What a great Barons! We’ve been to the north park one but this one beats it out of the water. I wish one would open near me in North Carlsbad. They have everything at this one. A cold food bar, hot food, and salad bar. I love their soup bar. I got the clam chowder and oh man, big pieces of clams. So delicious. A great wine and craft beer selection. They don’t have bill food containers but everything is already packaged for you. Fruit selection is ok. Good cheese selection. They even have pies from Julian and CA mountain. Great little local store.

This is a great local market. They have great prices for most items. I enjoy their salad bar and soup. I was sad they moved out of Carmel Valley but found their store in Rancho Bernardo to be quite nice.

Apart from the very unobservant stick up customers, the store is great as well as the salad and soup bar. Great breads as well. The rosemary sourdough is awesome.

This is THE hidden gem of grocery stores. Like variety? Like healthy? Like value? Check check & check. I cant say enough about this place its small, quaint loaded with everything I could possibly need in my diet, many hard to find items. Salad bar is the best Ive ever seen... Ever. Shop Barons folks Whole foods and Sprouts are feel like Walmart now. Barons is your modern local organic neighborhood grocery store.

Good produce. Good salad bar. Minimal meat and expensive. Has most everything else, mix of prices but good quality.

We love Barons. They have a great selection of refrigerated and frozen vegan foods, a delicious olive bar, and lots of wonderful sourdough breads from local bakeries. So glad this little market is in our community.

We love our neighborhood Barons! The only place I buy fresh pizza dough which my kids love to bake! Our other regular buys are their fresh veggies, fruit, hummus, pita bread, tortilla chips & salsa.

Great neighborhood grocery store with a good selection of produce, deli and prepared foods. Maybe a little cheaper than sprouts for some fruits and veggies. Though I dont think the produce is as good. Go to chain for Julian apple pies.

Love my neighborhood grocery which has stayed stocked with all the essentials during challenging virus times. Huge wine selection, hot foods to go, salad and soup bars, etc., plus an obvious dedication to keeping people safe with constant cart sterilization, control of the number of people allowed in at a time, reminders to adhere to social distancing, plexiglass in front of the checkers (who frequently sterilize their areas). Thank you, Barons, for your caring.

Great market with an amazing produce section, a very nice hot & cold ready food section featuring soups, salad bars. They have a wonderful selection of healthy food choices. Everything is fresh, my favorite the freshly squeeze orange juice machine and olive oils. I wish I had this closer to my home! North Park also has a location.

Barons is a great place to pick up sandwiches, soups and salads. The store is clean and well organized and everything is always stocked up. I have been to a local chain where they are always out of the hot soup and Barons keeps theirs resupplied throughout the day. They also have a a great variety of soup choices. Also nice are the more unique food items that they carry that cant be found elsewhere.

You can get things here that arent usually available in other stores.They do have a lot of vegetarian and vegan choices.Produce is usually pretty good quality and staff is friendly.Meats, cheeses, and alcohol choices are good.The staff is usually pretty friendly and fast.Prices are a bit high, but it is a specialty market.

If you like Trader Joes or Sprouts, do yourself a favor and get to Barons Market, the local choice. Barons trys harder to give you more clean food choices. None of these guys are the cheapest - the big box guys and the national retailers win that competition on the brands they carry. Barons gives you products that are excellent, often organic, locally baked, brewed, or grown. Youll find excellent lunch options at the salad bar and specialty bar. The staff are hustling young people determined to make your shopping experience positive and fruitful - pun intended. Try it out, you may really like it. Parking is convenient but can get congested at peak hours - but a little more walking in your life is a good thing, right.

I always love to shop at Barons market for the following reasons:1. It is just a mile away from my home, so I bike to this location.2. And because I bike to that place I can carry back only the necessary things. And with that I save my time, my money on gas and not contribute more to the pollution.3. The quality is good and the prices are comparable with any of the super markets4. Its tucked, tiny and tidy... So you wont spend time walking in all the unwanted isles.5. Very friendly staff and very friendly customers.

This store is a treasure trove of the unusual! I could spend hours...if only! Their whole chickens are bigger and less expensive than other stores. The salad bar is fab and the Olive bar is too! Literally, everything from soup to nuts...great quality brands and super healthy! Love the produce dept too!

This is one of my favorite places to shop! They have a nice selection of organic health foods, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a soup and salad bar! Their pre-made and packaged sandwiches are awesome and always taste fresh! They have a huge selection of beer and wine and carry a lot of special, unique items that you dont often find anywhere else.They also recently redid their bathrooms. They always had clean bathrooms, but now not only are they clean but they are very nice.The staff is always super friendly and happy to help. Ive never once had a bad experience here since Ive started shopping here a couple years ago.Also worth mentioning that the prices are pretty reasonable for the products youre getting and their quality!

First time here. This is a very clean store. The employees are very helpful and courteous. Purchases the rotisserie chicken, it was very moisr and delicious.

I had an incredible experience on my first visit to this market while on vacation from out of state. No one in the store knew I was a tourist (then again, maybe it was obvious... lol) Every associate said hi to me and my family, brought my young daughters fruit samples while we shopped, packed my bags and showed me where they were placing the items so I knew where the fresh food was placed versus the packaged food. It was such a good experience l, I wish I could move to SD to make it my everyday grocer. Thank you Barons Market!!! Im coming back first chance I get!!

Always come to Baroons for Valencia oranges. Picked up a few other things. Wish they had low fat Swiss. Nice variety of unusual foods. I dont buy wine so all that store space is wasted on me.

Boutique store with great selection of food. They really are unique with sandwiches, other prepared food, as well as a grocery selection. They have a GREAT beer selection.Prices may be a little above normal, but not too much. I pop in here when I dont have time to do my regular shopping. They also have local products that they sell. If you havent been here, check them out!

Absolutely LOVE Barons. Fresh, local produce. They have hot soups available. Salmon vegetable, white chicken chili, split pea and kale, lentil. Many more. They also have a huge salad bar and antipasto bar as well. Too many selections to even note. Fresh baked goods. Wonderful place to grab a to go lunch.

Barons is a small upscale neighborhood market. One can find foods and brands there that would be hard to find in a chain supermarket. The staff are friendly and helpful. They carry a brand off yogurt that I love.

Only go to visit for coconut Thai soup, it seem no matter what week I go they dont have it. Fruit selection is very basic it should include more exotic tropical fruits. Mango offered is probably the worst tasting vareity on the market .
