My father placed an order for my birthday. Everything came as described, but no ice left when I finally picked it up. Much better than cheapo stuff I normally buy.
My mother in law purchased one of their box sets as a Christmas For our family, it wasn’t bad but certainly not high-quality, but much appreciated.This year she ordered it again the quality was terrible! The hamburgers were off colored and had an old smell to them. The chicken breasts are very small and on the tough side. With quality meat becoming readily available at your local stores I’d recommend going that way instead of ordering from Omaha steaks. The quality is not consistent especially for the money, I could buy organic or grass fed /grass finished beef locally.
Dont order steaks from Omaha.We finally received the shipment after 5 days of delayed. I did not bother to open the cooler, as the smell was so bad that I immediately put the box in the trash bin. I did not bother to take any picture as well, as I dont want to get myself sick. I guess you can imagine after five days without proper treatment how the items would look like!!!!When I asked about where was my steaks, the lady said they were out of stocks two items and therefore did not shipped them out!!! Then the lady said she agreed to reshipped some items plus a refund of out of stock items $55.15 and a $125 gift card. I paid $155 for the items excluded the $25 voucher that I used for this order. So in order, I paid $180 for this order. So I waited for another four days for the new shipment arrived. It didnt arrive. So I called again, then another lady said the replacement shipment was out of stocks, so they cancelled the whole order and refund only $55.15 plus a $125 gifts card without my consent. During the conversation, the lady cut me off, so my husband called them again ...anyway a very bad experience as I have need their customer since 2016. I am disappointed not because of the out of stocks items but I have to called to find out what was going on. They could not even bother to call or email to inform me about the situation. Well, I guess they dont care about losing one loyal customer.
1st Time Trying out Omaha’ Steaks Omg The best Ever!!! My Husband & kids Love it. If you didn’t enjoy them it’s Not the meat “ It’s the Person that cooked it! FYI put it on the Smoker it’s so yummy 🤤 and the customer service was great .
I am terribly dissapointed purely in my order as Ive not tried the food I did receive yet. Ive seen their publications for years but never pulled the trigger until a week or two ago when I came across a special rate that included 4 burgers.When I called with my special code the young lady read everything but the burgers so I stopped her and confirmed I also get the burgers, correct? To which she said yes.....Received my order, boxed nicely, but no burgers.Called back the next day and a different woman noted there are no burgers with the special and asked if I have the flier, but it was a newspaper insert, tossed long ago.Nothing she could do in that case she said.
If I could have left a review with zero stars I would have! We’ve had ongoing issues with Omaha steaks for several weeks including tough steaks, a gift card they sent us and now an order that they claim was our error. Yes, my husband ordered what we thought was the “Bountiful Gourmet” we saw on their website.Turns out there are 3 Bountiful Gourmet packages. Who names 3 different packages the same thing? At the very least they should have named them Bountiful Gourmet 1,2 and 3 so that the customer was aware there were three options. Yes, each one lists the products. But when you only see one option pictured on the website why would you think there was more than one option??? I spent half an hour trying to find the option they sent us and couldn’t find it! Needless to say, we will never order from this company again. No great loss. The meat is nothing special and they’re over priced. Lesson learned. Buyer beware!
We are quite happy with our order so far. They arrived still frozen and with dry ice remaining and after we thawed a couple of bacon wrapped filets we threw them on the grill for 10-11 minutes and they came off perfectly medium rare. They arent huge but thats a correct portion folks, we had some asparagus and cottage cheese with them and it was perfect size. We ordered 24 bacon wrapped filets and 12 sirloin steaks and received 8 hamburger patties for free. Will be ordering more.
Horrible customer service, lost orders, and no response when I asked for a refund. Totally ruined a Fathers Day gift by not delivering and leading me on a wild goose chase trying to hunt down the package. I had to submit a fraud claim to my bank to get my money back. I cant believe this company is in business with this kind of thing happening. Theyre taking advantage of people in need of food delivery during the health emergency...Disgusting!
The bacon wrapped filets are good, though they mostly just taste like bacon. We were disappointed to find a bit of fat or grisle in most every bite. At $10 for a 4oz s steak, thats not many bites. I recommend slicing very thin and serving atop a Caesar or Cobb salad. Makes a delicious meal.
The butchers are always helpful when I have questions about how to cook or prepare something. Also, the prices are very fair. Far better quality and lower prices than somewhere like Whole Foods. The only problem is that their hours arent that convenient for me so Im not able to go there as often as Id like. I wish they could open a little later.
