After 20+ years of sitting and working at a desk, and the back pain that often comes with it when you do it wrong, I reached out to Pacific Ergonomics to help outfit my home office in North County San Diego. I knew I needed a solution that got me standing at the desk. What I didn’t know was that I had the wrong chair and was even sitting in it incorrectly, which caused some problems. Annie was not only super helpful, but also patient with me because I had some pretty specific requirements for my setup, not to mention a ton of questions! She was a wealth of information and really helped guide me to the right combination of gear to address my ergonomic challenges. After meeting with her and going through some options like laptop risers, monitors, etc., I decided to get the L-shaped sit to stand desk in addition to the Cardinal chair, and some accessories like monitor arms and ergonomic mice. The delivery folks arrived right on time and installed everything in about an hour. Everything was exactly as expected. The chair is really comfortable and has a ton of support for my lower back. This was a rare and very welcome find in my search for a better fitting/ergonomic chair! Their team was so knowledgeable and patient as I sat in several chairs. So much so, that my husband ended up buying one too! And compared to other retailers I had researched, Pacific Ergonomics has much better quality and MUCH better pricing. I was lucky to be there in person, but I think its really cool that they can fit you virtually and have so many ergonomic items beyond chairs!
