I did the research and checked the reviews for about 10 places near me. Aero had the best and they did not disappoint!!!! I’ve had my car for almost 9 years and I had a flat tire. I knew she needed more work then that. They did. A full comprehensive check of the entire vehicle. That resulted in not only pertained explanations of what needed to be done, also how they would complete it, paired with Pictures!!! My car was finished same day along with a future understanding of how to tackle each issue. I am more than satisfied and would highly recommend Aero Auto Repair!!😊😊😊

I was given an appointment and sent an estimate for the oil change and diagnostic on my AC to sign off on. The AC issue was related to an air filter that needed replacing. I was quoted a price, received an updated invoice to sign off on and my car was ready at the time they promised. These folks are very helpful, professional and the pricing is fair. I highly recommend this business.

I usually get my car serviced at my dealership but when my power steering went out, I couldn’t get an appointment for 2 days. I found Aero Auto and decided to try them out. I was able to drop my car off same day. The team was super nice and took the time to explain the work needed on my car. Very easy and pain free experience. I would recommend them.

They’re located in a business district and open early. They have a great looking office building and good customer service.Came here for a trunk latch replacement and oil change. They had to perform a $85 inspection just to diagnose the problem, which I was fine on doing. After the inspection they informed me on a slew of recommended items. The main item to replace a trunk latch and cable assembly was billed at roughly $500. The inspection plus the amount to repair my trunk issue would of been about $585! I declined and ordered the part for about $40 with labor being 10 mins.I would not recommend this place as they will up charge you on what you need repaired and recommend plenty of services that you would not need.

I felt that once youve informed them that you cannot afford a $900 brake job that they (or at least Chase) starts talking condescendingly or becomes short with you. Suddenly I felt as though I was wasting his time asking questions. The final negative tone came when I asked for the cost breakdown and was told it was stapled to my receipt. That being said with a tone of annoyance is unacceptable. I was reading the technicians notes when he said something and stapled something to the receipt.The waiting area is very nice, very modern, up to date with every phone cord imaginable to charge your phone, reclining seats, etc.Upon walking in I waited approx 5-10 minutes for someone to come in and help me. A full time person in the front would be very beneficial to them.Upon receipt of my car my tires were not wiped down from the grease and grime from the technician. Now mind you, I live in the desert - the car isnt in the best shape and is dusty. But not grease and dust. It makes me believe that they felt less of a duty to care for the things they touched since my car was already an issue.My door pocket had been gone through. They may state it was to find a lug nut, however, had they kept ransacking my car they would have found it in the center arm rest.When I originally called them to discuss my brake issue, not once on the phone did Chase inform me there was a cost to inspect. I would have gone somewhere else. I paid it, so I did accept the cost, but let people know so they can make a choice before arriving.Lastly, while waiting I learned they offer AAA discounts. I noted having AAA. Original estimate was over $900. What you see is the updated estimate with AAA included.*Im glad others have had such great experiences here. I did not and will not sugarcoat my experience, nor will I be rude about it either.~CM

They over charge and claim to be women friendly but they didn’t even fix problems and made a bunch of other issues. This is ridiculous.

The online tool they use to shows your inspection progress and you can decide on what maintenance items you would like to proceed with and pay for. It made the experience really transparent and easy. The staff I interacted with was so professional and nice. 10/10!

AAR truly put my concerns at ease with their accurate finding and diagnosis backed with pictures as proof. They definitely offered a fair price in comparison to major dealership/repairs shops (Which was my main concern and found AAR). I thought this place seemed honest and really helpful when I originally came in for a smog test. Later I dropped off my car for repairs as well as an AC fix, tire rotation, and oil change for a full work day. Came back at the end of the day and all they had done was an inspection ($70). Apparently the entire conversation I had with the woman at the front (Tessa, who was really helpful) was pointless. She even put the AC fix, rotation, and oil change in her notes but nobody else looked at them the entire day they had my car. I’m not going back there.

Only place in town that will work on my old jeep. They are super nice, and I love how they are Star Smog certified.

