One of the better dealers I have come across thus far. From start to finish on the buying process and after sale service. The waiting area is also nice and clean if you need something minor.So far been pretty content with this dealer.Only thing that keeps it from a full 5 star is the overly expensive dealer model of charging full price (or more) for parts and accessories when you can get them cheaper from Mopars own Amazon shop.
The service guys were great. I had to get a new fob . . better sit down . . only $400 + I was looking for the 5 carrot diamond . . Ive looked several times . . Still cant find it .....

I love coming here to get my car serviced for anything -- oil change, tire rotation, recalls, car wash, etc. The service is always top notch, friendly, efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. They have a wonderful waiting area that is large, spacious, comfortable, and has great amenities. They have a children play room (to keep kids entertained), an office (for people who need to work in peace, lots of comfortable seating, magazines, high speed wifi that is very fast and reliable, complimentary Starbucks coffee/tea/hot chocolate, vending machines, and clean restrooms. There are beautiful plants indoor that make the space feel more light and natural -- they even have REAL OLIVE TREES INDOOR. There is lots of modern art to look at, including outdoor art sculptures. They make waiting very comfortable and relaxing for customers.I cannot say enough nice things about this place!
My husband and I went to Pismo for some scenery and ended up finding the perfect Jeep Wrangler we have been looking for. Vince and David got the job done! The service took 2 hours, but I couldnt be happier.It turns out that my brand-new Jeep Wrangler came due for its first service while Im visiting here in San Luis Obispo from Arizona.The folks at Cole are very responsive by phone and respectful and pleasant in person.When Evan called me back yesterday, he explained that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the service department is overwhelmed and appointments are few and far between. I told him that I understand that they are like most every other service industry in the country right now and I wouldnt mind waiting because I really need my oil changed before driving back to Phoenix. He advised that I get in early to avoid an extremely lengthy delay.I arrived early this morning and was 2nd in line prior to the service department opening. There were a few customers that showed up behind me who attempted to get service ahead of myself and the young lady in front of me. However, I was pleased to see the advisors explain the first-come-first-served concept!Jodi McGreggor was very pleasant to work with and further explained the current workforce shortage but said they do everything possible to provide quality service in a timely manner.I waited in the very comfortable customer lounge fully expecting to be there for a while considering I didnt have an appointment. But a couple of hours later Jodi came to inform me that I was good to go.Although I live in Arizona and probably wont visit this dealership again, I thought it was important to put a positive review out there. Often times people are quick to report the negative, but reluctant to share the positive.If my Jeep is ever in need of service while Im in SLO again, I feel confident knowing that Cole is available.Thanks guys!
Express Lube, what a joke. Arrived at 731. Walked up to a kesok, first guy sail do u have an appointment, no Express Lube. One of the other down the line will help u. Next guy was helping a customer, next on the phone, next doing paperwork. So I waited. 741 got checked in. Checked out at 1052. 3 HOURS. The couple of times Ive been there before they prioritized the people waiting over dropoffs and got us out of there timely. And still took care of everyone. Dont believe their website.Ive been to competitive dealerships, and they drop everything to help u. One I know has a a timer and guarantee to get u out in an hour or so. There was no urgency in getting the customer waiting for an oil change out the door and back on the road.The only reason it got 2* is nice waiting area, and good coffee.
Do not under any circumstance take your vehicle here for service. My truck went in for three different issues and came out worse than it was to begin with. They told me that they would be able to fix it in a few weeks and if I didn’t feel safe driving it that I could rent a car out of my own money. Let me just say this truck has less than 15,000 miles and it’s 70+ thousand dollars. My truck is unsafe to drive and I voice my concerns with the service manager he could care less. Worse dealership experience ever!!!!

