My wife and I were taking our 2 children on a ride while visiting for the week in San Clemente, when one of our bike chains decided it didnt like towing a bike trailer and snapped. Luckily we were in walking distance of this bike shop and made our way there. We told them our situation and asked if they had a chain and they said they didnt have the right size and wed have to buy two chains at $35 each to make one chain that was long enough. We thought that was too expensive so we started walking back to our time share. One of the employees caught up to us about 100 yards out and said they found a chain that would fit for $37, still pricey but sure, why not if we can keep on our ride. So we buy the chain and the guy just turned around like we werent even there. I take it out, measure it up to the old chain and realize its not the right size and this one is too long and Im going to need a basic chain tool to put it on. I brought it in and told him so he popped the pin to make it match in length, but now I need a pair of pliers to snap the master ring and be done. Nope, its gotten too involved and they want to charge me for a chain install at $55.I get it, theyre just trying to run a business and make some money. But when I get home and find that the exact same chain they sold me for $40 is available everywhere else for $9.99 and the tool I need to install it is also only $10... I feel a bit ripped off. Not the best way to treat people, I dont recommend this store based on my experience with them.

These guys are super helpful and very knowledgeable! They do a great job on repairs and are very honest.Hard honest workers.

Just picked my bike up today, got a full brake tune up which I needed so badly, Mathew is the best! He shows pride in his work and gives the best customer service.... not only did he do any amazing job on my breaks he even took the time to tighten everything up and lube components and wipe her down a bit .... bike honestly rides better than it did when it was new! 100% recommend taking your bike here for any of its needs .... honest hard working people!

This shop is by far the best in town. HANDS DOWN!! These guys know everything there is to know about ebikes. I bought a brand new, out of the box SUPER73 S2 and the breaks squeaked so loud the first time I rode it... it was embarrassing!! I took it to SUPER73 and they told me it would be 2 weeks until they could diagnose the issue with my breaks......how frustrating!!!! New bike... squid breaks...what is a girl to do!?!?!! I called Matthew and Richard at Trestles Ebikes and I had my bike fixed and back to me within a few days. They also took the time to educate me on things with my bike, which I really appreciated. I was so stoked with my experience!! I’ve had my bike now for a few months and the breaks are still quiet!! Thank you guys!! You are now my go-to bike place!! Go see them!! You won’t regret it!!

I called about an issue I had with an ebike I had bought, and they diagnosed it really fast, had it back to me the next day. No issues with the bike anymore. Its good to know there is a bike mechanic, to take our e bikes to, since we have three, and its such fast turnaround. I definitely recommend taking your bike here, thanks for your help!

Horrible service, it took 3 days to repair a flat and when I went in the guys smelt of alcohol. I dont recommend this shop
