This thrift boutique is very clean and well organized. You can find gently used quality items at discounted prices. Maria and Alexsis were friendly and helpful!
So I moved from north park area to normal heights recently and hadn’t really been to home start. I know they offer employment to families who are struggling & that’s amazing. However… the past 3 times I have gone in Maria has been extremely rude or standoffish. I went with my baby to check it out and accidentally bumped into something and she was extremely unprofessional and rude with her response. I had gone in to donate and she was working again and I mentioned to her if they couldn’t take donations (it was really nice items) that I would likely have to trash as I needed space in my vehicle ASAP) she responded “you should probably trash them” as someone who works at a thrift shop you’d think their response would be to “make an appointment “ I would rather take my money to an Amvets and scour their racks since they likely have brand names as well for a fraction of the cost than here. It’s overpriced considering it’s not a buy sell trade. I’ve purchased Patagonia jackets for $10-$15 plenty of times at other thrift but here it would cost me $30 may as well buy new 😅
I LOVE this store. Periodt.
This is by far the best thrift store on Adams Avenue. Very clean very organized. Not your typical thrift shop. I love it:)
Enjoyed the Art on Adams art festival today and also got to go in this store. Prices were great, good selection, and your purchases help single moms. Found a pair of Levis for my husband for $6. I will definitely be back! 😁
Amazing people with an even better mission, for every child to have a safe, stable, and nurturing home (Home Starts vision). Most of the volunteers that work at the thrift store work as a grant; these are women that have been afforded many services from housing to mental health and so much more. The profits made from the donations go to supporting these services. Theres trendy clothes (including business suits), shoes, purses, furniture, toys, and more. Theres always great deals too, including Last Chance: $1/$2 sales, filling a big bag of clothing for $10, or 50% off; just check their website.
Good selection of clothing. They also have good discount sales. I feel like there is more womens clothing and accessories here than mens. Prices are on the higher side for a thrift store, but this is advertised as a boutique. They do have fitting rooms so you can try things on. Store is clean and well-organized and doesnt have the familiar must thrift shop odor. When I attempted to use a Yelp offer the cashier told me, the manager said we dont use Yelp anymore and in the future wont honor the discount. I think they should remove the offer if they choose not to participate any more.
Good the best mach of good clothes for the right price🥇🤵
They have a $10 fit as much as you can in a bag bag sale the manager Did NOT fit what fits in the bag She was putting 5 to 6 thing on bags and charged me for 3 bags!!! The previous times we could put 10 to 12 items if the fit nicely per bag, she was being greedy rude and sneaky....I wont go back if shes not providing these services correctly to customers in the fiture... she said ALOT of Negative about the previous manager styles and some of the staff to add to that, I was Very uncomfortable and way overpriced and jipped ....wouldnt want her as my store manager.
Very nice friendly environment I found everything I need for a very reasonable price I would definitely come back again