Over charged. Took advantage of me. If they didn’t know how to fix my car they should have told me no. Super unprofessional and its very unfortunate i have to leave a review. No one should get treated this way. My car was not okay to drive and i had to get it towed the next day from a local grocery store.. couldn’t even make it home. I felt unsafe and the fact they let me leave like that is scary. Please don’t reach out to me for “fixing” anything. I will be glad taking it somewhere else, I 100% do not trust this place.

Made an appointment the week before because my car would not pass smog. They told me they had a technician who knew older cars. So took the car in on Tuesday morning. Thursday they said car was running fine. They would smog it that afternoon. Friday morning called to see when I could pick it up. Now they said they had three cars ahead of me. Really? They had the car since Tuesday morning. Heard nothing more. Finally had had enough. Late Friday afternoon Went to get the car. Now they say it didn’t pass smog. Excuse me, I knew that when I gave them the car on Tuesday morning. They insisted that I pay them $469. So long story short, they had the car for almost 4 days and all they really did was smog test it and charged me $469 essentially for a smog test.

Had repeat issue with extension housing and yoke displaced. They backed up their work on warranty but last time each time Ive been here repairs take an extremely long time. This last time I showed up to pick up my vehicle that was having work done that I thought was totally under warranty, I was surprised to learn that I had to pay nearly $800 additional for parts and such that I did not approve or even know about. Im glad it is fixed but didnt appreciate the unpleasant surprise. Staff is very friendly and appear knowledgeable and explain items in detail.

Front staff was very welcoming and courteous. I also had a vehicle inspection done. They were honest and provided me good information without trying to sell anything. That authenticity is much appreciated!

Outstanding service, by the book, they pulled up the CARFAX to verify former repairs...and Im NOT going back to OCHOAS in Lemon Grove. How am I missing a transmission dipstick? How? I was in the search for a new mechanic and a friend of mine referred me to Aero. She was very pleased with the services she had gotten from them and I trusted her good judgement. She was not lying when she said they had great customer service, I walked in w/o an appointment and at first glance the office is very clean and tidy.I was greeted as soon as I walked in and one of the handsome gentlemen sat me down and asked me what was going on with my vehicle.They had some time that day to take my car -so they got me registered and communicated with me what the initial inspection would entail plus the pricing. I agreed to the services and they even provided me with a ride back to my home which was a nice added perk.Even the gentleman, Issac, who drove me home was very personable and respectful. I felt very safe. They had my car inspected and the issue resolved in a day, it was quick and painless and that’s how I like to do business. I will surely be back in the future.

Beyond happy with the customer service and care around my car. I got a thorough check and it was very prompt and detailed. I truly left feeling like my car was really looked over and not just a quick oil change and out the door like other car care places. Will be returning

I’ve been going to aero for over a year and a half. They usually do very good, fair and honest work. Their staff is always super friendly. But I recently took my truck in for A/C issues. I usually do all the work on my truck myself, but due to an upcoming deployment I have little free time to do work on my truck. When they gave me an estimate, they wanted to charge me 3.5 times what Napa, advanced, Oreilly, or any other parts store would charge for the replacement condenser. They also wanted to charge me 1100 dollars for the labor (it’s like a 4 hour job). On the estimate, they also suggested I change almost ever fluid in every other system in the car. The total of the bill would’ve been over 3 grand. It just seems like they were trying to pull the wool over my eyes and I’m disappointed because I trusted them and now I’m considering going elsewhere.

Aero Auto Repair (originally Z-Whiz) has been taking care of my 1992 300ZX for 26 years. They have kept it in excellent condition. Im grateful for that. I will not take it anywhere else.

All staff appear trained to elicit underlying customer need .. will try to use re-conditioned parts to replace broken ones for speed of delivery, but not averse to taking the time to do the work if costs are too great for customer. Have taken two older cars to them so far - no regrets.

Honest, responsive auto shop. Took my truck here for repairs and they worked with my extended warranty company to install the parts needed. It ended up taking a few days as my warranty company wanted to verify everything with their own inspection, but aero auto kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and made it relatively easy.

I was able to walk in and quickly be assisted with very friendly staff! I needed a oil change and fluid top up and someone able to fit me in the next day. After looking up nearby shops and there are plenty, and after reading some reviews I just had to go for it and was happy I did!They had my vehicle done before my requested time and being a walk in I was very happy and will be using them for any other vehicle repairs my optima will need!