Finance manager Tyler spent time after the sale just to make small talk with me.I had a terrible experience with my local dealership and it was totally worth the 3 hour drive to meet Stuart.I special ordered a 2021 Charger all over the phone dealing with Stuart. Waited a few weeks for it to come in and made the drive to the dealership to pick it up. I have never bought a vehicle in less time and felt so at ease. The personal attention took all the tension and stress out of the process.Keep up the good work guys
Their service department is horrible! We have had experiences similar to the other reviews indicating their frustration with the service department. We have what we thought was a top-of-the-line truck that is just two years old and has been in for service of the same issue, a battery that randomly goes dead, four separate times only to be told “we didn’t find anything wrong,” and “maybe you left something on.” Really? Four times?! When the truck was less than six months old we had a complete failure of the computer system and while it was in for that problem, our rear back up sensors mysteriously disappeared while on their lot, and none of the Sirius XM connections could be restored. We paid to replace the sensors and gave up on trying to get Sirius connection restored. Even after waiting months for the part to come in to repair the computer, they were non apologetic and flippant about the time and inconvenience. They have the same attitude with respect to the random dead battery issues. Take your money elsewhere both product and service are of poor quality.
2018 - I was directed to Cole through the Costco Auto Program & it was the easiest, most relaxed car buying experience Ive ever had!! Thank you to Tyler, Joel, Stu & Dave for making a normally stressful process easy :)2021 UPDATE - I have not used Cole regularly for service but after working with Johnie Medina in the service department I will travel the extra distance to go there. Johnie was great - friendly, informative, kept me apprised of the status of my vehicle repair. He was definitely the best dealership service advisor Ive dealt with in years. Bogus dealership! I used the kelly blue book cash offer deal they offer. I wanted more than the cash offer suggested. The guy i spoke with tells me” Thats just what kbb suggest, but we can probably do better after we see it”. My truck is basically brand new. So long story short, I drive a half hour north, show my truck to another dude. This cat tells me it’s basically worth less than kkb offers. Untrustworthy. Would not buy from this place. Just my opinion.

We just bought our 2016 Jeep Patriot yesterday 2/24/19 from this awesome dealership! Been looking around the area for this certain type of Jeep. Due to highs and lows reviews, we decided to go with it. We didn’t plan on buying that night, but Joel (I believe his name was) helped us out so much. We needed a family car and something for our dogs to be comfortable in when traveling. Everything went great from the moment we stepped into the lot. Our dealer was not pushy at all, very honest (which we don’t get a lot with purchasing big things), and cool dude! Not many people can say they feel like family at a dealership. Yet those who choose to maintain their car or buy at Cole can! These guys were great! Told them what we wanted and they made it happen. The vehicle that we wanted wasnt even on their lot but they found one for me and three days later, I am the proud owner of a 2018 Ram 2500 Laramie with the 6.4 liter gas engine. Granted, I go to Cole a lot because I put a lot of miles on my car. Almost 250,000 miles on my Mazda and no mechanical issues. The service advisors are knowledgeable and the service is top rate. They do a great job of taking care of their customers and the customers car. The price for service is reasonable and they often have coupons to help manage the cost of service. I wont take my car anywhere else.
As a former technician, service advisor and service manager for many years, I get a kick out of reading some of these reviews. I remember those days ahem....fondly. You cant please everyone, but you guys do a great job of pleasing most of your guests. I have bought a few cars from you guys now, and always get them serviced there. Everything has been perfect. From the sales process to service, great. It has always been my philosophy that as a customer, if you start out with a good attitude and a smile it will go a long way. Some of you should try it...

