We bought 2 fans at the Clairmont location in the early 90s. As I lay here in bed I realize it is silent, we use every night, never had a problem and I never left a review! We got the old fashioned non remote.

Super helpful staff. They greeted us immediately but let us wander to or hearts content and answered all of our important and not so important 🙄 questions. In the end we didnt see what we wanted but when we explained it they were able to go directly to it in their mountain of catalogs and we ordered our fan.

Fan Diego probably has the highest amount of choice in the greater SD Area.Almost every fan they carry requires a remote control, so if youre just looking for a simple on/off chain style fan youre better off somewhere else. They offer light combinations too, so you can customize your fan to your hearts desire.

Great place to see fans different than the big box stores, they have been in business forever. I purchased 2 fans in 2004 and they were able to order the identical one for a room addition in my house!! Thx

As far as I know this store has the largest selection of ceiling fans in San Diego. They also beat Lamps Plus prices on most of the products that I compared.The staff is very knowledgeable, and willingly helped me with my fan needs.

We needed a receiver for our Minka Aire ceiling fan. Rob was so extremely helpful, and gave us step by step instructions on how to install the receiver without disrupting the function of two other fans in our home. Prior to turning on the fan, we made a call to confirm that the steps taken were correct. He went over and above great customer service. The next time we need new lighting or parts we will certainly visit Fan Diego. They have an outstanding fan selection.

The owners were great and patient. They took my son through their store and let him play with the remotes.

Fan Diego is an excellent complement to Lamps Plus for ceiling fans. Where Fan Diego excells is in fans that are stylistically unique and technically advanced (ie, new DC motors that are incredibly efficient). This style and energy efficiency can entail a bit higher price, but staff will sometimes work with you; staff comped the sales tax when I bought the first of a new fan line. Hihly recommend Fan Diego if you are looking for something unusual.
