The guys at the shop are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Sam at the Napier store has helped me from germination to flower throughout my first season. Great people, pay your employees more, they deserve it, going above and beyond the call of duty every time. A+ only place i will go to for supplies.

Not a great experience coming to GrowGeneration for the first time today. Although a deep water culture system is fairly well known and standard, the employees were not well versed in the basics of it. The customer service representative was really high while on the job, and was not very helpful as a result. The airstones for sale were cracked in the packaging, which seemed to indicate a lack of quality control. Overall, its unfortunate that this is one of the only hydro stores in SD because its lacking, and not up on the latest grow technology or techniques.

Im rating this more as a garden center. As a hydroponics place its 5 stars. For my general gardening though it doesnt fit my needs. Not really any hose menders or trowels or anything of a more conventional lineup. Even though this place is walking distance for me, I have to truck it to the big box stores to get the more basic items. The staff is super friendly and I really like the vibe of the place. As I stated already, It just doesnt meet my needs for a garden center.

Friendly guys everytime I drop by, the prices are decent considering I usually need things right away as opposed to paying and waiting for shipped items elsewhere. More often than not, they have what I need to care for my plants and greenhouse! Pots, potting materials, and trays, etc.

I’m not the best of the best customer but I prefer to buy products on the store than Amazon with lower price or not or any other website and today I went to Napier St and I parked my car in front of the store and I saw on guy get out of the store but had a the table to block the entrance and this was my third time after Covid regulations and I’m waiting in front of the table about only one minute to talk to the guy what I needed and after 2 more minutes I saw the lady getting out of the store with a couple bags (she was not on the cashier all this time around 3 ) and I asked for the guy if’s possible to go inside the store to see and buy and the guy told me only for pay (weird) and after a couple minutes the guy called me to coming inside the store to pay. Ok, after pay the next customer after me went inside the store and I checked where the guy went and he didn’t went to the cashier, he went inside the store to shopping. Very disappointed !!! I never had any problem before but now I’ll prefer to order online if’s possible.

Oh where to start.... They know there stuff. If you tell them what your doing you will be amazed when they tell you not to spend 500 on this and get that for 120 and it will work just as good. Returning customers get a discount which is always great, everything helps! Knowlage is great in the store, everyone seems to know whats up and not just a sales guy. Very happy I walked in this business because they have a new lifetime customer!

They just double charged me and the discount I’ve had for years is now NON-Exsistent........ they said they voided the transaction like it never happened.Called my bank and the charge is still on my card........ now I have to dispute it!!!!Something changed recently and for me spending $50,000 before on the same account I’m getting screwed now?Please take my advice. Find a new store. These burn-outs are a joke.

Im wondering why these other reviews talk about their low pricing???? For starters none of their prices are clearly marked(BBB issue?) and I figured out that its because they try to pull a fast one over you...dont belive me? ask for a price check on a product and casually ask someone else. One positive note, they do carry a wide variety of products and supplies.

This place is the go to hydro shop in the beaches area for San Diego, they have other locations all over the county. If you are spending more than Pocket Change they give you great deals that make it worth just buying from them versus the internet and hunting down deals. Ask them when theyre sales are because the deals that are insane!

Well This is my second time in this shop. I really like these guys. I space out sometimes... Im generally an online guy. But these prices are truly hard to beat when you shop with these guys. The only disappointed is first time I was there I should have took the advise sooner to switch to Rockwool cubes and liquid nutrients but i space out man. Im pretty novice to growing hydroponic much cleaner no knats and no larva is a major plus slowing growth.I will not be doing indoor organics again do to knats. Pots and rotting organics make a huge target for knats inside. With new set of needs Im confident that they know what Ill need during veg and bloom . Feels like family/home. This has been a dream of mine sense I was very young Thanks guys.
