First of all Twice the Ice is not a restaurant unless of course all you eat is ice and drink is water. Hahaha. However it has Twice the Ice of any other place to get ice I guess. Twice the Ice is simply an automated 24 hour a day filtered water and ice Cube dispensing station. Located centrally in Clairemont off of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard at the intersection of Diane it is right inside the Diane Shopping Center parking lot. You can bring your own cooler and fill it with ice or fill bags with ice. Bring your own containers to be filled with the filtered water. Really convenient when you just need ice and dont want to go into a store or when stores are closed. Very popular in the mornings when people are off to go to the beach or camping or fishing or for any outdoor activity where you want to keep something cold.

No block ice although google maps indicates it does

This place is awful for water!!!!Do not use ... always takes our money... Owner always say he will fix it and never does.. never offers to pay the money back.... BEWARE!!!

Cheap way of getting ice quick. 40 lbs for $5 is a good deal.
