I like ths place. Food is good. Ppl are friendly. I go thr after wrk. Its cash only. Only down side. But visit n enjoy i do. Oh n its in side n out dinning.

Reasonably priced Mexican market with the standard produce youd expect to find like peppers for example. Also has meats including tripe for menudo. What I really like is their cooked food section. Their carnitas is very good.

I thought it was a great store,staff was friendly, customers think the white guy doesnt understand what they saying about him and his wife,by the way I do understand what they were talking about. But I will go back,I want to try the taqueria.

I ordered from the taqueria inside. Quesadilla was good (and big) as were the carne asada tacos. Wish they had Barbaqoa beef or carne asada for burritos but they dont. The 6 choices of meats are authentic not Americanized but I will give them a try soon. Service was good.

Hidden gem. The fresh vegetables are much fresher than Safeway or Nob HIll. Im not Hispanic, but it looks like they have everything you need for Central American food, including a meat counter. I shop there for fresh vegetables, and I pick up stuff when I run out.BTW, If you like to make corn bread, try using masa harina, instead of American grocery store corn flour.

If youre having a taco night, this is the place to get the meats for sure

My comment is for the ladies who work in the restaurant area so my two stars have nothing to with the store, mostly about their costumer service there I been going there for years and never had any problems ordering food just exactly the way I like it I’ve notice that these ladies that now work there talk among each other and complain to each other how I order my food that I had never had a issue with I come here because they prepare their food very well and not over priced I would recommend them to anybody but as far as those ladies customer service I’m reconsidering going else where.... bad attitude bad customer service . Far from wanting anybody getting fired but I’m almost positive that store manager doesn’t have meetings to keep his employees reminded about good customer service cause his store or her store would be nothing without his loyal customers .

A small Mexican market with a great butcher shop and small kitchen. The store is neat and clean with friendly staff. You can find all of your favorite ingredients for your next Mexican style meal including fresh salsas, cheese and condiments. There is a small selection of fruits and vegetables, canned food and fresh pastries.

I come today around 10:30 am to the meat produce and I saw guy come out from walking cooler w small bag off chicken dropped to the cutting board apparently to change the plastic bag after few min later he’s star cutting beef on top of same cutting board not washing or cleaning that’s crossed contamination

Im a firm believer (coming from one Hispanic to another) when they dont speak a lick of English you can EXPECT your food to come out delicious!!!!!! Had the cabesa and asada and both were delicious! They definitely let the meat speak for themselves.

Small mexican supermarket with good fresh meat selection and always everything you need to cook mexican dishes

This was by far one of the most disturbing experiences. I really hope the owner reads this before his employees keep doing this and he looses customers. As we were waiting for the ladies to assist us with the tacos we ordered, one of the butchers came to where the carnitas were, and in front of all of us used his bare hand and grabbed a piece of carnitas and put it in his mouth. It was disgusting, a Male that was in line got very upset and complained and when he said that the other butcher started to laugh. He just left very upset. I asked the lady for the employees name and she said its Eric, while this was going on we saw how one of the cashiers was joking around and throwing a lemon to one of the butchers. I really feel bad for the ladies that were serving the food. They didnt know what to say when the other customers got upset. Just so that you know this happened on Saturday 23rd around 4pm.

Great latino market. I Love the fresh and Panela cheeses, as well as the butchery. They do have meals as well.

Las palmas is a good place and to buy groceries to buy meat and everybody in there are really nice they do the best for their customers

They sell quite a variety of Mexican and Central American products, what I like the best is their prepared food section, they definitely have the authentic mexican food taste. Last time I went to the store I was surprised to find the mexican milk branded Alpura. My wife loves that milk, it tastes so fresh and as real milk should taste like, if you ever had fresh milk just out of the cow, I hope they keep selling it, a little pricey compared to the american brands, but the difference in the taste is like day and night. It is really good.
