This store is looking junkier, if thats a word, every time I go in there. If youre looking for a gadget, great. If youre looking for anything else...forget it. Some unknown brand seems to be taking over. Gone are Wamsutta products only to be replaced by cheap products. Really sad...used to be one of my favorite stores. With all that said its even dirty looking. No organization, plastic bags to cover up shelves of products no longer there. They should just close the doors!!!

Everything was excellent with this store until the end, the cashier was on training ( all good with that, she couldnt get my email right, took a couple of times but I was patient with that ) I press the wrong button to confirm and the TRAINER was so rude saying sometimes its so hard to press the right button ...what? And she didnt get my email again and print the receipt...how RUDE is that ? And she is the trainer!!! Hope the new girl dont learn that type of comments ...

So had I can add photos to reviews. I had a 20 percent off coupon, and I tore it along the dotted lines as you will see in the pic, and they wouldn’t accept it because it didn’t have a bar code. Really disappointing.

Nice two story store that is easy to shop. Amazing service! We needed something from the back that was in stock, but not on the floor. Someone went and got it for us, and our cashier at the service desk was just SO friendly and wonderfully genuine! Thank you!

Wow, this place looks like it is headed out of business as it 25% stocked from its glory days. Great customer service upstairs from the friendly lady who helped me find a shower liner and shower rod.

Seriously, how are they still in business? The people who work there are great but the way they make you stand in that one LONG line for sometimes over 30 minutes for checkout! They need better checkout or self checkout. Its disrespectful to customers. There selection also could be better. Who pays over $200 for a toaster, and why do all the pots and pans have that cancer causing non-stick coating? 2 stars because the employees are great.

I thought the name was sort of a joke but they really do go far Beyond beds and baths and I found things I thought Id have to go to 3 different stores for and am not only satistfied, but also happy, which is unusual.....

So sad what the pandemic has done to a lot of Business including this. I used to go here many times in a week just to find a lot of things that are available out there to make things easier for us in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom ...and beyond.....Now I went there and store was almost bare.....than usual...

Great job and customer service was handled excellently! I bought an item online for a store pickup. Received and email shortly after placing my order letting me know they were out of stock at that store. After calling the store they let me know they should be getting a shipment in in a few days. I called today, they had the product and put the item to the side for me, I had to pay again but pricing was now higher, they honored the original price I showed them from my original paperwork and I was on my way. Thank you for your courtesy.

Expensive, over priced selections without a lot of variety to choose from. This place used to be so much better and a lot more fun.

Best store location in SD city area... two levels of great prices and excellent discount. This location will soon be doing renovations so clearance sales are currently ongoing. Remember to be frugal, get what you need and be nice to the cashiers on your way out. Its been a tough time for everyone, be kind!

Best Bed bath and Beyond store in San Diego area... this is the biggest location, with two levels of products at great prices and year around discounts. They are going to renovate soon so lot of products are on clearance. Check it out, and be nice to the retail associates and people helping you out

1st and far mostit it is close by, It is definitely an attractive destination if you own a CALI KING BED set which is something you couldnt find everywhere in San Diego most furniture stores, if youre honestly looking for multiple designs and choices this is the right place for you..I would recommend it for temporary design seekers to embellish their place.My only negative review is there is no guidance thats the only issue ****

Ordered 3 products from BB&B through the afterpay app and was slightly disappointed by the quality of the speaker but the Power bank is really awesome and I ordered a 12 pack of razors which work great!

A few nights ago I went to the store in search of a set of bed sheets, unfortunately they didnt have in stock the ones that I wanted, but Braelyn, who was AMAZING, helped me order them through their online system. I highly recommend the store, and if you need help ask for Braelyn, you will have a great shopping experience!

Onestly Its not my store to buy things there are so expensive when I can get better prices on different places like Costco sams club or Walmart

Employees were great and helpful. The store itself was disorganized and some spots were pretty dirty and stuff just kind of set wherever. The selection was minimal at best in some sections, could be Covid related and the supply chain is slowed down but it definitely was not worth the time.

They sell a great seat pad there. Im a bus driver I drive for 8 hours a day and this gel pad is awesome. I bought two there. Unfortunately I lost the first one. And they cost $80 each. But I came back because its an awesome product

One of my favorite stores that has a great selection for pretty much anything you need for your home from utensils to bedsheets to beers and wines and all the electric gadgets you need for cooking.

