If I could give this place a zero I would. Whoever eats here does not know authentic MEXICAN food. The rice was hard, meaning it had been sitting for a while. The meat( beef) was old, tasteless and dry. The kitchen, crowded and dirty. Now the nail in the coffin, the beens. They had a particular sour taste, meaning they were spoiled. And they charge the premium, most expensive taqueria in the area. Do yourself a solid and go elsewhere, anywhere but here.

We had delicious rice and bean burritos. The price was good for the size. This is a liquor store as well as a takeout taqueria so get your adult beverages to enjoy with your meal!

Not your typical liquor store, they have a taqueria in there too. So you can get a pack of smokes and a burrito in minutes. And the food is so good. The guy at the register is pretty cool too.

This place has the best carne asada tacos and burritos in San Jose. The the lengua is really good too. To look at it you wouldnt think that but this is the place to go for great tacos and burritos. Forget La Vics and their orange sauce that people rave about for reasons that I dont know why. This place is strictly for to go orders. You might find some interesting people hanging around outside but dont let that bother you. You dont talk to them and they wont talk to you.

Its one of the best Mexican fast food restaurant that I have visited. Fast food may be the wrong term, maybe it would be best to say its Mexican food served fast. I recomend it, their pastor meat (marinated pork) is one of the best i have had in quite a while

For over 15 years El Rancho has been my neighbor. Coming home from school I would stop by and get a drink or chips. When Id go out and I wanted some tacos late at night, Id come here. The staff is pretty much all OG and are all super nice, so the 3 stars are not for service or the food. Over the years, however, its been too dangerous to visit this place at night. Ive seen some wild things happen (a group of people fighting right outside, while 3 guys stomp on someone on the ground). Its so sad to see my neighborhood falling apart.

Best feature is the in store Taqueria serves freshly made, delicious authentic burritos, fairly priced, fast service, decent location, not enough parking space. Basic living necessities, besides beer, wine and liquor. Lottery tickets, scratchers, and a small seating area for dining in.

This used to be an all time favorite, especially while at SJSU in the 1990s.But now their prices are unreal for tacos and burritos that have literally become 50% in size of what I remember them being some years back. Idk what happened, but its over 20$ now for a burrito and 3 tacos. Add another 5$ for a beer or soda... Theyre pricing themselves out of the college demographic. Get it together cabrone.Mario is the best guy though, but still, I think Im done here.....
