This place is 10x better then any other restaurant. I love the really cook mexican that they serve here. Its worth every dollar I spend there

The best burrito I have eaten outside of Mexico. I go back all the time for my late night cravings. I have never been disappointed. The food quality is always the same. EXCELLENT!!!

They must have hired new cooks, because the Carne Asada tacos were disgusting and flavorless. Also, whoever makes the Salsa now should be Fired. The original Salsa was the Best in all of San Jose...

Great whole tortilla tacos for less than 3 bucks. Like 2 tacos in one. Huge tacos salsa hella hot so becareful when ordering with Chile l. This chile is a no joke only for serious taco eaters

I lived down the street from there in Mc Creedy Ave. Used to work at the Whiz-Away store across the street(now el grullo). Moved to LA. Came back some years later. My uncle told me they had opened a little restaurant at Imperios market. Tasted the burritos, and they were bomb! In LA there are hundreds of Mexican restaurants, but let me tell you one thing: In that little store, they make the best burritos that I have ever tasted! All of my family agree. I always stop there every chance I get!

Best tacos on the east side of SJ. Been coming since a kid and despite the nostalgia aspect, best tacos found outside of Mexico and its in the liquor store. Asada tacos and tortas are the go to but dont think Ive been disappointed making the trek

OK, the store has two parts. its a liquor store and a taqueria. I dont care for the store. Its the taqueria I care for. you wont find it under restaurants because its not a restaurant its a taqueria. the best taqueria I found in san jose and believe me I ate at a lot of taquerias. this is what I call (a hole in the wall) kind of place. the best taqueria are hole in the wall places. well everyone has there flavor. Ive been eating there since I was a teenager you know shoulder tapping for some beer and cruise story & king. Orale, which translate to (all right!) friends and I would go there and grab a bite to eat. just remember when your out and about or after work and you want a quick bite for some good food stop by and order a taco or two.

Classic spot. Sells tacos and booze! Little on the raunchy side but tacos are decent. Grab your tall can and some tacos. Dont really like sticking around but sometimes Ill eat in the parking lot. 3 star just because of the area. Cant get away from this east side sj. Crazy traffic in this area too.

Taco expert here, Best Tacos in San Jose!!!, great quality meat, awesome delicious tacos, and burritos. The taste of the tacos are amazing, the salsa here is on fire 10/10. Tacos 10/10. The only downside is that they take cash only. I highly recommend this place to anyone. BEST TACOS IN SAN JOSE!!!!!!

Over priced liquor store with a very limited selection. They have an ATM, but its sometimes broken. Tacos are cash only.Tried to use a debit card when the ATM was broken to buy some items and they informed us that they charge a $2 fee for using a debit card. We said thats illegal. They didnt care until we suggested we will pay the fee, then report it to Visa that they are breaking their user license agreement. Cashier then decided not to charge the fee. Its not that we cant afford it, but it seems like they may be taking advantage of the mostly poor immigrants who live around here who dont have cars, and probably dont know that they can report them to the credit card companies. ATM use Im sure has a higher fee than $2 though.The good parts about this place: its open late, they sell liquor, not just beer/wine, theres a large parking lot and they also sell freshly cooked tacos. You pay for the tacos at the register and then bring your receipt over to the taco area. I thought the tacos were just okay but my friends liked them more.

There is only one word from which Id describe that place and thats TACOS. Im not so sure about the liquor itself other than it is small. Although, once you enter to the left of the liquor you will see a taqueria. They sell some of the most tasty tacos cooked just to the touch. If you arent much of a spicy person I suggest you order without sauce because they might be too spicy for you. For me they are the perfect amount of spicy, but everyone has their own taste buds. Try them out if your a taco lover although at night you might have to wait in a semi-big line. Its all worth it in the end.
