Quality repairs, and diagnostics of defective parts, quick work done on automobile stereos, or music systems, especially the high-end, imported European sound systems, as soon as the replacement parts come in, its installed right away, not many reliable stereo systems repairs in the area, it is best to call in ahead of time, estimates not done over the phone, til the part is inspected. Ive taken 2 high-end stereos for repairs, the work was quietly and efficiently done, highly recommended.

I live on the East coast and no one locally was able to repair the broken DVD player that controls the maps for my Navigation system. I shipped in to Short Circuit and within 2 days they called me with a very fair estimate and 2 days after that it was repaired and being shipped back. The were extremely pleasant to deal with and did a great job. I highly recommend them!

My Mom has a 1973 Sony turntable that needed repair. I looked for repair shops on google and everyone had such good things to say we decided to try it out. What a great surprise this place is! Joe is so friendly and very fair with pricing. Thanks Joe for making my sweet Mom so happy! I will bring my vintage equipment to you next!

My son shoved three DVDs into the DVD player in our car, and even after an hour of effort with tweezers and so forth, I couldnt get them out. Short Circuit was recommended to me by our local dealer. I told them about the DVDs jammed in the unit. They told me it would cost $40 to remove the unit, $40 to put it back in, plus parts and labors for the repairs. They said replacing the entire unit would cost $485. I told them to go ahead. The next day, they called me about it. They stated that the mechanism was fine, but the circuit board was bad (as well as a bunch of other technical details). They were very kind to make sure I understood that the circuit board is like a motor for a car, and thats why they had to replace the whole unit instead of just fixing it. And they told me it would cost $685. This was $200 more than I expected, so I turned them down. They told me I could come get the unit put back in the next day, after they had put it back together.I came in the next day to get it put in, and asked them where the DVDs were that had been in there. The DVDs were apparently still in the player, but they offered to get them out before putting the player back in my car. I asked them to just give me the DVD player, and Id put it back in myself. When I got home that night, I took apart the DVD player (it had a lot of screws). I saw the three DVDs lodged in there, and was able to remove them. Putting it back into the car proved to be a challenge, but one disassembled dashboard later, I had everything put back together.Lo and behold, the DVD player works perfectly. In short, I was asked to pay $765 to replace a DVD player that was fully functional.

Recently I had my 1988 BMW Alpine AM/FM/Cassette repaired and cleaned. Mark and his team of audio professionals did an excellent job in restoring the original sound and quality in record time. Best of all the cost for their work was competitive, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest and friendly company to work with.

Great people, kept in communication with me while my NAV DVD system needed repair on my 2004 Honda Accord (They service all makes and models of electronics). Happy with the service, and better/longer warranty than Alpine was going to give me if I sent it to them for repair.

So pleased I found Short Circuit! My navigation system quit working after an oil change. The dealership couldnt figure out what was wrong. I sent it off and Mark went over and above to make sure my system worked again when I received it back. Id send it there again in a heartbeat, but hope I dont need to!

Look up my original review under Nell BToday is my follow up visit to Short Circuit, the most competent and service oriented business to repair your car electronics. Mark really knows how to remove, repair and install your electronics and have them working like Brand New. I have a 2008 Mercedes S550 with 234,000 miles and the disk player in it would not play CDs and Videos. I am very very pleased with the workmanship, pricing and warranties. I want everyone to know that when you bring your electronics in for repair Tell Them that Mr. Bradley or James sent you.James BradleyIts been over a month Since I had Short Circuit Repair install my video in motion adapter by Naviks. I Love it! Now when my wife and I are on a 30 minute or more drive she can pop in one of her videos she likes an watch it while i drive to our destination. Short Circuit Repair did an oustanding factory plug in and play installation giving my 11 year old 2008 Mercedes S550 another luxury feature most cars don’t have today. Thank you Raymond, Mark and Wyatt for a professional and efficient installation. Short Curcuit Repair is the place you want to take your car for electronic service repair and tell them Mr. Bradley sent you and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed with their highly technical and professional work.

Had a malfunctioning unit, did my homework and purchased a replacement myself. Took it in to Short Circuit for installation/removal assistance and for their professional opinion. In and out within a few days and only had to pay a removal/installation fee. New unit works great and received old unit back.

I recently sent my MGB radio to them to check out, add an auxiliary port, and to touch up the face-plate. The estimate was made after I sent the radio to them, and I thought it was expensive, but I was committed since they had the radio, and I would be paying for shipping both ways. The face-plate refinish looks awful, worse than it did before I sent the radio to them. The radio in an MGB is very prominent in the middle of the dashboard, and the way it looks now, I am kinda screwed as I dont know if it can be remedied. And this service cost $300, which seems pretty costly. If they can redo it and it looks right, Ill gladly remove my negative comments.
