The employees at Standard True Value are very knowledgeable. Needed help finding the correct piping for a project and they promptly found exactly what I was looking for.Very entertaining conversation too.10/10 service

Do not order any products here! Their salesperson, Amber Flores, ordered the wrong $1200 vanity and both her and the store manager refuse to find solution to help us get the vanity we wanted. Amber does not return phone calls when she agreed to call back. When I spoke to the manager, he told me that it was the customers responsibility to know the product number of the vanity and made sure that it matched the product we want.Detail of what happened: we got a quote of vanity that we picked up from the showroom of a different store and called MWI to see what it cost. Amber informed us that MWI was cheaper. We went over and gave Amber the quote. Luckily, MWI had the exact vanity and finish that we wanted. We told her that the vanity in their showroom was what we wanted and we were happy that MWI had a better price. After Amber filled out the order form, she showed us a picture of the vanity on a large computer screen. The screen showed the exact vanity that was on their showroom floor, the one we pointed to, and the one we told her that we wanted. However, after 6 weeks of waiting, the vanity we got was not the one we thought we ordered. Given that the monitor showed the same vanity that was on the floor, we had no reason to doubt Amber had ordered the right vanity. However, according to the manager, we shouldve looked up the catalog number with the picture on our own and it was not the stores responsibility.

Not a hardware store! Its a showroom!

This place is sort of hidden behind a kitchen and bath fixtures place, but it had a lot of hardware store stuff to the right and behind that is the actual True Value Hardware store. The woman at the checkout really knew her stuff. After striking out at Home Depot and Ace Hardware, she really came through with finding my somewhat obscure plumbing problem. Highly recommended, especially for plumbing supplies.

Great knowledgeable and friendly staff. Frank and Dave were helpful. Prices are very competitive.

While shopping at this store I heard Bill C. Got a $200 part for free, for the minor trouble he got. Checked out his YELP and all he has is negative things to say... Hhmmm... Makes you wonder. I had a great experience at this location. Thank you Standard Kitchen and Bath Showroom.

Its a bit obscure, but super handy to have a full service plumbing supply in point loma. With the true value hardware store as well it makes for a one stop shop.

Top notch professionals that really know their business. Its service like this you will never receive at the big box hardware stores.
