Delicious ice cream as always, generous portions. Flavors come from Treat Ice Cream, an old favorite in the San Jose area that has since closed down. Their floats were interesting, my friend got the dole whip float which was a swirl of dole whip yogurt filled with pineapple juice. Always a great spot to go to!

Came here on a Friday night and it was somewhat busy, with the line out the door. It moved pretty swiftly so no complaints there.Theres a plethora of flavors for ice cream, although not so much for froyo and custard. I got the peppermint stick in a peppermint sprinkles coated waffle cone. One of my friends got the pineapple froyo in a waffle cone and a second friend got the butterscotch custard in a cup.My ice cream was what I had expected it to be lol, minty and creamy goodness. The froyo got some bombass praise and the custard was alright. The delectable cheesecake bites on the custard were what stood out the most.Having seen this place on best places to eat ice cream at in SJ, I was a bit disenchanted. But yeah, I need to try some more flavors before I can say for sure if the hype is real or not.9/10 would go back again!

Have been coming to willow glen creamery forCouple of years now. They not only have tasty ice creams, but also great customer service. On our recent visit we had coke float and tip toe sundae/chocolate chip. Creamery is in also surrounded by other restaurants and food options. This is a go to place for ice cream 🍨 🍦

Simply the best frozen custard in the Bay Area, and not an outrageous price to boot. Just make sure to call or check their website to see which flavors they have if youre hoping for a specific one (lets be honest, youre hoping they have chocolate). Oh yeah, and good luck finding parking. Trust me, itll be worth it!

Last time I was in the shop with my kids, bathroom was closed and it was closed again for no reason. Of your bathroom is broken, where do your employees do their business? My wif quickly bought ice cream and could get any toppings because my 3 yr old peed on his pants.This place isnt as good, service sucks and I wont come back again

Excellent customer service, delicious flavors, and lots of options. The decorations were nice and quaint. Great place to visit for something sweet after dinner. Parking might be a little challenging, but its in downtown Willow Glen so might be able to find a spot on the street or parking garage. Theres also really nice outdoor seating outside of the place or in front of the water fountain.

Good ice cream. Long lines pretty much always and Baskin Robbins is right around the corner which says a lot about this place. People love it. The Strawberry Cheesecake shake is amazeballs.

We always get the Dole Whips from here. Kids have a dairy allergy so we’re happy they always have it available. Always friendly staff.

Amazing ice cream. Love Ricky road, pralines and cream, chocolate fantasy . They have about 10-12 flavors and many sizes and cones. Love the fountain area in front where you can relax and eat. Went during winter and covid time and was quite deserted so you could remove the mask and enjoy the ice cream and head back to car.

Came for dessert and it was wonderful. We had a large group and they got us all served quickly. The scoops were pretty big, imo the prices are a little high. The ice cream was great and the service was great too.

There are so many flavors to choose from, and the taste is absolutely fantastic, to the point that I had to return. The best ice cream in town, with great service, a wide variety of flavors, and a cheap price for what you get!

Wanted to give 4.5, but was not available and not exactly 5. The flavors are super scrumptious, but just appeal to a younger crowd with wacky colors rather than focusing on artisan/naturally derived flavors. It was nice that a fountain was outside to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

In addition to the expected flavors, there is a wide variety of variants, some of which are very uncommon discoveries, fantastic design, and friendly service:) The ice cream variety is very fine.

Good selection of Icecream. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes they get very crowded. There is no seating available in store but there is a courtyard outside with a fountain.

First time experience there was pleasant. I was taking too long to decide and asked for recommendations, the server politely suggested a few flavors and explained them. The fudge in sundae was good!

Employees are very cordial, good variety of topping and it is in a great location. Have gone to this place more than 10 times and always good number of customers. They have a card where they punch for each icecream you get and you get a free icecream after 10 punches :)

Willow Glen Creamery is bar none the best stop for ice cream, gelato and frozen custard in the area. The choices are numerous and after sampling 7 of the ice cream selection it is clear they have their craft mastered.The choices are smooth in texture, not too sweet and the flavors spot on whether having toasted almond, mint chip or one of the hardest to create . . . coconut.Portions are generous and a fair value to the patron. When in the area with a desire for a sweet cool treat be sure to stop by and see Matt or any other of the friendly staff.

A very yummy experience every time I go there, even if is a couple a week 😬, dont wonder about my weight 😁. They have a typical treat ice cream, frozen yogurt, (dairy free & sugar free) ice cream as well and the fun part is you can add different toppings as fruits, Oreo cookies, etc.The service is great and you can enjoy your treat on outside tables or by the water fountain there are some benches around.

Came here with my boyfriend and siblings late this Saturday night and Jenny was very understanding to my brothere severe peanut allergy and even went out of her way to offer to resanitize the ice cream scoop just in case. Thats an amazing quality of understanding in a crew member and the definition of going above and beyond. So cool and pretty, thank you Jenny and WG creamery!Also the scoops are huge and the line goes fast because one individual crew member sticks with each seperate party. Our favorite flavors include the ever so indulgent Chocolate Fantasy and a crowd favorite, the Marble Raspberry.

This place had very good shakes and a cute atmosphere. It was a bit small so as soon as more than 3 people got in line, it was tight and nearly leading out the door. A small redesign of the order to checkout path could make this a little more efficient for everyone on that. It was a little confusing on what they had available for anything that wasnt plain ice cream. The staff was very friendly and informative, though. I would very likely return here.

