So easy! I was so fortunate to have found this place. I was bummed when a mechanic told me it would cost 3k ++ to get a new hybrid battery. I almost gave up on the car haha. I almost couldn’t believe the online price because it was so cheap, $950 but when I saw they have an actual shop here in San Dimas I was stoked. I called and ordered the battery, by the next day the shop called me that they had it and was ready to schedule my install. They were so accommodating the day I was supposed to come in cuz my car gave out and wouldn’t drive that morning. I called to let them know, they came to my house so fast! Checked that the battery indeed needed replacing and installed in 2 hours. I would recommend this to anyone with a hybrid. Couldn’t have been easier honestly. And you can’t beat the amount of money saved!

On after 15 years and 233K miles the little Prius finally put up the RTOD....Red Triangle of Death!The H.V. -Traction Battery died. Fortunately, I have been researching this eventuality for several years. well, since I purchased the Prius.I took it to our local independent shop for confirmation of my diagnosis and they said that they wouldnt work on it if it was the battery.After their diagnosis they changed their mind and said they would put in a Toyota H.V. Battery for $2,800 with $2K being the cost of the H.V. Battery from Toyota.I called GreenTec Auto March 16th. I have been aware of them and researching for several years and scheduled for their local representative to come out to install their replacement H.V. Battery completely refurbished with new cells and bus bars. Gustavo arrived the next day when scheduled and 2 hours later he was done and, on his way, back to San Dimas. He was excellent.So, for $1,800 the little Prius is back on the road running nearly like brand new.

5 Star Recommendation and here is why:Made the appointment on my 2007 Prius. The mechanic came out to my house and installed the complete R/B inverter in my garage on the date and time of the appointment. The install took less than 2 hours by an excellent mechanic. He was very thorough and knew exactly what to do. I had my garage all setup with plastic so no antifreeze spills. One of the local Toyota Dealers quoted $4,860.00 for a new inverter plus $562.00 to install and another two weeks to get parts and to install it. Needless to say, the price from Geentec Auto was less than 1/5th of that in total, thus saving a lot of time and money. Very Well Done.

Had a great experience with Greentec. They had a battery at a 1/4 of the price of the manufacturer and came to my house and installed it too. Top-notch service from a fantastic auto shop. My car runs like new!

Update* 12/8/2020Battery had issues a couple months after install but they came out and reinstalled another one, I purchased a 4 year warranty but i would make sure u get the correct warranty for your risk tolerance. Currently the battery is still working fine.Had the mobile service done with the 4 year unlimited mileage warranty for a battery install. Toyotas price was 3800 w/o labor and Greentecs was 2500 with an installer that would drive to you. Both services offer brand new battery cells which is why Toyota was willing to price match. Toyotas warranty coverage was 3 years at 36k miles total while Greentecs is unlimited millage for how ever many years you buy (max 4) I believe this is an easy decision. I only had to wait 2 days to schedule my installer and he brought the battery + took the old one. He made sure I was comfortable w/ the install and made sure that I got a test ride before he left, he did seem in a rush at the end though. I will update in a year to give the condition of my battery or if any problems arise.Thank you for the timely service

I went there as I was told it may not br the battery but the inverterI asked if the stock batterys and inverters and was told yes on the phone then when I arrived at the site confirming it was the inverter but they did not stock then and I would have to call phone number and order for two week waitI dont see this is good service

My online Rep at Greentec Auto in San Dimas, CA was wonderful! Silvia was very patient with me and answered ALL the many questions I had (over several phone conversations, btw). I was nervous setting up an appointment online without meeting someone in person but Silvia walked me through the process and (as she said) it all went smoothly. On the actual date of install, two mechanics arrived on time and went right to work. The install was done quickly and efficiently in my driveway! They drove up in a hybrid car which immediately instilled a feeling that they believed in and used their product. They did a diagnostic (included in the price) to make sure it was the battery that needed changing and wasnt some other problem causing the batter to die. They test drove the car to make sure it ran and left nothing behind on their way out. The Prius is up and running like a champ! Thank you Silvia in San Dimas, CA and my Greentec mechanic, Ivan & Mark out of Kent, WA!