My daughter had her jeep towed to this establishment blowing (white smoke) out the back. Im not sure if it was because she is a young girl or the out of state plates had anything to do with this but she was told she had a bad head gasket and she needed a new engine to the tune of $8000. Fortunately she had it towed from there to another place and it wasnt the head gasket turned out to be the radiator, so a new radiator thermostat and cap and she was back on the road. You really should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!

Very happy with my experience. I walked in with no appointment for a smog check and they handled it immediately. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes! Very convenient and friendly!

I scheduled a pre-purchase inspection with Nick, and told him before the owner showed up with the vehicle that the owner was using high-pressure tactics and that I was nervous about it. When the car arrived Nick immediately checked the computer to see if any codes had been wiped, and checked the odometer reading. Sure enough, the odometer had been messed with and the car had over 230,000 miles on it, not 130,000! Nick was so kind and didn’t charge me for the service as it was pretty quick. He really saved me from buying a *very* old used car!!! I can’t thank him enough. Would give this place and Nick more than 5 stars if I could!

They did amazing work. Initially just needed an alignment. Ended up needed to replace a front right hub and ball bearing housing group. Anytime I go to a corporate business I’m always skeptical that they’re just trying to get my funds. (That’s why I always go local like these guys Aero auto Repair) These guys literally showed me the busted part from my vehicle to make me feel warm inside. I do all my own car work so I’m pretty critical of mechanics when I have to take it in, and I have to say after 7 years in San Diego, this is probably the best work I’ve ever had done!

Best Shop Ive ever used, its a family owned shop so you are taken care of like family. I had a broken bolt, then I broke an easy out in the bolt. They were able to fix my compounding mistakes. I will recommend them to everyone!

However the customer service doesn’t makeup for breaking other parts of the car that weren’t broken when I dropped it off. Better yet, I’m then required to pay for something they broke. What is this trickery??? When I brought this up I was told well it was going to break anyway...but we won’t charge you labor.Way to expensive, Just a car diagnostic costed me 140 dollars!There’s many other car shops that are cheaper, just as good, and have integrity, so go there!

Replaced a fuel pump assembly on my 2005 Nissan Sentra with 408,000 miles!I guess I got the most out of the original fuel pump. They were very professional and timely. I was not thrilled with the $630 cost. Its worth it if can get another 400k miles. Good job Aero Auto Repair.

This is a great shop. I needed an oil change and smog and took my car here and am amazed they were able to get the car to pass. They also did a full inspection and noticed a few things that needed attention but could wait a few months. I was very grateful they didnt try to upsell me or give me the run around. I am on a budget and they took that into consideration and made sure my car is road ready and safe. I really appreciate you guys. I will definitely be a regular customer from now on.... With the current health and employment situation on hand no one has extra time and especially extra money to waste! My husband and myself took my car in with a charging system problem. After my car was diagnose, fixed and I paid $250 dollars. The Original problem arise again 5 minutes later while I was driving back home. When I went back to them the car needed to be diagnose again and they mention that I needed to pay $650 dollars more for a different repair. When I mention that I wasted time and money for the first recommend repair that did not fix the Original problem. They mention that the best they could do is give me a Whopping $25 dollar discount for the next recommended repair. They showed No responsibility at all for my car being Misdiagnose the first time! What lack of quality, value and professionalism! Side note: I paid $330 dollars for the same job Aero Auto Repair was charging me $650. Dont let them Rip You Off!

I love my Nissan Frontier Truck ( 01 ) but from the day I Purchased it New from Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa it’s always had a engine oil leak around the main oil seal. Mossy Nissan could never find the leak, someone painted a yellow mark on between the transmission and the oil pan but still no repairs were offered to repair my brand new Nissan Frontier. Fast forward a 100 k miles and now I have a fu*** mess on my hand. In addition the valve cover gaskets no longer seal any more, now hot engine oil is draining on my exhaust manifold and starting to think about a potential engine compartment fire 🔥. Ok so long story short so two between Mossy Nissan and Advantec auto repair on Adams Ave, I not only lost money but I don’t want to buy another Nissan Truck. And so I thank Aero Auto Repair for fixing the whole fuc*** problem for a UCSD front line worker who was down for the count. You rock 🥊
