The cashier was very unfriendly. We tried asking some questions and only got vague and short answers. Bought the “fill up a cup” of tiny 0.18 cent sea shells and the lady complained a few were sticking up too tall. I could have shaken the cup and not spilled it, but regardless I apologized and took off the tall ones and put them away.Looked at my receipt when I got home and she charged me for 2 cups filled, not just the one I got and even removed some from to her liking.Selection and pricing is usually on point, but the service was awful.

I love this store. They have been in the business for over 30 years. Its not surprised me tho cuz Mr. Jonathan well takes care of his customers. Love to support local businesses. Price is so good, much cheaper than online. Excellent customer service. I will be back!

The old man at the cash register tried to scam my mom a couple years ago. Her bank stopped the transaction before it was too late. He attempted to charge more than $200 with GrubHub order. Do you want to know why the bank knew it was him? He added 00 to the toatal of what she paid for the sea shells with her card then tried to charge her again with the food delivery service. He thought we were tourists but we are locals. My kids loved coming to this store when they were little. Not any more.

Did a little shopping with out-of-town guests in OB today. The store clerk was very helpful very pleasant and professional.

The owner of this store is super friendly and gave really good suggestions on what to buy. She had a great selection and the prices where really good. The quality of gifts didnt feel cheap either. I had a great experience shopping in this store.

Two stars for the selection of seashells and zero stars for no customer service. The young lady at the counter was unfriendly towards my family and I today... entitled and disrespectful...did workers forget what customer service means anymore! They wont last if this continues, so sad! Never going back to that place!

Got the wrong size tees. Came back an hour later and just wanted to get a different size. Apparently “all sales final” includes no exchanges, which the sign DOES NOT say. Way to not support your customers who are supporting you *insert middle finger*.

Looks friendly from the outside, and has a quaint small beach town feel we all like. But service is terrible and items are thrown about in a unprofessional manner, along with drug propaganda. Grabbed a couple shells and walked through the store shopping, but the entire time was being looked at like I was going to rob the place or steal; by the woman at the counter. I place the shells on the counter and receive a look of disgust and arrogance, to be met only with the words YOU can afford this? I thought I had misheard. Then to be met with another look, I replied on a comment about pricing. A stapled shut bag of shells with a price tag of $1.50 one would think its that price since there is no sign indicating otherwise, BUT NO! To only be told the sticker meant per shell inside the bag not the bag itself. Horrible marketing and pricing technique. But otherwise from the rude staff who made me feel like crap and the cluttered shop & outrageous prices, its fine for anyone willing to put up with it! Would not recommend it either! Plus the whole store is 50% off, so is it closing? Hope so, maybe it can be replaced with a friendlier business!

I found a beautiful Christmas ornament at this shop. It was a clear globe with sand and sea shells. I collect ornaments in memory of my son that passed away after a bone marrow transplant and this one just took the number one spot! :0)

Small gift shop that offers different seashells sold individually. They also sell souvenir tshirts, magnets, coffee cups, etc for both Ocean Beach and San Diego. Parking out front. On the weekends, parking may be hard to find, but there are nearby side streets that offer parking, as well.

For your San Diego memorabilia. I gave it a 4 star because the price is quite high for the quality of clothing. But they have some really creative stuff.

If you are looking for gifts and cool beachy stuff you should definitely stop here . And seriously everything in the store is 50% of what the stickers say. I was nervous when my total came to $100 then went down to $50! Left with some amazing one of a kind ocean beach gifts!