The website wasnt very helpful, even though we set the checkbox for in-store items, each hit we had would later tell us it was unavailable. We called the store and Taylor was extremely helpful, checking the inventory and making recommendations so we could get a hospital bed set up tonight.

Love this place but it’s looking more and more like that store is going out of business. Not nearly as much clutter.

It is more fun than stores like Macys due to variety. However, nothing we looked for was in stock so we ended up ordering online from their website. At least we got to see certain items in person which is hard to do online. Also, Beyond+ membership can save you 20% which only costs $29/yr. If you are buying items totalling to $150 it pays for itself (some brands are excluded). This way you dont have to hunt for their 20% coupons everytime you are about to shop here.

I couldn’t have gotten a gift card to a worse place! I finally found what I wanted, at least for what was in my budget, a Keurig K Cup Coffee Maker, and saw that it said “Out of Stock” online. So I call this store and speak to Desiree, and asked her when it will be in stock. She tells me that there are 3 in stock and orders one for me. I was so relieved and excited! So days pass and on my BBB account it still says “Order processing”, so I contact customer service and they tell me that it was not and is not in stock and that they will send me one when it is in stock. I called the store and spoke to someone else to find out why I was told there were 3 when there weren’t any, and a different lady told me that Desiree should have never told me that because they haven’t been in stock I’m some time. More time goes by and I keep co ta ring customer service to see what’s going on, and they keep giving me the run around, saying it will be shipped when in stock. Days later they cancelled my order to my surprise. I told customer service I never wanted my order cancelled and that I wanted to wait, but they pretty much said too bad. They said they would issue a refund. Instead of refunding my current gift card, which would be much faster, they are mailing one out to me, which will take who knows how long!!!! I have waited enough with false hope given to me by an employee. No one was even willing to make this right! Like give me a different Keurig for the same price or something for all of this trouble!!!

I spent time in this store today, loaded up my cart, stood in line for 20 minutes, then gave up. I have a disability and simply cannot stand in long lines without pain. I left my full cart right there. Maybe theyll get the message that they need more than 3 registers open. Theyve lost my business.

Staff is not friendly here.One can understand why their stock is so paltry and this company is shuttering stores. This site has lost another customer. Its obvious Im not the only one who is not frequenting this Mission Valley BB&B with the unprofessionals they have gathered to run this store into the dirt.Although a further drive, at least the Santee store employees are doing what they can to keep their jobs and fend off bankruptcy.

The store is typical of the chain, though this one is two stories. It has good stock of items during the pandemic, which is a huge plus. The employees leave something to be desired and parking, despite being ample amounts, always feels like parking on Black Friday.

Customer service terrible. One of those places you question why you even give them a dime. Waited in line and accidentally ended up at returns terminal. Was told I could not purchase anything there, which I know is a lie. Theres a scanner, terminal, card reader. Told to go wait all over again in another line. I know these jobs are for people with no skills, but they should at least have some empathy and care for customers, their time and impression of the store. My last time setting foot in here. Unfortunate.

I called in advanced. Explained my situation in detail regarding a vacuum I purchased from them and how it’s no longer working and when I purchased it. The person on the phone walked me through what I’d need to bring, which I brought with me and she told me to bring it to the store for a refund or exchange. Fast forward the next day I lug the vacuum to the store wait in an obnoxious return line with only one store employee doing her best and then 30 mins later the manager Elizabeth comes to tell me that it’s no longer the store’s responsibility and I should contact vacuum manufacturer. Thanks for helping me with nothing. If you’re buying any kind of electronic, vacuum or high price item period. Don’t come here go to Costco and never worry about what I had to deal with.

It was super empty, but I guess it’s because they’re transitioning from the holiday merchandise to “back to school” merchandise. We had some trouble finding what we wanted, and some things weren’t marked with prices, but the lady at the checkout was AMAZING and so kind and patient with us and our coupons!

I wasnt in store very long, ran in and discovered that they ran out of what I needed in personal hygiene area and left. Pleased with the Covid-19 protections they had in place.

Not only that the cashier offered a membership plan for $30/year that saves you 20% on all purchases. She even applied it to my $400 purchase saving me $80 immediately. What great customer service.

It didnt seem like shopper numbers were limited, but there were few people in the store. Personnel were helpful even though the store didnt have the item I wanted.

