Dirty with many flies trapped inside. Listed prices are higher at the register. I would not buy produce or cooked food here, or visit if Im in a hurry, since the store may open late and the line gets long with one tired person trying to do all the jobs.Buuuuuuut, there is a good assortment of Indian and Middle Eastern herbs and spices at decent prices, even with the register increase.

1 star for bad cashier experience. This review pertains to the cashier lady with short hair . When I went to checkout, she was busy talking to her colleague and didn’t even make eye contact. When she was done scanning items, I inserted my credit card and I waited some time before she told me insert again. She did not even tell me how much my total was . After checkout, I checked my receipt and she had ringed an item twice .I understand it might be by mistake but when I went to show it to her, she did not even say sorry or acknowledge her mistake and still kept talking to her colleague and told me to insert my card again so she can refund me, all this while not even making eye contact she kept chatting with her friend. AND this is not the first time this has happened.

Its a good clean Indian grocery store. Not very basic but a good range of Indian spices, fruits, breads, vegetables, dough, flours, etc. available.

Great clean store, carries fresh and frozen vegetables and groceries from India and some from other Asian countries. The owner and his family are all very knowledgeable and helpful. Added bonus, India sweets is next door to satisfy the vegetarian Indian food junkie. Always good and fresh. One stop shopping for all your Indian needs.

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful grocery store in our neighborhood. I have been buying groceries here for many years and have found the staff very friendly and helpful. They take great precautions during these Covid days making sure that the regulations are followed.I definitely recommend this place! 👍

Good place, all u need for a just price

Nearest Indian grocery around and most optimal for weekly purchases. Big in space, good stock of items, replenished regularly. The store management is courteous, always helpful and ensures the availability of all the food items, and taking adequate Covid precautions.

The lady who served me has great catching skills, plus she was very nice 🙂

Trinethra - San Jose is our go-to store for Indian groceries. Staff and Store Manager are accommodating and try to go out of the way and help the customers. They are doing a great job keeping the community safe by taking all the appropriate COVID 19 measures.

Very clean, organised and easy to navigate store. Lots of parking. Produce is fresh. Spices, condiments, pulses all available here.

Have good stock of items and maintained nice

Great selection, including frozen goods, fresh fruit and vegetables. We got some awesome mangos here too. Shop is setup for social sustaining and everything was smooth. Great to have them in the neighborhood.

Not a big store for all kinds of indian stuff. But the veggies are real good and always in a fresh condition.

Not sure how this place has high ratings. They had limited options for anything. No prices up for any of the items, so you can’t compare prices. The cashier gave me attitude because my hands were full holding my bags and couldn’t put the shopping cart outside. She followed me all the way out of the store to tell me not to come back. Don’t worry, I was already not planning to come back. As if the lack of quality in items and horrible condition of the store wasn’t enough, the customer service was the worst!

Even if they had restrooms, they don’t allow customers to use it. We had to spend an extra 30 minutes to drive to neighboring coffee shop to use the restroom. Terrible customer service.

I found all groceries I am looking for. It is fast and good customer service. I recommend any one to go here and they will find all the items they are looking for.

This was our go to Indian store. Amid Pandemic, they have taken advantage of scarcity of groceries. They have increased the price during national emergency which is unlawful. The quality of the food has gone down. The dates were outdated and had fungus. The spices like Garam masala, ammchur and cumin powder taste like they are adulterated.When you call them to report these issues you can see lack of professionalism.They have also avoided CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19, which is completely unethical.

Everything from disorganized grocery items to extremely rude employees. Cashier (who billed mine) especially was too impolite. Felt as though I was taking stuff for free.For sure needs training!!Place by itself was maintained well.

Such great view from this park once you get on top! We came right around the sunset time and it was beautiful. This to me is more of a park for ones to read or have a picnic at, not very ideal if youre wanting to exercise. Other than that, would come again!

My go to grocery story. One stop shop with a top end deli and a fine selection of Liquors. Friendly staff and good pricing.

One of the best grocery shop in Bay area.you get fresh veggies always! And the range of vegetables is too good... This is a sure shop visit in iuor Indian community.

Many items are not fairly priced compared to other Indian stores. They are atleast 20-30% higher on their prices. You dont find price tags for most of them .Vegetables are not fresh, all of them get spoiled in maximum 2-3 days. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

The store is poorly maintained. The frozen vegetable sections are missing most vegetables, they never have curry leaves in stock, and the same applies to many other items.

Convenient Indian groceries as theyve expanded into two shops with neatly arranged shelves. Mexican laborers constantly replenishing stuff. A very good collection of ready to eat/cook frozen delicacies too

Big fan of trinethra. They have four branches across town and are incredibly customer friendly. The owners are now good friends. The Pearl avenue location is managed by Dimple who is very helpful to work with.For folks in the Almaden valley and Cambrian park neighborhood, this is the closest and most convenient Indian grocery store.

Decent place, staff is friendly. Most of the Indian groceries, snacks, and sweets are available here. They even have special items for Indian festivals.

This is our family-grocery-store for the past 10+ years. Previously it was called Kumud, but now taken over by the Trinethra chain. Ms. Dimple-ji has been the store manager, and is still retained probably because of her experience and the rapport with the clientele.That said, the produce, especially Indian, are quite good and the quality maintained is good overall. The personnel are quite friendly and helpful.For anyone living in and around Pearl Avenue this is one of the best places to have affordable and fresh produce. Sorry, no meat ☺️!Service is extremely fast and reliable. I would recommend anyone living within the periphery of 5 miles can certainly avail of thr goods. It is also visited by customers from other nations.

Our to go grocery store for fresh vegetables etc. The rates are way better than big grocery stores like buckys and gafeway:) usually get a ton of stuff for about 50 bucks total V. 90 at the big chain grocery stores. I compared overtime, that this place is quite expensive as compared to other Indian stores specially Indian cash and carry. I usually shop here, if I have couple of items to pick.

Store staff could be more helpful in helping find certain items in the store since it was our first time there instead of just pointing to the aisle. stood there looking for the item asked for until I came across a familiar face I know in the store (customer, not staff) who helped me. While browsing through their aisles looking for ajwain seeds, found a few things on their shelves that had expired in 2017 still for sale on the shelves. bad practice? upon checkout, had to wait for the two cashiers to notice I was there to pay, because they were so immersed into their conversation. ugh... so tired of this kind of business etiquette. not coming back. better to go to bharat bazaar or the desi market...at least there they actually let you know they value your business.

Same as any other Indian bazaar in the Bay area. Less time for billing . Caveat : check expiry dates on most of the things before buying. I found a lot of stuff 1-3 months left before expiry.