To keep it short and simple don’t waste your time and money. I ordered a box in very early March, with a delivery date of March 23rd. They moved the delivery date 4 times, and finally set on April 7th. They told me it was so they could coordinate with the delivery company. The first box was sent and got stuck in a FedEx facility. FedEx threw the box away due to it being rotten. I called and asked for a new box, which they gave along with a $10 gift card because they were out of something that was in the box. The women on the phone told me it would be here on the 16th of April. I called on the 14th of April to make sure it would be here and they told me they moved the shipping date again to April 23rd. I ended up canceling the order due to the fact it had been a month and a half since I originally ordered. Customer service was as helpful as they could be, but they didn’t respond to any emails.
We went in the Omaha Steaks store front for the first time. We had previously ordered online, however, we live right next to one and decided to place an order with a deal we got through the mail. Royce was amazing! We were not only able to walk out with our order, we also got the chili verde skillet and chicken breasts for $1!! What an amazing deal! We vowed that we will always go through the store front. I wish we could have Royce help us out all the time! He was such a joy to work with from beginning to end! 100% deserves a raise.
Excellent customer service and quality. You can taste the difference. The only reason I dont give them 5 stars is pricing. Although you will find sales, sometimes great sales, their prices are high and actually feel inflated at times.
I bought Christmas presents here. The lady that helped me was delightful and easy going. They have lots of meat in their freezers to choose from. I bought a package they were advertising. They set it up to arrive at Christmas time. Simple and easy present. Plus, I hope it helps my daughter make ends meat! 😄
Our first order just arrived and to be honest I was hesitant to place an order because of our somewhat remote location and the product arriving still frozen. The shipping tags says the order was shipped on 12/10/17 and got to us on 12/13/17 at 12:30 pm. I briefly opened the box and inserted a thermostat prob and closed the box back right back up and waited for the temperature reading to stabilize. Ill will admit I very pleasantly shocked at the results...15 degrees...WOW! Still a good sized chunk of dry-ice in the bottom of the cooler/carton. Now we need to decide what to thaw first...
The Filet Mignons are only a half and inch .Be careful cause it looks great on the TV offers but you wont get what they advertise.
It was sad we got our order and the steaks, Filet mignon was spoiled and been trying to call for the last 3 days and was on hold for over hour each time. Still havent been able to reach customer service for a refund or new order since my order was spoiled. If I could I would give them a zero stars because their customer service is terrible. And I wont order another item from them again. All I hear is thank you and we appreciate your Patience while be on hold for over an hour..I finally got in ouch with and they sent me a new order to replace the bad orders. And the meats was good. Thank you so much.

I have done business with Omaha Streaks for years. This year I ordered two packages for each of my daughters . I asked for the Christmas Delivery, but the order was shipped the next day. It is disappointing that a company that was outstanding has become one that doesnt care about the customer any more. Find another company that deserves your businesd.

I seen all the tv adds and couldn’t wait to get this pallet of premium beef, Bollox it’s skinny small vacuum packed frozen miniature cutIf you don’t believe me. Omaha meats should NOT be categorized as a Butcher Shop. It is misleading. There is no butchering that goes on there. It is merely a meat outlet store, (which is fine.) I was looking for a Butcher Shop where I could have my meat custom cut. I wasted my time looking at OMs site.
They have a big sale going on if you like to stock on frozen food.
1. Priced way too high for the quality2. Received something other than the ribeyes I wanted. They looked, cooked and chewed like they were a New York or part of a round roast, definitely NOT ribeye3. Filets were Amazing!4. Hot dogs - compared to store brand at $5.00 - I prefer the store brand (beef) rather than the ones received.Overall, I was disappointed and cannot recommend.Suggest USDA choice from any other place (except the filets. They were that good..( the price is still too high)
Horrible customer service. The package was delivered to the school across the street from our house. The woman from the school called Omaha to let them know they received it by mistake. Marco from customer service told her to take the package home with her so they wouldn’t spoil. We are now out over $70 because Omaha says our shipping address was wrong, on the order form online there is a box that I checked for our shipping address being the same as the billing. It was an error on their website that got one of the numbers off on the auto fill from billing to shipping. They won’t refund or re-ship. This is no way to run a business. I will be disputing the charge through the credit card company. Shame on you Omaha
Excellent service, excellent quality. While they are known for beef, they have some excellent seafood (stuffed sole) and deserts (apple tartlets). Just make sure you never pay close to full price - they always have sales and promotions, and it is pretty easy to get close to 50% off by timing your purchases with the promos. Check out their website before you go into the store, and this is one case where it might be worthwhile to get on a snail mail list (to get the promo maillings). They often have combo deals where you can get 60%+ off.
Ordered their package of 4 tiny filets.. 4 of chicken..pork..etc says 20 meals. Just very very small portions. Not worth it at all. Totally disappointed..
I ordered for the first time last week. When the pkg arrived and I saw the size of the items, I was disappointed but after try two of the selections I can only say this is pure garbage. I dont know how they stay in business selling such crap
