What an amazing experience. The staff was professional and knowledgeable. The owner, Jim, whom I had the pleasure of meeting was witty and much more than just a salesman, if I could give this more than 5 stars I would!

Bought two sport coats styles that can’t be found in any large men’s warehouses or stores. They fit perfectly, and can be worn casually or for business purposes and I constantly receive compliments on looking different and elegant. Going back for more!

This is the worst suit company i have ever dealt with they ruined my wedding day by forgetting to send the grooms suit. But proceeded to give all my groomsmen faulty low end rentals. Having to have family go all the way out to San Jose to retrieve it the day of the wedding. On top of that they will fraudulently charge your card. So DO NOT give them your card info!!!

I have been going to Eli Thomas for over 30 years. I am quite happy with the selection and especially the quality of the clothing. I have been especially impressed with Jim Thomas, one of the sons of the founder Eli. I willingly pay a little bit more to get Jims advice and the assurance that the clothing I am buying is stylish and very nicely tailored. This store provides great service and I am happy that such a store exists in this challenging era for brick-and-mortar stores.

I have been a loyal customer for many years. Most recent purchasing experience, however, taught me that it is of critical importance to choose the right sales person to deal with. You may receive bad advice and utterly disappointing after-sales customer service if you fail to do so.Rule of thumb is to choose a sales person with extensive experience wearing suits, and shows sincere intention to keep you as a repeat customer.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Selection is fairly strong and the turnaround on tailoring has been quick (less than 1 week). Suits are moderately priced, shirts are a little expensive (+$150) but those that I have bought have been good quality. Highly recommend this spot.

We purchased a rather expensive suit years ago with a lifelong agreement that they would alter if weight was gained or lost. weight was lost... We will see if they honor their promise... Stay tuned!

Eli Thomas Menswear is what a men’s clothing store should aspire to be. The customer service is without equal. In a world of cookie cutter houses, stores and shopping malls, Eli Thomas and its selection of clothing is a welcome respite from the mundane and ordinary.

One star only because I cant give negative stars.Definitely not cheap. And the attention to detail is horrible at best.For my friends wedding we got our suits here. When I tried on the big pants I was told they fit great. I questioned the fitment of the coat but was told that my broad shoulders would make it difficult for a rental and I was okay with that.They did not have me try on the shirt or vest....Big mistake.Wedding day comes and the shirt sleeves are WAY short. Neck is WAY too small and to top it off, there isnt even a button. Pants were so big they were falling off all day (I guess I should have questioned the professional that told me they fit great. I was extremely uncomfortable the entire wedding because my pants were falling off all night (and they were adjusted all the way) and I had a safety pin holding my collar shut.On a positive note, I think they hit the vest spot on...I was not the only one in the wedding party with problems either. One guy bought his suit and the shoes literally came apart by the end of the night and his vest came ripped. Overall, dont take your chances on your special day.
