer to get my new mower to my house and never ever owning a zero turn it was the best decision Ive made this year in lawn purchases. I tried to remove my blades to have them sharpened by DeWinne-could not do it. I asked to bring the mower in and have the blades replaced. I was told no, it becomes a liability if they replace electric mower blades--I am 67 and found this unprofessional that a mower place cannot help me.

I highly recommend DeWinne Equipment. I am active duty USAF stationed at Randolph but am moving to Misawa Japan where it snows 140+ inches per year. DeWinne Equip help me acquire a snow blower from Ariens (strongly recommend Ariens too). Not only did they help me get the snow blower but they assembled and tested it. Once they were sure it worked, they drained the fluids and delivered to my home on base so it could be shipped to Japan. The entire time Ernie DeWinne and his team were professional, timely, and easy to work with. If you need any equipment I would strongly recommend this awesome team!

Had to pick up parts. Only had to wait less than 2 min as the cashier was busy doing an invoice but she greeted me immediately when I walked in & informed me shed be right with me. Had the grandchild with me so she helped carry my merchandise out to my vehicle. Great customer service.

I brought my battery operated lawn mower to get the blade sharpened. The gentleman there was very polite and attentive. I left my phone number and expected about a $10 fee. When I returned the next day after he called. This same clerk explained to me about the wrong service that had been done at another place that I used to take my mower for a blade sharpen. They were not wearing masks during the height of the pandemic so I decided to try DeWinne’s. So glad I did! They retapped my bolt and correctly attached my blade. He said that more use the way it was could have caused my blade to come loose! He said he was lucky to catch it in time and did not even charge me ! Won’t ever do business with any other lawn mower guys ! DeWinne’s is the very best. In every way!❤️

I had a defective electric starter from CraftsmanThe staff took great care, gave necessary documentation and craftsman replacedThen the replacement electric starter failed and again Craftsman made good. The incredible service desk help from this place made me want to come back with a weed eater trigger that sometimes sticks. I mentioned it to Jeff who said sure bring it by and we can take a look at trigger and get you going again. Superior service is their motto not gouging a customer. Will be back with lawn equipment issues as they really strive to provide excellent service.

Lost mower parts I showed the employee with the machine and called me later saying I never showed them said parts. After paying $100 plus and waiting 3 weeks after dropping mower off it is leaking gas out of filter and missing fuel line clamps which were there when dropped off.

Were a military family that recently moved to SA and we went over to DeWinne Equipment Co. today to have our craftsman lawn mower looked at because it would not start up. The owner was finishing up with a customer outside and greeted, then assisted us promptly. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and solved our problem less than a minute into examining the mower. Minutes later, he had also fixed the issue with the assistance of his employees. I would HIGHLY reccomend this business. Well be back if/when any more issues occur or maintenece is needed on our mower.

Had rider mower in two times for warranty work and I am very impressed with service from all of staff including the owner. Yesterday I picked up my mower and Neuman helped me load and connect trailer. Before loading Neuman took the time to power wash my mower and when I returned Neuman back my vehicle with trailer in parking space as I am a novice! All of staff is friendly and very customer service oriented. I would not go anywhere else

Other dealers are a joke compared to these guys. Its surprising, actually. I decided a long time ago to purchase a mower. Before I pulled the trigger, I visited numerous dealers and test drove many mowers. The service was always the same: Semi-attentive salesman, high prices, vague information.Just before I made my decision, I stopped by DeWinne Equipment. Ernie and Jeff both helped me. They gave me tons of information, honest opinions, and zero pressure. They acted as though they wanted me to find the perfect machine... regardless where I bought it or which one I chose. They let me come and go when it was convenient... drive whichever mowers I wanted.. and ask tons of questions.One day, I decided I wanted to try a specific model because it had the deck I wanted. Ernie told me they didnt have one in stock but they had a similar one in the crate... new. I said it wasnt a problem because it wasnt the exact model i was looking for anyway. I turned around and saw Ernie on a forklift, hauling a new crate to the shop. They removed the crate, assembled the new mower, filled it with gas, and drove it up for me to test drive. Ernie knew that it was NOT the unit I wanted to purchase but he assembled it anyway just so I could see the deck operate!It took a few weeks to narrow it down but I finally found the mower to fit the job. Ernie ordered it and had it built and ready within a few days. I was busy with work so he even offered that I use his trailer to haul the mower.Ernie and Jeff did even more than the things I typed here. Their service was incredible. I cant say enough about how great they took care of me... and insisted on finding the right machine for the job. Ill never shop anywhere else for lawn equipment. Other dealers were a waste of time. Thanks, Ernie and Jeff. I appreciate it!

