I brought it a pair of suede boots that he did a fabulous job on, and I was also really impressed with the low prices. In that case he was putting in new soles. So I brought in one of my favorite pairs of heels that just needed a tiny bit of mesh repair on the top so it wouldn’t keep rubbing the top of my foot raw, and they came back so glue stained that I’ll never wear them again :(. I wish I’d said something at the time but I was too embarrassed to call out flaws. I’ve tried so many things to get rid of the stains (cleaning with detergent, rubbing nail polish remover, etc.) I even reached out to the Shoe Hospital online and sent them a picture and they said they couldn’t do anything for those stains either. I’m super sad and frustrated because I hate to get rid of perfectly good things, but I don’t think I’ll be bringing future shoes back unless I truly don’t care about the outcome...I haven’t worn these once since I got them back like 2 years ago.

Did a beautiful job of fixing a piece of luggage.

My left leg is shorter than the other. Therefore, anytime I purchase new shoes, I must have an addition added to the bottom of the left shoe. I am fairly new to the area and hadnt purchased a new pair of shoes since my arrival. I definitely needed new sandals so I purchased a great pair and took the left one to Rancho Bernardo Shoe Repair and explained my situation. Just picked it up this morning and couldnt have been more pleased!! Great service, quality job and fair price!! Highly recommend them!

Im recovering from a foot injury and my doctor put me in a boot but when I walking my right foot was not level with my other foot. He glued a lift so now I can walk comfortably.

Very very unprofessional and rude. He didn’t do what I asked him and when I told him this was not what I asked for, he started yelling at me. I told him to calm down so we can talk but he said that he was mad and continued yelling. He said if I was not happy I should sue him. He didn’t even wanted to talk and see what I was saying. He was so scary and I just left. I payed for something I didn’t need to be done.

Keep away from this place. This man is very dishonest and rude. I will never go back. I paid him in front and he didnt do what I wanted. He got mad and yelled me out. I am very dissatisfied and frustrated.

This business has been here a long time, however this year a new owner has purchased the shop. He is very kind and sincere. His business model is simple: take pride in your work and treat the customer with respect. I am confident you will be happy with your future shoe repair needs.

Always does a great job and always ready on time!

Look at Yelp for more accurate reviews. This man is very rude. I brought in suede knee high boots that needed a cleaning and a repair for a small rip on the toe. He charged me up front. Originally, I was happy with the prices ($15 for cleaning and $10 for the repair). However, when I picked up the shoes I saw that his repair was a glued rectangular suede fabric. The added material was extremely obvious and ugly. It stuck out from the shoe and was darker than the shoe fabric. I politely told him that I wasnt happy with the repair and asked if he could fix it. He comes back with the fabric pulled off, however, the toe of the shoe now looks way worse than before because of the glue. He realized my frustrations and says well, what did you want me to do?. He is the supposed shoe expert, not me. These were my favorite shoes and he yelled me out of the store for asking him to fix what I already paid him to do. I don’t know if he was just having an off day, but no matter the excuse, screaming at and blaming the customer is unacceptable. I will not be returning here.

I dont know how this place got these goos reviews. I was fooled by the reviews and took my shoe there, but this man was so rude and didnt want to even listen to what I was explaining and was very bad tempered that I left. very unprofessional and rude.

In todays economy, its often cheaper to throw something away and buy a new one. This shoe repair store changes all that! Now you can save your shoes for a fraction of the cost of a new pair! Very nice guy who knows his work and does it well!

This place is amazing. Very fast service and amazing work. I took all of my old shoes there and now they look like new. The owner is very friendly and kind. My new favorite place to fix my old shoes.