This is the first time Ive interacted with the dealer, and I came in for a service for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I find the idea of an express lane interesting, if not frustrating that no appointments can be made. Anyways, the staff is professional and the waiting area is actually pretty comfortable. My car was serviced quickly and the price was reasonable.I dock off a star because later that day I had issues with one of my wheels. It was scary, but the next day the service center took absolute care of it and was very apologetic. Anthony, the express lane guy, issued a refund. Mistakes happen --it couldve been any dealer. Problem was addressed right away and no damage was done.Pro-tip: call ahead to get a waiting time estimate for the express lane.
Update: I overreacted the dealership was actually pretty fair and had rational decision making. My problems were related to the dealership in Indiana in totality.I recently have had auto problems with my Dodge Journey I bought new in Indiana so I took it to Cole since I’ve moved across the country and dropped it off over night. I had bought an extended warranty and the lead service guy at cole said he would call and see if my problem was warrantied..... of course it’s not. Now here’s where I lose my respect for cole. They did not advocate to get the part covered they just wanted me to pay out of pocket. Over 800$......So of course I called and did all the legwork. Now aside from that Cole wanted to charge me about a hundred dollars to run a 30 second diagnostic check you can have done free at most places..... then the mechanic starts talking about needing to cut and rewire the perfectly good wire harness leading to my electronic throttle control..... I’m not sure their service department knows what they’re talking about..... this dealership’s service department is a joke.......now I’m unsure if I should even let such a shady business work on my car.........

After our first visit I was frustrated, we went to look around and not one person was around to help us with the car we were very interested in purchasing. That changed after getting everything going with Jay. He was nice and helpful and in the end we left with the car we had our eye on. This dealership parts department is run so efficiently. It is one of the cleanest shops weve seen and we definitely felt secure leaving our vehicle with them and trusted them with the repairs.
I recommend the Jeep parts and service department at this dealership. Not the cheapest in town but they usually have what I need in stock. Had a repair issue a couple if years ago but they stood behind the work and made it right, highly recommended.

Ive been here a few times over the years. Sales staff for vehicles are pretty typical but helpful. Prices were decent but not great when I was looking for a Jeep.Parts department is well stocked and Ive been able to get some very random small parts and they had them in Stock.
Since buying both of our Mazda’s at Cole, we have been absolutely delighted with the incredible service from the sales staff (Stuart and Walter) and service personnel (all) and our own personal serviceperson Patrick (makes us feel that way) !!! After purchasing my vehicle, i had have had nothing but 5 stars services. Friendly; professional and honest, Im always treated like family, not just by my Rep Agent (Kelly), but all staff members i come in contact with.There is no question, I would absolutely purchase another vehicle from Coles, when it comes time to update to a new car..I highly recommend this Dealership, with any hesitation. Traded in my Ram 2500 Diesel in pristine condition with super low miles for a jeep wrangler once I saw what they turned around and posted my RAM for I immediately felt ripped off and taken advantage of as they posted it for 8k higher than what they gave me for it. i know they need to make a profit but they could have been more fair and balanced on the trade in price.. Felt very unfair for them to do this especially for a returning MOPAR customer that support domestic car manufacturers. I am a blue collar worker that values the dollar I work hard to get. I felt like Cole reached into my pocket and took more money that what they really may have,
My service at Coles over the past several years has been 100% Excellent and always on time with very professional staff. I took my Jeep Wrangler in to Cole for a factory recall. I had never been there before and here are some of my impressions. You walk in the entrance to the service department into a hallway defined by cubicles and partitioned desks. I was assigned to a service person at the time my wife made the appointment and I was directed to his desk. I stood there watching him talk on the phone while I stood in the hallway between the block wall and his desk all the time dodging employees and customers using the hallway. When I returned to pick up my Jeep, the experience was the same watching him talk on the phone and talk to a service technician.Although, not a particular negative experience, I thought it would be helpful to the dealership to offer my first impressions.Suggestions for improvement:1.When an appointment is made, why is it necessary to stand and wait so you can hand your assigned person the keys to your vehicle. The same applies to picking up your car when your done. The service writer is obviously busy. Why not have someone there to check customers in and out.2.There is a huge room behind the service departments desks. move those desks back so customers can stand out of the way of hallway traffic .3. When I brought my Jeep in, I was instructed to park it in the service lane next to the building. When I picked it up I had to go look for it in the parking lot. Have someone bring the vehicle to you.I dont believe that when you have reached the level of success that Cole has, with your customer base and your beautiful building, that customer service should not be at pinnacle of your operation.It is very easy to become complacent and forget the important things. There are way too many negative reviews posted on this site and it should be of concern to Cole and its employees. Most of these complaints could have been averted, at least initially, keeping customer service in mind..
We were here on our vacation and had an issue with our truck... took it in on Mon. And had it back on Tues. The mechanic AJ was excellent very professional, as was everyone else in the service department right down to the cashier.So you think only three stars... why... well sales department needs a lot of work...specifically with the used car manager.... we were very interested in purchasing a 2014 Dodge RAM 2500 4x4 we made a respectable verbal offer to our sales person and before he could even respond the manager is out of his office screaming about not even entertaining our offer: which was only 800 less than the asking price and with tax would have been 3500 under asking price. In my opinion a respectable offer. There was no suggestion of a counter offer or anything, he walked away. And not to mention he left customers in his office to come out and run his mouth in the lobby area. I felt very bad for the salesman who just sat there putting up with guy busting up his opportunity to close a sale.Lets also keep in mind that this was a cash in hand offer after I just spent $1500.00 in the service department, the truck being repaired was originally purchased and serviced at this dealership including a rebuild on the tyranny all the way down to purchasing batteries from these people, and we have owed 5 previous Dodge/Chrysler cars/trucks.So sales is a zero star rating in my opinion and service is a 5 star.

