Only Good vibes here. We enjoyed the Mexican mocha, butter croissant, mimosa, hot tea and a house coffee. Nice lil cafe to grab a bite and chill out.

It’s a super cute bakery and breakfast place! I love the decorations and atmosphere here. All the pastries look so fresh and yummy, we ordered a chocolate croissant and a coconut rum cake, which were both really great. The house coffee is warm and nice too. I’m definitely coming back for more pastries and breakfast meals. By the way, the service is super amazing, so friendly and sweet.

The birds outside were singing as we had our breakfast. Just had the Lavender Mocha Iced as well as hot! LOVE THEM BOTH!!!Shock today when I saw the cinnamon buns with less frosting...might need to stay another petition to bring the frosting back! :) Mine was still delicious as usual though.Yeap....FROSTING IS BACK IN FULL FORCE ON THE CINNAMON ROLLS. Oh and they loved my shoes...bonus :)

Nutmeg is warm and inviting - has plenty of indoor and outdoor dining - the food is absolutely delicious - and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. Lots of options for vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free and dairy-free.

When a place youve enjoyed for years opens another location, youre full of hope. When the world shuts down shortly after, you now hope that they can sustain. Well today my son and I visited and everything was fantastic.

The breakfast is decent, but the pastries are so dry, it’s like you’re eating dry wall. I’ve tried giving several of them a try, including the cinnamon roll, but it honestly taste like your eating week old pastry.

Had the spicey quesadilla was huge and tasty. Cinnamon roll was amazing.

Wow! The best breakfast I have had since moving to California. Their quiche and salad was perfection. Both were seasoned perfectly. The salad had a wonderful soft cheese and was dressed perfectly. The lavender mocha was delicate and delicious. Perfectly floral and lightly sweetened. Yum! Also very sweet and sincere staff. I will be back.

Not really sure why this place has such great reviews. Maybe because they have some pretty ladies working there and they deliver decent customers service? because that was one of the worst breakfasts Ive ever had. Not really sure how the cooks can be satisfied putting such dry food out, Id feel pretty embarrassed personally.

Im sorry to say that this breakfast was a dry as the Sahara. I had the Eggs Benedict & my friend had the scrambled eggs. How does one ruin potatoes? Uber dry biscuits, questionable sauce on the eggs, & ham (?)... To solve that mystery, inquire at Nutmeg. What an incredible disappointment. BTW, the pork substitute was seasonless, dry (of course), inedible, boiled (?) chicken. Save yourself the trip...😝

Our visit to Nutmeg seemed fine and over all was just that. It is a shame that they deliver quality food with a smile but fall dead short when a small, cheap fix, keeps a customer coming back. After paying $84 for a 4 person breakfast, they were asked to replace 2 pieces hard bacon with 2 softer ones. A different girl comes out to our table with a wireless card reader and explains that they are going to charge us another $2 for new bacon and that we were fully at fault for not thinking of this when ordering( mind you there were so any questions about every little thing concerning our order). Fair enough. It was our mistake. Really, were talking about $2 here. Not exactly a fortune in pork belly. When any savvy restaurateur compares (maybe) a $0.50 order of bacon to killing a customer relationship where the bill exceeds $75 for breakfast? This should be a no-brainer. Oh well. Not me,, never again.. Que sera sera.

Lovely place. Healthy food options. Great quality service. Dont miss it if you visit scripps ranch. I am just lucky this place is like 2 min drive from my homeWe love the breakfast and they make some great panini and sandwiches .Kids love the cookies and brownies here.

Amazing coffee!I had their cappuccino, it had a lil bitterness but at the same time it had smooth texture. I normally add 1 sugar, but here I was able to drink cappuccino without any sugar.Tried Turmeric latte too, it was good.Staff are friendly, prices on par with Starbucks but the taste was way better.Will have to go back to try their sandwiches!

I like the food which has vegetarian options. The staff here is always friendly and cheerful. However I’ve found hair in my food on 3 separate occasions here. The last time this happened, I brought it to their attention and asked for my food to be remade. Instead of remaking it, they simply took it to the back, pulled out the long hair, and rewarmed the SAME FOOD. When my food came back, it was dry, burned, and in so many pieces. I couldn’t eat it. This place is close to my house and has healthy vegetarian options and breakfast options that my kids like, so I really wanted to like it. When they re-warmed my same food which had hair in it, and served it back to me dry and burned, this is why I won’t be coming back. I wish they would have just remade my food fresh. Nobody deserves to eat food with other people hair in it, or be served the same contaminated food but worse-burned and dry.

The food is great, they change the menu every so often, but everything is good. My favorite part of every visit however are the lattes, my favorite in town.

Great sandwiches! My favorite is the chicken Caesar salad sandwich. There is a very tasty parmesan crisp that makes it absolutely delicious.

Love love love this delightful cafe. Very Covid friendly, food is amazing, coffee is too. I loved the Chai Latte. Enjoyed the outdoor seating while it lasted but will be happy with to-go for now until outdoor seating is once again permitted. Staff are super friendly and I highly recommend this gem of a place!

Their avocado toast changed my life. SO good! Love the atmosphere and friendly service.

Very expensive, they didnt have paper in their credit card machine so couldnt give receipts which was unacceptable. To get coffee refill was a real mission even though I was charged over $3 for a black regular coffee, complete rip off.

Staff was very friendly but the food was very mediocre and expensive. Went on a Sunday and there was only a few select options on the menu.

Avoid this place at all costs. They try and rip you off by sneaking in almost $1 extra charge for a little side of organic milk and dont even accept cash. Most staff seems nice but girl at register seemed entitled and rude. Maybe make her wash dishes instead of interacting with customers. Hopefully this place will go out of business and a real customer friendly restaurant/coffee place step in and take over. Major Ripoff.

The smokey Thomas sandwich was awesome. Great service and outside dining was set up very well to meet good spacing.

Nutmeg has been my absolute favorite place for breakfast or lunch for several years. Both locations are equally great. The food is consistently amazing, the owners Drew and Mischka are warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend eating here!

Outdoor seating only due to recent COVID guidelines ... but they are ready and willing to accommodate as much as possible. The food is excellent! I brag: I was in the Biscuit Eaters Club!!! WooHoo!! ;)

Incredibly slow service. Staff seem nice but flustered. Asked for some cold milk instead of creamer to add to my $3 coffee and was told there would be an extra charge because its organic. Im not aware of any other major coffee store that charges for a little bit of cold milk to add to coffee. Food was average at best. First and last time ever eating here.

Tried the honey latte and a Snickerdoodle cookie. The latte was okay, tasted like a lot of milk. My son loved the warmed up Snickerdoodle, I could only sneak in a couple of bites. We sat outside and it was nice and quiet since the place next door is closed on Sundays.

Not covid friendly. No tap pmt and stand in line to order instead of waiter/waitress

This place not only has great quality of food but also is beautiful, has a great light that makes it very clean looking and employees are very friendly!!!!

The food is just as amazing as the original location, the gluten free pastries are to die for, and the new location has so much more space and more parking! My favorite brunch spot anywhere in the area!
