The cashier was very helpful. Excellent customer service by gentleman and lady cashier. Even though they didnt have what I wanted I still bought something off clearance rack.

Awesome company! They supply all the top quality brands of hardware. Their long history places them in a category all by themselves in San Diego. Cant say enough about their great service.

I have been coming to berger for several years now and each time i come in the employees are extremely kind and helpful. They have always been available for me to ask questions and help order any supplies I need. They also have parking behind their building and in north park thats a plus.

The gentlemen at the store (presumably the owner?) helped me for a good 10 minutes trying literally 25 really small washers on a bolt I brought in, to make sure they all fit. When we got to the register he said Just give me a buck.. This is an absolutely outstanding small business that you should support.

This is seriously the best specialty hardware store in all the lands. I find it soothing and cathartic to peruse isle after isle of meticulously organized fasteners. Every so often when I feeling spirited, which is often, I will buy an inordinate amount of various sized zip ties and heat shrink. Marshalls is where I want my ashes spread.

Great store for Door Hardware- apartment, home or high end.Extremely knowledgeable staff and great service.My go to store for over 20 years for anything related to door hardware.They now carry flooring and new hang from the wall fireplaces and electronic fishtanks!

Im a commercial customer. I can be demanding - some may say difficult. I demand a level of service that many companies just cant handle. I used to take all of my business to that big hardware store that is synonymous with San Diego.For the last couple months, Ive shifted all of my hardware business to Berger. They might not have all of the flashy displays like that other store has, but when it comes to honest, friendly service, the folks at Berger cant be beat. Im much happier as a Berger Hardware customer, and will refer my client base as well.

Theres a reason these guys have been around for over 100 years. They have a huge selection of decorative finishes and hardware. But in addition, they treat customers great and actually get to know you. I heard they recently started offering cabinets as well. If youre remodeling look here before youre done

Love Berger, have bought many products from them over the years including hardware for windows and doors, medicine cabinets, lighted mirrors, ceasarstone countertop, and more.Not only do they carry great products but their friendly and knowledgeable service is the best I have found in this or pretty much any other business. They go out of their way to help you including even fixing hardware that I have messed up and for free!!I send anyone who will listen to Berger, it is the best!
