Let me start of by saying I LOVE my kitchen! Kitchens and bathrooms in my opinion are two crucial areas on a home you cannot cut corners on. Trying to find a good company was a bit challenging at first until I came across Kitchens Plus.(I found them through a neighbor). From the moment I stepped in I knew this would be the place. Let me begin by saying it is a very organized business, with a very clean showroom and they have so many options! Sarah was able to come to my home, take measurements, asked what I had in mind and went back and created a design for us. I was so blown away by her design that it almost seemed unreal that my kitchen could look like that. Moving forward, we decided this would be the place we would trust to do our kitchen remodel. Matt the owner is awesome! He runs a very tight ship. He listens to what you have to say and makes sure to check in during the whole process. I think this speaks volumes when an owner can take the time to check in and make sure everything is running smoothly. His team was on time, everything was done on schedule and the outstanding workmanship is by far some of the best I’ve seen. My kitchen turned out amazing. It looks just like the rendering Sarah made for me if not better! I without hesitation would refer anyone to Kitchens Plus. Three years ago Kitchens Plus did a great remodel on our Kitchen, Bathroom and Fireplace hearth, please see previous review. We’re still very impressed with how well it all turned out. Recently, we found a problem with the white paint flaking off from the kitchen cabinet doors. This was not an issue with Kitchens Plus at all, but with the out of state cabinet makers finish.Unfortunately, we had to deal with a lot of back and forth with the cabinet maker and a lack of willingness regarding warranty coverage. Matt Barns and his staff at Kitchens Plus really stepped up and went to bat for us. In the end, the cabinet maker covered the replacements doors, however, Matt stepped up again and provided the labor to install the new doors when the cabinet maker should have covered this cost as well.Again, Kitchens Plus has demonstrated a firm commitment to quality workmanship (Acxel did great both with the original project and the replacements), and commitment to integrity in how they run their business, and how they treat their customers. I definitely will be hiring them for future home remodeling projects. In all fairness, the cabinets were of good build quality, however, the flaking finish, and reluctance by the cabinet maker to cover a warranty issue will likely make me consider one of the other cabinet lines at Kitchens Plus. We were extremely pleased with our kitchen remodel that Kitchen Plus did for us this year. They are the WHOLE package with the General Contractor (Matt), Certified Kitchen Designer (Sarah) and a California licensed architect. This made everything so much easier for us. Matt and Sarah were amazing, they listened very carefully to what we wanted and created a plan and design that we loved and fit our budget. It was a very extensive remodel with moving walls, shrinking the size of a powder room and needing a bigger footing because of a new 6 foot pop-out window, but they handled it all smoothly including the proper permits. The crew was great, always on time, hard workers and cleaned up at the end of each day:) We get so many compliments on our kitchen and will continue to refer them to others. I promise you wont be disappointed!

Kitchen’s Plus made my dream kitchen a reality. It turned out more spectacular than I ever imagined. Mike’s craftsmanship was impeccable and his suggested ideas were always helpful. Weve had Kitchens Plus do two projects at our home, and were extremely happy both times. We recently asked them to completely renovate a 900 sq ft condo. They were not our lowest bid for this job, but we knew that they would provide high quality work, would be easy to work with, and that their bid would be realistic.They removed the (old, inefficient, and gross) kitchen and started from scratch with a new layout. Not only it is a beautiful kitchen, worthy of a gracing a magazine cover, but the layout makes sense and people can actually use the kitchen.The (tiny) bathroom also got a makeover, with a beautiful new tiled walk-in shower with a fold-down bench in place of a tub/shower combination.New cabinets all around, new flooring, new paint, new door hardware, new kitchen and bathroom - and the condo is beautiful!And that huge renovation was done on time and was only $500 over the initial bid!Needless to say, we are extremely happy and will have no hesitation in using Kitchens Plus again.

Kitchens Plus did our complete master bed and bath remodel. They were great. Always there when they said they would be. Adapted to some changes we didnt anticipate. Went out of their way to please us. They became like family. Then when we discovered some cracked slab in the bedroom, and that was not in their expertise, they steered us to super foundation contractor and engineer to get us through that step. I have contacted them since then on other areas of our home and they have readily recommended appropriate people. Worth their weight in gold.

