Im visiting from East Coast, they accept Safeway club card. Very clean and well stocked, friendly staff, walking distance. The only negative would be very $$ but perhaps because I am in California!

They keep store clean, and the layout makes sense and helps save you time while shopping and above that it’s really the staff that makes the difference for me. I always enjoy running into that store manager. He’s always in a great mood and you can tell that everyone else enjoys working there.

I had 15 people to my home for a Welcome to the neighborhood. Delia, who works in the Pacific Plaza, made Gourmet Cheese platter and fresh fruit platter to serve 20. Those platters were the most beautiful and artfully arranged platters I have ever seen. I will definitely ask for Delia to make any future orders that I may need. Give this lady a raise!!! She is talented!!!

A surly distracted checker at check stand 5. please go easy on him but I would like a friendlier vibe. also I was not too clear where I was supposed to get in line. sometimes people go into the aisle and I dont know where Im supposed to line up.

Seriously... Who is writing all these other reviews?! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I go to this Vons theyre out of a ton of stuff or I find out that they dont sell an item I need that literally every other grocery store in the country sells. Even the things they do stock their selection is just plain awful. I wasted like 10 minutes just staring at 10,000 bottles of Hidden Valley and other barf-flavored ranches before I gave up and decided I could forego ranch until I went to decent grocery store. Same with a lot of other items. Not only that, anybody saying Vons is reasonably priced has lost their entire mind. Its wayyyy more expensive than Ralphs or Trader Joes.Also, whats the deal with the blocked off bathrooms? My boyfriend and I REALLY had to get groceries, and for whatever reason, the second I walked in IT HAPPENED. Just..... Out of nowhere. Finally found the bathroom that theyve very carefully hidden and the entryway was full of shopping carts. If it wouldnt have been horribly embarrassing I would have unleashed the fury right on the floor in front of the restrooms that any reasonable customer would EXPECT to have access to in a grocery store. I had to waddle-run to CVS, sweating bullets the whole way. I made it, by the way, in case you were wondering (NO THANKS TO THE WORLDS MOST CONSISTENTLY DISAPPOINTING GROCERY STORE.)

My experience was great, the store itself has a very up scale atmosphere. Quite a large Vons, all items fully stocked & in place. I was able to get a glimpse of a crew member sanitizing the carts. A plus for me along with the disposable wipe stand they have to the right of the entrance. Nearly no wait in line 3 to 5 minutes give or take & my cashier was calm & collected. Over all experience, I would gladly go back, if only I could afford it.Four point eight starts only do to the price, but with everything I mentioned above its a proper tradeoff in ones opinion.

Just revamped their floral section, now located where the juice station used to be on the west side of the store. Its absolutely beautiful and has everything you need for last minute gifts or party supplies if you dont want to drive up to Party City, or for vacationers who dont know the area. They carry a wide variety of floral arrangements ranging anywhere between $10 to $140 and are probably the best Ive ever seen in my opinion. They also inflate balloons .50c for latex and $1 for mylar.

Went i last minute for cake and balloons for a 1st birthday. I got everything I needed and the cakes were cute and delicious. No need for going to a fancy bakery.

The employees here a very nice and helpful but the parking lot is an accident waiting to happen! And the store was so crowded which shocked me during Covid. I most likely wouldnt go back to this location

We just left Vons and we had the best experience in the bakery section with a gentleman I believe his name was Lasido. Lasido really made our shopping experience so delightful he was really nice and helpful AND did a beautiful job with helping us with my moms cake. Employees like him should truly be a appreciated by the companies they work for because I know as a costumer I do.

I purchased a bag of tortilla chips and didn’t think it would be much. When I checked out I noticed I was charged $8 lol and it’s a Vons brand. Nice move, Vons. Then I get home and they don’t even have salt. My wife’s been using this to make fun of me all week. 😀

Beware of the new firecracker fried chicken sandwich! The sign says chicken breast filet, the ingredients on the label say boneless, skinless chicken breast filets (plural). Whats inside??? A single very thin chicken strip! Plus the chicken strip was very dry, like it was sitting out all day yesterday, then put in a sandwich for today. Are you kidding me?

They are never staffed for the dinner rush. There’s at least 4 open cash registers that aren’t staffed and the lines back up to the aisles.Then, when you finally get to check out there are never any baggers so the check out people have to bag the groceries which slows the process.Management needs to add more staff to handle how busy this store is. Unacceptable.

The the manager on duty is not very helpful and rude I had forgotten my phone so I wasnt able to use it for a digital coupon I asked him if there was any way you could do it for me. His reply as if you dont have your phone you dont get the deal,I work for Vons for a few years and I know that they are willing to help you and Ive never had anybody rude like this before. I also had spent over $250 on my groceries and it was only one item which were dealing with this manager put a real bad taste in my mouth, I might not shop there ever again. If all possible I would like to manager to be reprimanded they dont teach you at Vons to be that way, and he was that way.

I needed to go to western union. A man name bill M was working. He tried to page a 2 different women associates to come help 3x but after about 15 mins I said I’ll go do my shopping and come back.When I came back he paged the one of the women again and then Proceeded to physically go find her, when he came back and said she was helping someone in the back and I’ll be the first priority when she comes up. This was totally fine with me. I then waited for her to come up.Bill was super kind and friendly.My complaint is to the brown haired women that came up to help him (or help me really)my issue started when when she verbally and loudly told him that they need to have a talk because this “was not okay!”.I’ve been in retail for 15+ many years and restaurants.When you need to adress your associate. It should ALWAYS BE DONE IN PRIVATE!!if your the manager or assistant manager in charge- your job is to do this kind of “not okay”stuff and she was in the wrong 100%.The part that got me was when she can up she told me “if you ever find yourself waiting in line for help, you can always go to rite aid or cvs for western union”.Really??1) I shouldn’t be waiting for 30mins or longer at any store if your doing your job when there is no line or crazy holiday stuff happening.2) why would you send me to your competitors? Just kinda stupid to say at the time.this review is to voice the unacceptable behavior of scolding another employee WHO WAS DOING THEIR JOB AND DOING IT HAPPILY AND FRIENDLY in front of customer. That is an extreme NO NO for any good manager! Great job to bill M and 0 points for the skinny brown hairs manager women. So sad for this kind of behavior.

The Managers like to follow you around if you look the least bit dirty. Im a mechanic and have walked in this store from work multiple times. Inside this store is a very uncomfortable feeling.

Nice place to get really great produce and the selection was excellent!! Plenty of meats and fresh seafood with lots of variety as well. Store has a customer service desk and Starbucks coffee. The store was clean and well organized and all of the employees we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!!!!

These days you must grade grocery stores by hygiene practices. We have an ongoing pandemic and this place is filty. I was there one week ago: social distancing not respected, people not wearing masks, counters sticky and disgusting.Then if we speak about the food: all meats are frozen or defrosting. Some of the cheeses and doughs too...Pretty disappointing

I have bought beautiful items with this store and for sure they left me impressed. Perfect selection and good service on customers. Thumbs up for such a wonderful brand I love to shop there.

Vons PB can be a challenge when the store is busy. Todays shopping crowd at late afternoon was light enough to make the $5 Friday specials worth searching out. I got $5 kitty litter and $5 baked chicken. Any leftover chicken goes to the kitties.

Really friendly staff. Can find pretty much everything here food wise. Good location for other places too. Patrice’s are pretty good. Checkout of always fast. Coupons and discounts for regulars with store card. Which I don’t have but they try and help you out with discounts if they can. I go here all the time for my grocery needs when in town.