My Gravely mower was up for 50 hour service. I called and asked what their turn around time is – I was first asked did you buy the unit from us? I told them I am not sure . . . then she proceeded to say it would be 3-5 weeks to get my 50 hour service? I called another Gravely dealer (down the road) and they got me in same day. This tells me they either have amazing service or simply backburner anyone that did not purchase their Gravely mower from them. I am not sure where my son picked up my Gravely . . I will call him and find out . . but I will probably still NOT go back to DeWinne with that kind of turn around time. If the unit was not in warranty, I would take to another shop, but Gravely requires I take it to a “authorized” dealer to ensure my warranty is intact. BTW, still love my ProTurn 460 . . been a great unit.

I recommend DeWinnes hands down. Shortly after being widowed, my Cub cadet tank had some serious mechanical issues due to faults caused by my lack of knowledge of equipment. After calling around I was reminded that many companies value profit over their customers. DeWinne sets a different standard. To start, their custoner service was friendly, knowledgeable, and accomadating. Instead of pushing the sale of new equipment, I was offered options for fixing the damage that was done to my mower. They are honest, not trying to take advantage of someone that isnt knowledgeable about equipment. They are fairly priced and trustworthy. Please help support this company that has set a higher standard for customer service. Thank you DeWinne, I am grateful for your care and staff.

Service was great but what really makes them stand out is that they are trustworthy I bought a used 36 walk behind mower I knew it needed some work but it broke down on my on the first lawn a gasket was leaking oil I immediately contacted the person who sold it to me he said bring it back I will fix it or give your money back at the moment I made a choice to get my money back which he did. If hes willing to do the right thing by returning my money back they are worth my business. I highly recommend buying new or used equipment they honor what they say they do whatever it takes to get you what you need.

Went to get a deck belt, they wanted $51.00, I said “why so much?” he says with attitude “belts are expensive”, Amazon had it for $18.00 with free shipping. Now I just have to wait three days. Unfriendly and way way overpriced. Just because you have been in business for like 200 years and you have more business than you can handle doesn’t mean you should be gouging us. I doubt they paid more than $15 and they want $51 from me. Should be criminal.

Took a while for my stuff to come in, but once it did I was impressed. I expected to be handed a box and be on my way. What I got was a fueled, up, ready to go trimmer, no boxes to throw away and a couple minute demonstration that was extremely useful. Ill be honest that the clutter is a bit off putting, but the friendly faces and convenient location will bring me back.

DeWinne Equipment Co.Brought in my 5 yer old Craftsman lawnmower for repair on Thursday. They said 2-3 weeks turn around (then said probably would get back sooner than later). I got a call a week and a half later - had some water in gas. They emptied gas tank, carb blow out, replaced air filter and filled up gas tank. $69.99. Works now.

I am a novice college student with no engine knowledge. Mower stopped in middle of the job. Took it in expecting the worst. Took it in with no appointment. Took a 7 yr old push mower to them, I ran old bad gas thru it, wouldnt stay running. 10 day backlog, very busy I was told. Cost about 50 bucks. Sharpened blade, changed oil and spark plug, cleaned carb. Decent. Fast forward a year, mowers acting funny. Not sure if carb was cleaned right, have to high idle it for 5 mins before mowing or it dies. Maybe its just at its limits on age. Since repair ive been putting stabile in gas as recommended, and only buying 3 months of gas at a time only (3/4 gallon).