I’d give zero stars if possible. I ordered something of their website almost 2 months ago. I returned it because it was damaged. They sent me another one which I didn’t want. I called and cancelled it. But still received it. Sent it back within a day. That was over a month ago. And I’m still waiting for my refund. Over a month and nothing. They keep on sayin bare with us. Just wait. I’ve been waiting! That’s all I can do. Some emailed me saying with 3 days you will get your refund. Tomorrow that will be one week. This company has 350 dollars of mine. And won’t refund it. It’s pretty terrible to put their customers in this kind of predicament. Especially during a pandemic. Horrible customer service. And their warehouse who does processing isn’t doing much better! Terrible job!

It was great! The store was well stocked and staffed. There were spacing reminders and places marked off for everyone. At 1 time there was a long line for checkout, but they corrected that, very quickly!! Great experience.

VERY SLOW, SLOW, SLOW CHECK OUT!!!Only two employees at check out and one of them was at the Returns counter. The other person left a customer at her counter for what seemed like a stroll and then stopped to talk to the other person at the Return counter.I think the only reason we were eventually helped by the person at the Return counter was because because my wife waved her arms and told her we were still waiting.The other person was still waiting to finish her check out when we were leaving.

Unfortunately did not find what we were looking for during this visit. Signage said lights on second floor but none to be found.

Michelle was very helpful as we searched for a couple very specific things for a tiny space. She made good suggestions and offered to order some things special for us. When we declined, she wasnt pushy.

I usually find what I want here but Im disappointed 9n so many cheap items of low quality that have been added to their selection.

Items here look sporadically stocked. Also, items arent marked with a price, so if theyre in the wrong place, you can end up with sticker shock. The one way in, one way out was also problematic for a store this size, but was most likely done because the store is understaffed. Honestly, it looks like its about to close.

I havent been to a BBB like this in a LONG time! You can shop for prepackaged groceries, fancy conditioner, and pick out pretty curtain rods all in one stop. There was also an unexpected assortment of alcoholic beverages. Staff was very friendly and helpful, too. Ill definitely be back!

I’ve never had people be so rude inside of 5 minutes of entering a Bed Bath & Beyond.I walked in to exchange soda stream canisters and asked at the entrance where to go. I was kindly instructed to speak with customer service. I took three more steps Inside and from 20ft away the person at customer service hollered, “No SodaStream”. I was confused if she meant that the store no longer did refills or that I was headed towards the wrong location of the store. So I said to her that I had been instructed to visit customer service for refills. She said again, “No SodaStream, I’ll have to come back another time.”After some back and forth on when they would be able to help again, I asked if they knew of any other locations nearby which did refills. She said there were none, in an exasperated tone. I tried to clarify on whether there were other retailers which also performed refills and her responses were argumentative and critical.Don’t go here unless you want to wait in long lines only to deal with exasperated workers with no sense of urgency or customer service.

Store looks like its going to close any day. Theyre not a lot of people working there and much of the shelves are empty.

Big shoutout to Kimp in the night crew for being a huge help and putting a smile on our faces! The night my fiancée and I came in, I had been at work since 6 in the morning and the soonest we could make it in was half an hour before closing. Despite our late entrance, Kimp was as friendly and helpful as anyone could have hoped. Management, you gotta promote this guy! Hes the reason well be coming back

The store was full of college students and their parents purchasing items for their kids going to college dorms. It was fun to watch. I may be 64 years young but it brought back fond memories. My husband and I were still able to find, with the help of the knowledgeable staff, the items we needed and checkout was less than 10 minutes. I love this store!!

Lots of parking, large store, lots of stock, you will find stuff here that you wont find anywhere else including those as seen on TV items. Worth the visit !

Hadnt been in a BBB for quite a while. I must tell you, every person that worked there was kind and helpful and friendly and professional. The young lady I checked out with was as sweet as could be. She took all my coupons, worked her magic, and I got a whole $27 off. That was amazing. Very nice experience at the store.

This is a temporal based review - went there on 7/1/2020 and they were CLEANED out. Like nothing on the shelves. Its an ok store but at the time we couldnt find a single set of drapes that were not 84. All in all, not bad but we just couldnt find anything we were looking for.

Terrible customer service. The supervisor is the WORST!! Store really picked over, definitely will NEVER be going back. Don’t buy from here you’ll regret it.

BBB used to be the place that you go to find and get what you need/want. Now it has become we have that on line, but it can be delivered here for free, said in a cheerful voiceThats not the reason I go to a brick and mortar store. I can save the time and inconvenience just by jumping online with shipping to my front door the next day (sometimes the same day) for free elsewhere.Its a shame they have changed so much. It seems like the company is more interested in acquiring as many other stores as possible, place them under their roof than making sure they have some of all their stock available as in the past.