Ive only had my new Durango in for regular oil changes so far. I use the express lane. No appointment needed. Just show up. Your greeted with a smile they take care of business including washing your car and deliver on time. Very efficient, competent and friendly. No reason for me to go anywhere else.
I just realized that their service department switched my LA Dodgers license plate frame for their own frame to advertise their dealership, without telling me. Its not worth complaining to them because a far easier fix is to spend $20 on a new plate frame. But, seriously, who does that??? I just wont use their service department anymore.UPDATE: I originally gave this a two star review for the reasons stated above reasons. Once I posted this on Google and Yelp they called and e-mailed me in less than 24 hours and offered to replace the license plate frame. Im chalking it up as a misunderstanding.

Last few service experiences were quite sub standard. They charged for service which they did not deliver. We took the car elsewhereand found out Cole was unreliable andfailed to service what we went in for.Foolishly returned for an express oil change.Waited at the counter 15 munutes for the service person. They did not fill the fluids,Spilled oil inside the car and to add insult to injury, increased their price by 30%.Their estimates on brake repair differed by125.00 for the exact parts and labor.Even their tax rate calculation was inconsistent.Service manager was only interested in excuses, offered nothing for having spilled oil in the car. Tried to justify what were clearly arbitary estimates. I find them to be dishonest, unreliable and unprofessional.In the very least, inspect to see if they did what you were charged for and thoroughly check your invoice calculations.Best - go elsewhere.
Friendly staff, comfortable waiting area, fast service:I took my car in for an oil change (no appointment necessary), was greeted by friendly staff and invited into their comfortable lounge that includes a very nice coffee machine. With several people in line ahead of me, my car was ready in about an hour.

Worst experience ever! After making a full price offer on their advertised sticker price, they came back with a higher price and told us they put the wrong stickers on the car! My husband had been looking at the car for several days and the price had been the same until they got us into their office and wasted our entire morning. And dont get me started on their service dept. Not sure how they stay in business. Run as fast as you can from this dealership!

I sat down and agreed to some numbers for a Dodge Charger and they assured me that I had been approved so moved on to signing some paperwork only to find that I wasnt. Also, last minute they tried to get me to agree to different numbers. Glad there was an issue with the bank otherwise I would have been ripped off. They dont seem to work with too many banks so rates and prices arent too competitive. I found an even better car with less miles and in better condition at another dealership and they could not compete. Salesman was okay, not too much pressure but also not very nice either. I was ignored upon arrival and he only greeted my boyfriend, which was annoying cause I was the one buying.

