Long story.Air conditioning failed on the hottest day in August. 2020There was a back wait of 4-6 weeks for any service technicians to diagnose the problem. Called at least 10 different places asking for part#..... no one had the part in sock. Those who had the part refused sell to the public with out a .... accountLong story short every A/C & heating company wanted 300-400$ to replace an A/C capacitor.This place sells to the general public and had the part I needed in stock.Saved me hundreds of dollars and gallons of sweat.Thank you!(Yes, the system was inspected and refilled to proper specifications after the capacitor was replaced by certified technician)
Carlos from the San Diego location went above and beyond to help me. I am a disabled veteran and recently purchased a pedestal fan. After attempting to assemble it in my garage I hit an impasse at an assembly point due to my disability. I called Grainger to arrange a return with no hope of being able to get a fan like this for my garage since no one has them assembled. Carlos volunteered to come to my house and assemble it for me. He even brought another unit in case we had a defect in the initial unit purchased. Carlos professionally assembled the fan and tested it. Thank you Carlos and Grainger!

Had decent experience with this location for years but at this time of COVID-19 this company like many others are charging $100+ for a case of 12 Lysol aerosol cans !!!! Go to Home Depot and get the same exact thing for $60+/- a few bucks...

Why do they always ask for first and last name, company, account number before asking what you need just to tell you it’s not in stock. They don’t seem to have any concept of time and urgency. And why can’t I call my local store directly. It’s like dealing with a government agency.
Been completely happy with the Kearny Mesa location in San Diego. When told pick up is ready, it is always there and service is fast. Been there about 8 times for various orders. Friendly service. Maybe the complaints are about different locations but stellar service in KM.

How is this place still in business? Special ordered a Y-1 tri-point screwdriver on Wednesday afternoon by phone and was told itd be ready for pick up by 1pm Thursday. Stopped by on Friday afternoon at 4:10pm and find out that they dont have it. Rick offered to track the item, but I decided to cut my losses. This isnt amateur hour. I drove 25 minutes each way to pick up this item. I do not recommend going here.
These guys have it all, if they dont have it on the shelf they are more than willing to bring it in, fast friendly and efficient, never have to wait more than 10 minutes for assistance. Would recommend to a friend.
They had what I needed but it was like pulling teeth to get my product shipped to the correct store. Use them as a last resort.
