I haven’t found mochi donuts since I was in Japan and I have to say that Bing Haus does it better. Some of the best donuts I have had. They have plenty of flavors to choose from. Whenever I am in San Diego I will make it a point to come back. I will say I liked the strawberry, custard, and cinnamon the most, in that order.
This place is awesome, the rolled ice cream is such a different experience than regular ice cream. They have tons of flavors and customizations available! They also make it right in front of you and its delicious. Highly recommend if youre looking for a sweet treat!
Parking is limited but once you get in you wont regret it. Its a small but hip way to serve ice cream. There are seats indoors and they serve coffee too. We tried the house coffee rolled ice cream topped with heath bar crumbs and whipped cream, Thai Tea rolled ice cream topped with grass jellyand whipped cream, and cookies and cream rolled ice cream topped with a wafer cookie. All tasted refreshing and was such a delight. Honestly 2 people can share one order but if youre am ice cream lover, give this place a try.
The service is very good along with the atmosphere at the cafe. Ive only had the rolled ice cream which has been very good. There are mucci Donuts are actually pretty tasty as well
Had a cortado, and the oreo cookie rolled ice cream and a donut They were all amazing. I am really impressed. Prices were great too. Will go back very soon.
Bing Haus never disappoints! Their rolled ice cream is our favorite item on the menu, but you cant go wrong with their delicious selection of mochi donuts. Whenever we dine in Convoy, Bing Haus is always out go-to dessert.
My first Korean food experience and it was amazing. I loved the fish cakes. Like seriously. I cant believe I loved the fish cake as much as I did. Everything we got was amazing. Huge portions. Great quality and service. The food was soo fresh. Tried to return before we left town but they were closed on Monday. 🤷 We will be back though! 💕
Ive been wanting to try the rolled ice cream for awhile. I got the green tea flavor with mochi and strawberries, delicious! I also got one of their popular mochi donuts which was Kool aid flavor. It was very fresh and tasty.
Unique and fun rolled ice cream place! I loved the cookies and cream and I enjoyed watching them roll it out and make it!
It was pretty good( though not the best ice cream weve ever had). The ice cream left a bit of a waxy feeling on the roof of our mouths, but the flavors were good though. However, the soft serve was just fantastic. On a side note, it was very busy on the Sunday night we went. There is a parking lot that is shared with a few other businesses, but if theyre busy, you might have a hard time finding parking like we did.
This was the first time I had rolled ice cream and I was not disappointed! It was so good! Bing Haus has some unique flavours that are really delicious (like their cereal ice cream) but also has the basics (I personally got the strawberry). You can watch them make your order in front of you and their atmosphere was great with really good music!
It can be hit or miss with the coffee I had my first enjoyable cappuccino here one day then the next day the espresso in the cappuccino was slightly over extracted i.e. bitter then I ordered a shot of straight espresso and it was way under extracted supper watery and sour granted each drink was made by different baristas but for the first drink I had here I give it 3 stars because it can be really good depending on your barista
This place was amazing. I forgot if this was bingsu or shaved ice but it was delicious. The hokkaido milk tea was creamy and the watermelon with condensed milk and fruity pebbles were awesome. They had the watermelon sorbet as their limited flavour. We’re definitely coming again the next time we visit Cali.
Really delicious rolled ice cream. While there is a small novelty factor to the ice cream, it was extremely delicious and the service was extremely fast. Didnt wait more than 5-10 minutes. The rolled ice cream had a lovely texture and the green tea was very popular and tasted great but my personal favorite of black sesame was amazing. The honey in the ice cream adds to the perfect creamy texture.
Good ice cream and would 100% go again but it is big so you could share it if you wanted too.
Super over priced, the staff was not nice, and it honestly seemed like they were so cheap. 25 cents for an extra cup if youre worried youll spill, and the smallest water cups that made me feel like I was at the dentist. When the cashier couldnt describe a soft serve flavor from a machine and we asked for a sample, he said no and reacted with such disdain and shock that it seemed like we asked the owner for a kidney.Never ever again, probably the worst experience of any ice cream shop Ive ever been to and it cost closer to $7 after tax for 1 bowl.
Mochi Donuts were amazing. Bought too many and now I feel guilty! But Definately worth it
Great drinks and rolled ice cream.
Good coffee. Haven’t tried their ice cream. Wish they had some baked goods, but haven’t seen any for sale in the 4-5 times I’ve visited. Perks during this COVID time: great outdoor seating available & they allow customers to use their bathroom.
Tasty treats and fun to watch them make! Check out this small business! Highly recommend!
Pretty good ice cream one of the best vinalla ice cream Ive ever have tried the roll ice cream is also pretty good and the mochi donut is pretty good its a bit expensive but pretty good thats is all
Cute decor, delicious selection of frozen and baked desserts!I picked the ice cream by the sea, with mango and vanilla swirl soft serve. Mango flavor was strong, so I am glad I got the swirl to tone down the flavor.I saw too late that they offered poop emoji shaped breads, filled with either red bean or Nutella. I would try that next!Parking is tight here! I parked on Pepsi St and walked over.
For starters, the staff was great, the rolled ice cream was tasty, and even though it was busy we received our order in a timely enough manner. Now for the other side. The parking lot is terrible. Not only is parking not available, the lot is small and I was afraid another driver was going to hit us. Bing Haus itself is also unfortunately a bit small. I guess we went around a popular time so it was crowded and there was nowhere to sit.Bing Haus is definitely worth trying, but due to location, popularity, and size, I dont think Ill comfortably visit again any time soon.
