Sally Beauty has been my go-to place for all of my hair care needs, for at least 20 years, and this location has become one of my favorites. The customer service is fantastic, which is a rare commodity these days.I had called 3 other locations before this one,, and nobody had the items I needed in stock. I called this store,, (prospect Ave, San jose, ca) and the sales associate knew exactly what I was looking for, as well as how many they had in stock. Her customer service was absolutely perfect over the phone and in store. Whenever Im in town, this will be the location I go to from now on.

I called the manager before driving there (40 min drive from home). I needed a $2 item that I couldnt find anywhere else. I arrived there at 6:00 and the shop was closed. She was inside and refused to help me even after explaining I had to drive 40 minutes to get there. I understand you close at 6pm and you might not care about my struggles, but as a human being to another you have no compassion or sympathy for someone who was less than one minute late. I just wonder how you would feel if this happened to you. I always though that doing just a little bit for the person next to you makes us live in a better society.

This store was out of the conditioner I use. The cashier looked up the item online for me. The employees at this Sallys are always very helpful and friendly :)

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and able to advise you as to the best products for your hair, skin, etc. Small shop, but has a lot of stuff packed into it! I personally love the wide array of hair dyes. I would also highly recommend joining the rewards program as you instantly make back your $5 fee with a free gift & it gives you discounts on many products.

Definitely a Sallys fan. Helpful staff and found a few last minute Christmas gifts under $5. Find the parking lot behind Sallys for quick access and less parking stress.

Shop is easy to navigate through, girls are nice and helpful. Never had an issue with returns and the ladies always helped my hair needs. Not too crazy about the location bc the store IS in the corner of a fairly busy shopping center. Sallys sits in between two big grocery stores so parking is hectic and theres people everywhere. However Im rating strictly on the Sallys store itself and not the location.

Random closure in the middle of the afternoon. Literally at the door when she locked and posted a handwritten sign that said she would be back at 3. She just shrugged and said “sorry”. All I can say is WOW!It gets better- at 3, she unlocked the door, took the sign down and turned around and walked away. I was standing at the door! No acknowledgement, didn’t open the door or anything!Sorry, ladies, there needs to be some serious customer service training here. I for one will find another location to frequent, somewhere that I feel my business is appreciated.

The staff lady who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped me pick out what items I needed to dye my hair and gave me all the proper instructions. Very patient and overall great experience.

Great hair color options. If you are a pro or semi pro and need quality products, toner, etc. not just hair color in a box, go here.

Ripoff. Run Away! Got overcharged $14 for Andis clippers and accessories, relative to their website prices.
