Cant say enough about Momars professional rental gear and a stellar sound engineer to the venue in San Antonio. Were a NY band that needed backline gear, sound system and keyboards for a private dancing event and boy, did Momar deliver!! We felt confident with the quality and sound that Momars gear provided. So here is the straight talk for MOMAR MUSIC. This place has been a musicians paradise for many years in San Antonio. The prices, the service and the knowledge have really set them apart but lately I have personally seen some entitled clients walking in and demanding attention. This is still a small business and is a musical jewel and sadly some rude clients are ruining it for may musicians who love this place. Mike you are awesome and want the best for you and your family and for the rest of us who love this place, let’s start protecting this place from crazies who are selfish. And for the young guy who just left the store without paying for getting your bass fixed, you’re probably going to get banned from MOMAR!

Where is the 100 stars button! This is the music store that Ive been waiting for my adult life on the Northside of SA. The owners Mike and Mildred are wonderfully knowledgeable and very nice. I love so many music stores in San Antonio, and New Orleans, Houston, LA, upstate NY, Ireland and well I love music stores. I love Mom and Pop local ones, dont like the corporate boxes. Mike is so cool. He gives so much to help musicians reach the next level, ie, lights, all kinds of equipment, you name, Momar Music is there for you.

Mike is the most honest and humble guy you will ever meet. He is not only so educated in music but is so forward to get to know you and the value of music to you. I once went in search of a tuning peg as mine broke and he didn’t have any in stock so he screwed off a peg of a guitar he was selling and put it on mine! Straight up just took it off and gave it to me free of charge, this guy is amazing and one of the best people you’ll meet.

Went in to get an amp repair and ended up getting a crash course in how my amp works, a soldering lesson, a cleaned up amp and new feet! On top of that he didnt even charge me for the repair since he said it was a quick fix. Mike is really a pleasure to talk to and gave the kind of customer service you could never expect to get at a big box music store. Pricing is more than fair on everything in the shop and the conversation and good vibes are priceless do yourself a favor shop at Momar.

Fixed my P.A. while I waited refunded my money for the service call on it ended up getting 2 35 foot speaker cables for p.a., also wireless guitar system,. Very happy and excellent prices,also liked back and listened to jams on their pa, and Mike jamming on guitar, great time, will be giving them more business.

Mike did all he could to get my amp back in working order but it was beyond reasonable financial repair. Would recommend him to everyone in need or repairs.

Nowhere will you find better deals or more genuine support for you and your music. You can be sure your repairs are done right, and Only whats broken will get fixed, as they will diagnose it right there in front of you. The selection of peavey equipment is fantastic. Peavey is no longer the cheap, low end brand, its top notch, excellent stuff. Ive got the peavey les paul style guitar, cirrus bass, a tube amp, and a practice amp, and Im pleased with every one. Ive also got lots of accessories, pedals, cables etc. They have REALLY helped me on several shows i ran sound for with both lights and speakers, and help and advice. highly recommend both the equipment and the store. For the people... Yes i think they have more than lived up to that motto over the 4 years since i first went there. Five stars all the way. Thanks Mike.
