I really dont know what to say about the product. They dont answer the phone or return calls.I had a appointment for them to look at a large condo complex in mission valley, they were a no-show.I see this is very similar to other comments.Sad.

These guys were awesome! We needed a quote and they were able to squeeze us in since our fence was already down. Jeremy was nice to work with, communication could have been a little quicker on proposal but that being said I know fence companies are so busy right now so not complaining. He also messaged me with updates/confirmation for instal. The instal team was amazing! I’m very meticulous and appreciate people who care about doing a good job! Can I just say how happy I was the way we started the project. The lead guy wanted to walk the backyard with me and review what we were doing before we started. Their team was here everyday on time and let us know where they ended for the day and what they were going to do the next day. They also always left the site clean when they left for the day. They came and double checked a few things with me during installation which I LOVE, they did so good at making sure everything was level and giving different options to how we could have things done. When they were finished they even had one of the guys washing the fence for us. It was so nice having this team and the fence looks great! Already had a few neighbors compliment it. I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality work, quality fencing and their pricing was very competitive.

I had someone come out to measure my yard for a new fence and was told that i would receive a quote on the following day. When the quote was not received as promised, I followed up for 3 weeks only to be treated like the company was not interested in earning my business. I never received a quote nor was I treated in a manner that would make me feel comfortable ever doing business with this company. If this is any indication on the level of service that would be offered, I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company.

As others here have stated I too have had previous fence work done by Bear Fence over the years, and it was a pleasant experience. However, I recently tried to contact them about getting a quote for a new custom wall/iron fence in my front yard, and had ZERO response! I left voice mails on 3 separate days, and also e-mailed them with my request for quote, with absolutely NO reply from them. I am a small business owner myself and completely ignoring your customers is definitely NOT the way to keep your business going, especially in these times. I have since received quotes from two other local fence companies, both very responsive and eager for my business. I wont be using Bear Fence ever again. I also feel sorry for anyone trying to get an existing fence install issue resolved with Bear - good luck trying to get a hold of them!

Called this company 4 days ago to get a quote on some fencing. They couldnt even be bothered returning my call. In this day and age even the common courtesy of a response is expected. Hope you have better luck than I did. Sad.

Bear Fence installed the full wood fence around my back yard years ago. I called them recently because I needed to replace the two gates on both sides of the front of my home. Jeremy Blackburn came out, very friendly, very professional, said no problem, I’ll send quotes. Never heard from him again. Left email and phone messages, no return. It may because they are not interested in small jobs, as a “professional” company, it seems that stating so and perhaps recommending someone else would have been in line. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I had a good experience with Bear Fence years ago on a large job, so I called them again recently for a small job. Jeff came out and did an estimate, but when I asked Jeff via email when he could schedule the job I never heard back. I emailed again and still didnt hear back. My daughter called the office and asked for a callback from Jeff, and that never happened.I got an estimate from another company that was 35% less than the one I got from Bear Fence for exactly the same thing, and I got a firm start date in two weeks.

Simply the best fence contractor we have ever dealt with. So much higher quality than his competition that I would be embarrassed to be another fence company in his area.
