Close to my home, and I shop here quite a bit. The staff are nice and friendly. Although it is a small market but has quite a lot of stuff from brand name to their own brand. The meat is the best quality. It might not prime, but I am good with this. We bough meat for prime rib, and meat was very tender. Not once, but few times. Same for ground meats or chicken. Also check out for beers, and liquors section.

I am a stater Bros customer when possible, but the only one close to me is in Azusa. I live in Glendora and could o ly hope that eventually one would b around this area. I love the products and the prices.

Ive been going to that exact store for about 9 years, I have talked to quit slot of workers there and only about 1or 2 sort of remember me and my husband. Other than that the is pretty good, doesnt always have what you need. But really no real complaints.

The people at this market, that is to say, the staff are the number one redeeming quality for this store. Unfortunately, though the staff are kind it does not save the day. For a line of markets that was known far and wide for their meat quality, this store is sadly lacking. Often the meat is discolored and obviously past its prime yet still over priced! Another problem is there is a definite bad odor that hours you when opening the fridges in the dairy section. Not a good sign. I wouldnt bring any of this up if it happened a few times and was then fixed. Unfortunately these issues have been endemic to the store going back at least the last year that Ive noticed. I still shop here, daily but only for convenience and rarely if ever for meat.To reiterate the staff are WONDERFUL. Im not sure what the root of the problem is but I highly doubt it lays with the hardworking employees. I am hoping that someone from corporate or management will read this and know its meant kindly and in hope that these problems can be fixed.Whatever happened to corporate secret shoppers? Was that every an actual THING, or just a fairy tale told by upper management? The bogeyman of retail?

Sure, prices may be lower at BIG Box stores like Costco, Sams Club, WinCo and a few others. But, the friendliness of staff, the cleniness of store plus the quick n easy transaction process goes quite a long way in my book. Support your long standing, tried & true local grocers and it will pay off for us all.

Its not Trader Joes or a gourmet deli, but you can find many items or already prepared foods (Panera for instance) as well as a large selection of the grocery store standards. Produce includes many organic grown items and you have your choice of several types of eggs including free range. Always good selections at extremely competitive prices. Convenience and finger tip selection at the size (not big box member store) and price for shopping on a budget.

I really am sick and tired of throwing money down the drain when it comes to buying produce at this Stater Bros. I have bought bags of lettuce that expire long before the date on the package; navel oranges that go rotten in a short amount of time, and today I threw away an entire watermelon because it was awful tastin . It was so disappointing. I shop at Stater Bros twice a week, and spend a sizable amount of money, but I done wasting money

Had to tell courtesy clerk to bag my item not just put into my cart. I had two bags. They need to be trained proper bagging techniques. Problem every time I go in there. One register open.

Not to happy with this market, 1st I couldnt find what I was looking for, 2nd Long wait in line to check out, 3rd Only 1 register open, 4th The Cashier Wasnt Friendly At All. This was at night and there were plenty of workers there but they seem more interested in talking to each other.

Redid market. Have been going there for 40 years and it has always been agreeable. They seem to always have what Im looking for. While store looks better theyve made the lanes too long.

I left my neighborhood Stater Bros Market to try out Walmart Super Center. Yup, lower prices, everything under one roof. Right around the corner where I live. That lasted for about a year. Every visit left me drained. If I was in the food section and realized I needed shampoo or my lady products, I had to go to the north forty to get it.My 85 y.o. mother said she couldn’t take it anymore. So back to Stater Bros we went. The handicap parking was extended to more spaces. The walk from one place to another was without effort. We weren’t winded. No naps afterward. We found what we needed. EVERYTHING WE NEEDED! Prices could be adjusted. But it felt good to be back. Like visiting an old friend. No kidding. No more Walmart. Thank you Stater Bros. For welcoming us with open arms. Clean store. Friendly staff. We’re home!❤️

One of the better priced stores around.. I go here a lot . W only one complaint.. the new butchers, specifically the younger ones dont have to same customer satisfaction application as the ones before..it seems they would rather point you to the pre wrapped section vs. walking to the back

What a great store, Tony helped me with a few things I needed

Today while shopping the the vegetable area of the store, I heard one of the employees a girl talking to a customers about politics. The employee at the stater bros was telling the customers, I dont want anymore people coming to this country, and we shouldnt allow any refugees entering our country. As I got closer, to get some vegetables, she just gave me a rude look, and didnt even move out of the way and kept staring at me. It made me feel very uncomfortable, I called the store manager and told him what I had experienced, and he didnt seem to care, and was just trying to get me off the phone, and said yes, I will talk to her and hung up, the conversation barely lasted less than a minutes and he hung up. So sad.