I am delighted to recommend Kitchens Plus to anyone looking for a kitchen or bath contractor. They did a great job remodeling my bathroom, from the design, to helping me select materials, to the meticulous workmanship of the companys employees, and even the excellent communication about the job. We had them remodel our 3 bathrooms. They created a schedule that impacted our family as little as possible and produced beautiful looking bathrooms. Their prices are fair for a business with a storefront and years of experience. Matt the owner was professional and always had our satisfaction as his goal. Axcel was an amazing foreman and was a pleasure to have in our house everyday. Their tile guys Bob and Nolan went the extra mile to make sure their work would last a lifetime rather than choosing speed over quality. We wanted to remodel our kitchen because we wanted a more open layout. After receiving several quotes from different contractors, we felt that Kitchens Plus was a good fit for us. Jim Peterman, our salesman listened to my dream kitchen plans and he moved forward quickly drawing out kitchen layouts. After making a few adjustments we signed the contract and looked forward to the day the work would start. However, we had to change our start schedule and Matt was very understanding. After the rescheduled start date the kitchen demo team Loreto and his crew were done in one day. Wow. Then all the work came together with the wall removal, the living room and hallway ceilings scraped, re-textured and painted. Cabinets arrived and Mike magically assembled and installed them with expertise and skill. I might say that he can figure out anything that wont come together easily. 😉I almost forgot to mention that Mike is a great electrician too! He made sure my cabinet lights were working correctly and to my specifications. Matt was in contact with me every step of the way and assured me that the project would continue even during Covid 19 pandemic and he was right! Everyone that I came into contact with were caring and professional from the plumbers, counter installers, painters and flooring contractors. Every one of them were patient and answered my questions. Bonnie Connollywas in contact with me to let me know if there was any changes in schedule and patiently answered any questions about the work or materials. This was my first experience working with a contractor on a project of this size. I know that I picked the right company and I am very proud to show off my kitchen to anyone who wants to stop by and look. Our future bathroom remodel will definitely be with them. We recently had Kitchens Plus complete a full kitchen remodel in our home. We chose this company as they were the only people who listened to what we wanted, provided great ideas, worked with us to maximize our space and designed something that was very different to what we had.Throughout the 6 week remodel we were impressed with the onsite contractors - Axel was considerate to our needs, always arrived on time and left the space clean and tidy at the end of the day.Matt stayed in touch, frequently checking in with us and made sure the team got finished on time. The few things that needed adjusting were done without question. The entire experience and end result exceeded our expectations - our kitchen is amazing. We used Kitchens Plus a few years ago to do an addition on our home as well as a complete Kitchen remodel. This job was huge and done in two phases. The addition doubled the size of our home and was two stories. It included a full master suite and Mother-in-laws apartment that had a kitchen and was fully handicap compliant. The second phase was a remodel of our old house kitchen, all new floors, windows, new roof, new stucco, and some carpet.

We removed walls and added a kitchen island, windows, cabinets and absolutely love the result. From design to the final day, Matt, the owner, Axcel, our Mr. “do it all”, were great!Good luck trying to find a better Re-modeling company than these guys!Leland & Lena Clement