Very cute Cafe with good deserts. Ordered the Black Sesame rolled ice cream to split with a friend. Perfect way to finish lunch.
My bestfriend introduced me to this place amd I was not disappointed. It has a small selection of gift items in the shop. I had the Ube and churro mochi donuts and they were divine. Very light amd perfect for my sweet vanilla mint (soy substitute) latte. Quick and friendly. Great place to end or start a date and a fantastic place to met with friends.
Very good i love nice people good food yes good
Friendly staff, good number of drink, snack, and dessert options, and they have a yummy house milk tea that’s not too sweet.
Always a tasty and delicious variety of rolled icecream. :) Great staff and atmosphere.
I’ve been coming here regularly for about a year now and it’s one of my favorite places! The staff is always so nice and welcoming. The coffee tastes so yummy (I usually only get lattes as I get some work done on my laptop) and it’s such a nice environment! They offer a selection of milk alternatives as well. Not a lot of parking space- but that’s a city thing as most everywhere in Clairemont Mesa has limited parking.
Tastiest rolled ice cream and delicious coffee! The customer service is also always good!
Nice and welcoming atmosphere with the aesthetic decor. Came on a Monday during the Soft Opening night and there wasnt a line so I got my Green Tea rolled ice cream within 10 minutes. (Other flavors: strawberry, cookies & cream, sesame, banana)The Green Tea flavor was topped with strawberries, mochi, and whipped cream. Aside from being in a rolled form, it was not extremely unique, or worth $6.50 in my opinion.I dont know if I would come here again, unless I feel like overpaying for the presentation of my ice cream.
This mango sorbet is the nastiest thing Ive tasted in a long time. Its not sorbet its some kind of chemical concoction. But the strawberry on top was ripe
Love their cookie cream ice cream...
Love their cookies n cream, and fruity pebbles rolled ice cream definitely will order again soon.
Good rolled ice cream. Takes a little while to get because theyre each made to order. Do not order coffee at night; tastes as if it was made hours prior. Hot cocoa is just so-so too.
Awesome people amazing atmosphere love love everything about it. Nancy is so chill and amazing. Great place for sure
Really nice aesthetic here. Loved the atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and ice-cream. Great place for rolled ice-cream or boba. Staff are friendly and young. Not great for gluten free. Would recommend.
Honestly, this is the only place i go to when i want to get rolled ice cream. they have all kind of options you could choose from or you can customize your own. the staff are very friendly & helpful when it comes to your order. they also have a place where you could watch them make the rolled ice cream. basically, this is a great place hang out with your friends/family & i highly recommend it!
The Smores ice cream roll is so good. I wish itwas mot a monthly special item
The experience is just as good as the ice cream. They green tea ice cream and black sesame ice cream are wonderful, unique flavors that help set this place apart. It is expensive at $6-$7 but the whole experience makes it worth the money. If youre out to eat dinner on Convoy then a stop by the Bing Haus is a great place to grab dessert. Just be prepared to wait for your ice cream. Everyone loves it as much a I do.
Delicious! My niece in-law is visiting this week from N. Carolina. She found it on line. She had it on her Must Do list. Fun! A little pricey though for a cup of ice cream. Ill be back....as a treat once in a while. However, if less expensive, Id come more often. Definitely a must try.
Its was a dessert stop for us. Driven there by locals who knew this place. It was enjoyable
I didnt get to try the rolled Ice as it was a 45 min wait. The place is kind of small and doesnt accommodate their customers well. I got to try the watermelon Haus and that was good. I like their use of fruity pebbles for crunch and the freshness of the watermelon. The shaved milk has a great texture but was definitely bland, I had to ask for extra condensed milk.
Bing Haus has a tremendous team of people who are helpful and fun and work hard to make ice cream ya. My favorite thing about Bing though is that I can spend the day there on my laptop working or studying and they have outlets and make great coffee! 5/5
Great combinations and theyre open pretty late. Very trendy vibe. Staff are friendly but it can be slow even if there is no line. Coffee program isnt at the level yet but theyve got all the makings of a 3rd wave...
The charcoal icecream was delicious. The wife tried the fish shaped soft waffle cone and it was tasty. The atmosphere seem comfortable and a spot where locals come. They serve coffee and it smelled good.
Love this small business!! Their black sesame rolled ice cream is life changing!!
This spot was so neat! Location was a little hidden for me but I like small shops. Slightly over priced but worth trying it out, the rolled ice cream I ordered was SO good! Loved the interior of this place to, cool spot to go with some friends.
We had the rolled ice cream. Not much flavor. I think they could have added more of the ingredients to boost the flavor. Not many flavors to chose from. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Nice place with interesting desserts. Tried their delicious rolled ice cream
Located in the corner near the FedEx office. Although this place is very popular it might be a task to get to it. The parking in this area is terrible. But if youre lucky enough to get parking, you wont be disappointed with whats in store. This place serves rolled ice cream along along with soft serve and teas of all sorts. Caters to those of all ages, but Ive noticed a lot of younger people frequent this spot.
Amazing rolled ice cream. Been a loyal customer for two years. Very delicious and fresh. Never a bad time here. Parking sucks but it’s the area
