Japanese Autocare has saved our bacon twice now. Tony was very responsive throughout the process Most recently, we had significant suspension issues, and my son was on a very tight budget and timeline. They were able to find a solution to meet both. It was critical that we had the car completed on a certain day, and they went above and beyond to make it happen. I am extremely grateful to them and their hard work.

We were immediately greeted and had our car inspected as soon as we got there, being hundreds of miles from home they were able to have us back on the road in time to even finish the rest of the arronds we had planned. Was sincere and to the best of their abilities got done what they needed to do! Definitely would trust them with my vehicle and be a return customer.

They do their job, charge you reasonably and are honest. They repaired my Honda CRVs A/C about two months ago and I waited for two months to post this to make sure it still works perfectly after driving about 4000 miles across the US. They are very friendly and explained the charges for me clearly before doing anything. For the type of repair they did, their price was a lot better than many others with such a high quality. I definitely recommend them. Let the good repair shops stand out and shine. They even gave me a ride to my work when I left the car in the morning!

We drove from Mesa, AZ to attend a 4 day weddilng celebration for our granddaughter when our Honda Pilot suddenly need emergency repairs. Toni and Haven were so great as they located the needed parts and got us to the wedding dinner on time. These two repair pros. are the best and saved the day for our family. J.A.C. really understands Customer Service. Sam and his team are genuine professionals who treat you and your vehicle as if you were family; each time I take my vehicle in for service, it not only receives the proper service, but a complete safety check and road check are performed. Prior to any serious/costly work, Sam discusses the options with me. If while performing the authorized work additional problems are discovered, Sam calls me to explain further options and related costs, so that I can decide to proceed or not. Any time parts are replaced on my Subaru, they will be laid out for my edification before settling up my account and receiving my vehicle back. J.A.C. has maintained my Subaru for nearly 10 years; on a scale of 0 to 5 stars, I would give them a 6.

Japanese Autocare came highly recommended by my neighbor, at a time when my car needed an excess of a $4,000 repair and had been bought from and only serviced by a Toyota Dealership in San Diego. Because of questionable advice from the dealership, I chose to get a second opinion from Japanese Autocare. That visit and subsequent others have continued to exceed my expectations in both car and customer service!Recently, I saw the oil light come on, followed by a smell a few weeks after the light came on. I called in the afternoon, described what was happening and Japanese Autocare suggested I immediately bring in my car. As it turned out, I came to them an hour before closing and they were able to, not only change my oil, but also, with the help of more than one service person, identify additional items of concern but not emergent. We scheduled another appointment, I left a few minutes after closing, not only feeling safe to drive, but also trusting the recommendations I had been given.I have NEVER felt pressure of any kind to complete more services than I anticipated and the pricing has always been more than fair. I had had 8 years of service history solely with a Toyota dealership and, because of Japanese Autocares obvious commitment to integrity (not to mention their talent as mechanics!), I switched my allegiance to their shop and have not looked back. I truly would recommend them without reservation.

I was referred to Japanese Auto Care by another shop that wasnt able to fix my car. I brought my Lexus RX350 here because the check engine light kept coming on. Joseph at Japanese Auto Care was very helpful, patient and took the time to explain everything. It turns out the cars computer didnt like the generic camshaft sensor the previous shop installed. Joseph ordered a genuine Lexus part, installed it and test drove the car extensively to make sure the check engine light didnt pop on again. Kudos to Japanese Auto Care! Thank you for the exceptional service.

I am very satisfy with the repairs; and their concern, integrity and friendly professional feedback. I took my vehicle to Escondido Infiniti dealership, they had it all day, and they charged me for a diagnostic recommendation over $5000 that did not include the problem I went their for. Japanese AutoCare, called me back within one hour with the description of problem, and reasonable estimate. I will definitely stay with this business, they were trustworthy in explaining vehicle problem and all steps taken to repair. Professional, trustworthyHaven, is very friendly and personal, she goes over and beyond to address your issues. She is the face of the business and represents100% of her time to make you feel that you made the right choice at Japanese Autocare! I went in to get my oil changed and brakes replaced. It was clean and Sam the owner helped me out right away. He was very personable and he did a good job explaining everything he was doing to my car. They took me to work and picked me up when it was over. The price for everything was really good compared to other places and I would go back.

Since 2011, Japanese Autocare extended the life of my late model Lexus beyond expectations, beyond 234K miles. Unlike dealerships with long lines and high prices, JA had same day service and fair prices. They’ve always been there for me, accurately diagnosing and fixing only what was necessary. When the time came to move on, they saved me from buying a lemon, and vetted my replacement car. You treated me like family. Thank you Sam, I love you JA!

Sam does everything in his power to get it right and fix very complicated or hard to find problems with our familys older model cars. He never gives up and always tries to find the lowest cost repair vs dealerships who will fix your car yes, but at about 5x the cost!!! These guys are great for the money and we have been with them for over 8 years since we found them. We have a Dodge Astro Van, Mercedes S500 and Lexus RX that they work on so they are skilled in many makes as you can see))

Service has always been excellent with JA! Ive used them to service my Toyota vehicles for 5 years now and have never been disappointed. The work quality is good and the price is fair. Looking at the reviews I was excited to give them a try... went in for just an oil change and said I would have to wait 3 hrs. I understand there are other cars I front of me but I may be wrong, turning down business isnt a good thing.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND JAPANESE AUTO CARE.I was completely DISAPPOINTED AND FRUSTRATED that I had been taken advantage of and scammed for over a year. This occurred because my husband worked out of town, I work a lot and am ignorant to the mechanics of my vehicle while placing complete trust in the owner.Each time I picked up my vehicle (which was many times, I have a lot of receipts to show for it), the check motor light was on, it was not running correctly, so I had to return or leave my car. My Red Dodge Durango spent more time at the shop then in my driveway. Ask the repair shop next door as it was a permanent fixture at Japanese Auto Care.I was provided a loaner. More so than not, on empty, with the check motor light on, and dirty. I have a lot of patience although I asked myself would I trust my hair to a stylist that has bad hair, or a weight doctor that is over 300 lbs?I am hoping this negative rating will change the way business is conducted at Japanese Auto Care, but as I know from dealing with people, character does not change. I can only hope and pray.Honesty must be #1 PRIORITY.Character and Non-Ethical business conduct Never should play a role when providing customer service.The Department of Consumers Affairs will be next in receiving a letter from me.OCEANSIDE TRANSMISSION THANK YOU!!!!Lana Rayburn RN BSN