Its my second time to came on this ice cream place; it really didnt disappointed and Ive ordered two ice creams and they were with the best flavor ice creams for me; so unique. On my next visit, I will try other flavors. I will strongly recommend try this place if you want to try something unique ice cream.

The ice cream was good after a salty meal, but I wish that there would be more flavors. The cost for adding on certain additional toppings did not seem right to me, but there was definitely a better variety of toppings than ice cream.

After strolling the area and enjoying the beautiful day, my husband had to try this ice cream shop (especially since the line only continued to grow longer for the couple hours we were there!) Im not a big Ive cream fan and the best ice cream Ive had in the Bay area to date is the Cambell Creamery and C.R.E.A.M. so I usually use these two places as a kind of measuring stick. I have to say, this place far exceeded both of them! Not only do they have an abundance of daily flavors but they also offer a major selection of daily specials in ice cream flavors, smoothies, protein smoothies, fruit smoothies, generous toppings, shakes, waffle cones, dipped cones, cups, specialty desserts (think banana split and hot fudge sundaes)! What I love about this place is that you pay by the scoop (any of your choice can be combined) and its a flat charge of $1.25 for unlimited toppings! And they have the best of the best-nuts, cherries, sliced berries, whipped creams, caramel, hot fudge, chocolate and strawberry syrups, popular candy toppers like chocolate chips and gummy bears, cookie dough bites, many chocolate bar chunks, crushed cookies, the list just goes on and on! The customer service is excellent! They move quickly and make everything right there in front of you so its kind of entertaining. My daughter got 3 scoops in a cup (around $8 I think) of chocolate mint chip, cookie dough, and peppermint swirl. Peppermint was her favorite, but she LOVED all of them and said it was the best ice cream shes had out here in the Bay. My husband and I both got shakes-mine strawberries and cream and his was coffee flavored with whipped cream and a small drizzle of caramel. The place was clean, well kept, and every time I looked behind us, the line had grown a little more until I could no longer see the end! People love it here and, after trying it, I can see why! I only have it 4 stars however because we received the scoops in a cup to take home to my daughter and then had to wait almost 15 more minutes for our two shakes because it had gotten so busy. If I had known it was going to take that long, I would have had them make her ice cream last. It was pretty melted by the time we got home, but not too bad! She ate it up and savored every bite! Will definitely come back here again when in the area!

The ice cream here is absolutely amazing! Everyone must try the Toasted Almond ice cream. Theres so many different, tasty flavors that its hard to choose a favorite. I would recommend coming here near closing time, as they give a ton of ice cream to finish stuff off. I love this place!

I didnt know much about this place before I went but it was 85 degrees in Dolores Park and a perfect occasion for ice cream. Even though the line wrapped around the street it was SO WORTH the wait. The ice cream was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. Try as many flavors as you can, you wont be sorry.

I walk in, my son follows, the server greets him ignores me, we both order, she accepts my money, then looks at me strangely when I accept all my change back. 😟 Millennials just may never learn etiquette.A more recent event. My daughter walks in. Orders vanilla been and the server says they dont have it. She can see that it is there with her own eyes. But the guy argues with her. This place gets business because of location. Certainly not for the employees.

Support your local ice cream! Get the custard, vanilla on a cone. Its amazing. Toppings if you must, but the flavor on the custard is fantastic on its own.Forget those mix-in places, if you want great quality ice cream, go here.

This place epitomizes everything about Willow Glen. In a sea of frozen yogurt, you have this small local place that is out doing everyone by leagues!Recently reopened in their new store front, they are still doing what made them popular with locals. Serving delicious and unique ice cream and frozen yogurt. Tons of topping selections and cone varieties. Theyve also added a selection of cupcakes from Frost. Another local store.

It always busy on hot days. The staff looks overwhelmed but friendly and do a good job of keeping the line quick. The area around the place looks like it could use a deep cleaning. The vegan raspberry smoothie was creamy and delightly flavorful. Very good on a hot day.

The ice cream is hard to beat - definitely the real stuff, you can tell by how fast it melts even on a cool day. Yep folks, ice cream is in fact supposed to melt! Lots of great flavors, never been disappointed. Be prepared to wait a bit in line. Outdoor seating is available and its a nice place to stroll the streets too.

Lots of options and all delicious! Most recently I tried vanilla and chocolate cinnamon custard, it was delicious. Dont shy away from a kids size as their portions are enormous. They also recently got frozen yogurt, I havent tried it yet, but it looks tasty.

I decided to drop by this place since the creamery had a $5 off deal by paying with paypal.I ordered the 9oz vanilla custard, which was overly ambitious on hindsight once i received my order. The cup looked pretty small, but they tower it on like an ice cream cone. Id warn against ordering one for yourself because of its sheer size.The consistency was smoother, thicker, and melts slower than ice cream. It was very flavorful although a bit too sweet for my taste.

It was about 8:30pm and there were only a few people in line in front of us.The guy behind the counter was super nice -- we were a group of 4 and 2 of us were absolutely indecisive. The guy offered us various tastings and was extremely patient.I ended up with a small tart yogurt with heath and almonds. I wish I had gotten a fruit topping instead. It was good, but it wasnt outta this world.Hubs got a regular yoguart (vanilla) and I didnt particularly like it. It tasted too milky to me.If Im in the area, Ill come back here again, if not only for the reason of supporting small local business. Also, Id like to give their home-made ice cream a try. However, I probably will not go out of the way just to come here for yogurt and ice cream.P.S. - they have limited seating in the little patio area in the back. Luckily for us it wasnt busy and we were all able to grab a chair.