Such a pleasure to work with a family owned and operated business that has been around for 34 years with the guiding principals of quality, integrity and service. Kitchens Plus exceeded any and all of our expectations. Their design service is excellent with only a minimal fee to initiate meetings to discuss dimensions, materials, and provide a CAD drawing. That information is yours, regardless if you proceed with a remodel or not. When our Designer first came to the house for measurements, she was accompanied by the Owner/CEO, Matt Barnes. Matt was thoroughly engaged throughout the 4.5 week job and met with each trade group (carpenter, painter, tile, plumber) before they started. He came to the job site almost every other day to check on progress and any concerns we might have. In the scheme of remodel projects, our guest bath remodel was quite small, yet the entire company treated us like 6 figure clients. The crew you get is the crew you keep until the job is finished and they come every day. No tradesmen were pulled off our job to go to other projects. If you want to save money, KP will work with you. We did our own demo and insulation, as well as purchasing all our fixtures, tile, vanity and counter top before the job start. No mark up or delivery charges incurred. Though small in scope, our job still required slab work, concrete, drain extensions and some creative carpentry for our 43 year old bathroom reno. This company did not take shortcuts in any phase of our job. They simply do things right the first time. Our tradesmen were all consummate professionals and a pleasure to have in our home. Courteous, respectful, friendly and willing to answer questions. The tile setters, Bob and Nolan, were absolute master craftsmen. Our 1/3 modified brick tile pattern was done to perfection. They even matched the veins in the tile on the vertical and horizontal planes. Our shower and pan were built the old fashion way with chicken wire, concrete and hot mop. No Hardy board in this shower. The plumber, Ty, also a magician at rearranging drains, fixtures and solving inevitable plumbing problems. Our guest bath is now drop dead gorgeous and the envy of family, friends and neighbors. Thank you Kitchens Plus for such an amazing and enjoyable experience. From the first discussions with Kitchens Plus long distance from out of state before even moving here to the final visit when the condo was complete - it was a great experience! In our old house, we had done quite a few renovations, so we knew what was important - especially TRUST and the working relationship. If you only go on the lowest bidder - - you will, literally, get what you pay for. Kitchens Plus will come in mid-range (or high mid-range) - - but you wont get a zillion change orders, delays, excuses, etc. that end up costing you time, money and frustration. You WILL get a quality job, friendly staff, quickly returned calls and emails, the owner is very involved and vest in having a high customer service company and it shows with everyone you encounter.We gutted our 900 sq ft condo. It was difficult to downsize from 2,000 sq ft on a quarter acre to the condo - but they listened to everything I wanted and made it happen!! Even working within the crazy restrictions from the condo association, they did it with professionalism, respect, friendliness, and ultimate pride in their work and making our dream come true. They work on your job as they would work on their own homes!!I truly cannot say enough good things about this group. I did not receive anything to write this review - it is because I believe great work deserves to be recognized and they are top notch. Their caring is what stands out. I would talk with anyone who needs more information.We did our entire condo at once (since we had to move out to have it done with only one bedroom, one bath) - but if we had done it in stages, we would have gladly hired them time and time again, and never gotten another bid since they are so good, so responsible, so easy to work with. They cleaned up every day, followed all condo rules without issue, do most of the work themselves (except for countertops or carpeting that they use contractors they trust and have worked with for 20+ years), and stand behind everything they do. Our place is EXACTLY as I wanted it. And in such a tiny condo, everything needed to be done exactly as it had been designed since there was no room for error. And I was on-site every day with them, so I know how hard they worked!!!! Though, you dont have to be there, I just chose to be (though I did leave at times). Great crew - I miss them!They have the licensing, bonding, insurance and expertise to do their jobs. When letting someone into your home, you need to be careful, otherwise you may regret only going for low bidder. GOOD companies bid correctly for QUALITY staff, CORRECT timing, and REALISTIC expectations and work issues. Again - - you get what you pay for. Be sure to ask people how State insurance/contractors website, get a copy of their insurance, do your research on references - - and remember, Kitchens Plus has a CREW, so they get things done easier, quicker, more timely when THEIR CREW is on site, versus a sole contractor who does it by themselves, for the most part, and will take longer, use massive subs, not have the bandwidth for contingencies, and just dont have the ability to get it all done as you need. Since we had to move out during the work, timing was everything! They worked as hard and fast as they could, and they dealt so well when I had to make last minute changes to the tile I had chosen - they were amazing. Other companies/contractors may give you a low bed, and then nickel and dime you on change orders, upgrades, forgotten items - but Kitchens Plus gives a pretty accurate bid of costs - and only a couple items needed to be adjusted and it was very clear why - - we met our budget and that is so important, and under-rated, when people are getting bids.Everyone who has seen our place has marveled at the workmanship.YOU WONT REGRET USING KITCHENS PLUS!!!!!
