Backyard X-Scapes was amazing. They helped me source so many key items for my backyard remodel. They were patient, offered great design & use suggestions, and provided solutions for items that have been slow due to supply chain issues. We will most definitely be working with them in the future.

As a follow up to my initial comments and rating, one of the owners did call me back with a detailed apology voice mail and said this would a learning experience for his team and offered me a discount for future purchases. I wont be taking him up on his offer; but do appreciate the seemingly sincere apology follow up and acknowledgement. Therefore Ill change the initial rating from 1 stars to 3 stars. My earlier / first comments: Do business with them only if you dont mind promises not kept, poor to no communication, wasting you time, run arounds and excuses, a company telling you what you bought would be shipped ASAP only to find it was on Back Order for 2 months, taking your money up front, insincere apologies, an incorrect amount refund being credited. They totally waisted 2 week of my time waiting for the order to arrive.

For yard decor this is the place, especially if you like tiki environments. Lots and lots of tiki everything. Fountains, statues, carvings, bamboo all shades and designs. You pay for great quality. Itll last. Lots of pots.

I purchased a fountain pump from Backyard Xscapes in Dec and and it became intermittent in a little over 5 weeks. Backyard Xscapes allowed me to return it and replaced it with a new pump. Im certain it was a manufacturing defect in the pump but no arguments from Backyard, Xscapes. The new one is working perfectly. This is the kind of business practices all of us consumers are looking for. Thank you Backyard Xscapes!!

If youre planning to spend less than 1,000.00, dont bother! We only bought small items because I took my little car. I was actually planning to pre- pay a buddha statue worth 600.00. Three of us customers stood in line for at least 20 min. Employees were passing by ignoring us. They could have at least informed a cashier. All of us got so frustrated, we all left. The owner was busy, but his people did not care. Ill buy my Buddha somewhere else!!!

The knowledgeable and friendly staff courteously guided me through their inventory of name brand BBQ grills and outdoor kitchen islands, fire pits, outdoor furniture, pottery (lots and lots of affordable pottery), stone statues, beautiful fountains, artificial turf, and much more. If your plan is to bring a slice of the tropics home, Backyard X-Scapes has everything you can possibly think of to create a tropical paradise atmosphere inside and/or outside your home. What they don’t have in stock, they can order for you. I live in Carmel Valley and was looking for a place to get a fountain and some pottery pieces for our yard. I am thankful I decided to just walk into backyard xscapes. The staff was very helpful and the prices were great. It was super convenient to have them so close and to be able to actually go to a store and see what I was buying.

Great product & service! Been looking for the 1-1/2 Bamboo fencing buthard to find here in NY. Maddie got back to me right away to discuss the shipping details. She saved me alot by just standard shipping which arrived in 3 days anyway. Was able to complete the project on time. The Bamboo had 1 or 2 splits out of all the sections which wasnt bad at all. Well put-together sections and would highly recommend Backyard X-Scapes.

I went to Backyard X-Scapes a couple months ago to change out a fountain color, that had been ordered 2 weeks prior. They were so helpful - they immediately made the necessary calls, and made sure I was going to get something I was happy with. Great customer service!

My experience with them (owner Steve) is that they are very dishonest.we shipped $5,000 Dlls worth pottery and they never paid. CROOK be aware

Run away fast! Called in a $140 order for BAMBOO GARDENS as a first time customer--Marissa took my order and told me my bamboo would ship in 3-4 days. I NEVER heard back, except for several charges to my bank account alerting my banks fraud protection. After charging and reversing large amounts on my card 3 times, they finally charged me correctly. Its been over two weeks, so I called the company back and got Marissa back on the phone who told me although Ive already been charged $140, my order hasnt shipped, and in fact, will take TWO MORE WEEKS, even though they charged me a week ago! She argued they left me a voicemail which is a lie, and then quoted back a bad email address she claimed to have notified me with. Should call the company Bamboozled Gardens. Shameful service and sketchy business practices!

Be wary of any custom color order. We ordered a fountain that came from Fiore stone(D) and in THREE TRIES, they failed to match their website color, then the sample I provided, then the sample THEY provided!!

If you are looking for a HUGE selection of yard decorations, especially larger sized pots for plants and flowers, this is the place. Prices are very reasonable too.

Love this place in San Diego...I love the bamboo fencing....my neighbors love and compliment our yard in carlsbad all the time...