Took my Jeep Wrangler to Cole Chrysler Dodge Jeep after the check engine light came on. The Jeep was purchased from this dealer and has always been taken back to Cole for service and repairs.After what seemed like an eternity the mechanic said he couldt figure out what was wrong and charged me $148 for effectively doing nothing I couldnt have done myself by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.Most dealerships will reset an error code for free, the fact I was charged essentially for doing nothing is just plain robbery.
Bought a Mazda rx5 from Vince silva. Best experience I have ever had. No pressure and explained all the functions this car had. Came in today for service and dealt with Brian. He completed all my requests and washed the vehicle for me. This is the way all dealerships should be. I will come here for my next car purchase for sure. I have purchased lots of cars for my daughters wife and I and have never been treated this good
Live in San Jose CA . I had to do a factory recall on a 2005 Dodge Sprinter .Local dealers gave me a 6 months time frame for appointment and leave the car at the service for 2 weeks . I called Cole, the gave me an appointment within a couple of days, they did the work . Totally worthed to drove down 3 hours and back . If i could, i will even drive down for any other service if i need one !!! Thank you Cole!!

Today I brought my car to the dealer because my check engine light was on and we had a recall! We go to this dealership all the time and never have I ever had a terrible experience until now!!! At first the lady who checked us in was so rude and reminded me that they take lunch from 12-1 so your car will be here a while, and I replied I know but it’s my only car I don’t have a choice. Than when it came to payment she told my husband and I that we would just need to pay the 99 dollar diagnostic, because this is the only dodge who doesn’t take Mopar coupons, than when we came to pay is was twice as much as she has originally discussed with us! When trying to explain to her that we were over our daily debt transactions she Jody basically called my husband a lier and said she would not give us our car, and mind you they only needed two dollar difference fromWhat I paid with my card!!! Than she lied and saidThe car wash was broken and couldn’t wash our car and than I came out and the mechanic washed it!!! We get in our car and they didn’t even put a next visit stickerFor our next oil change!!!! I will never be back!!!

Bought an amazing longhorn hemi truck but was told 22 MPG only to find it gets 8 10 city 12 16 freeway. Hemi gas guzzler sucks! $500 month on gas. They wont make it right offered me $6100 less than i paid them 2 weeks ago or so and didnt honor sale price on new truck. David cole clearly does not care, it would seem he cant wait to be done with the dealership or you would see real effort not fake concern for all these bad reviews. See for yourself. Yelp, google and others. Clearly some reviews are commisioned fake positive reviews. commercials are so fake. David cole does not care how badly his crew treats you after the check is in his bank.
I went to Cole Dodge told the sales guy I wanted to tow a trailer at 9500 lbs and wanted a GPM of around 20-25 like my work trucks (fully loaded 16-22) and under 30K$ no problem made it happen said he got 22MPG in his 1/2 ton short bed truck just like this one and we were off to a great start. the guy writing everything up treated me like an idiot with his shell game of numbers. I should have just left then but was thinking they said 22MPG its under $30K it will tow 9500 lbs. Im good, This guy lying to me doesnt matter just take the truck and go. I drove home with 16MPG freeway 8-10 in town. Clearly nobody knew the MPG but went by specs. No fault but it was misinformation and a deal breaker! cole dodge refused to acknowledge it and make it right. I am now making a luxury car payment in gas money every month.they said I could trade it in on another truck so they wrote it up and depreciated the truck I bought from them less than 30 days prior $6,100.00 and didnt honor the sale price of the new truck. I said this was not my fault you guessed and was wrong about the MPG and left me with a luxury car payment in gas every month! they didnt care just tried to rip me off again. David cole wrote me an email charging me full price for the truck he has on line for, instead of giving me the ask for discount price. then offered me way less for the truck I was told would get 22 MPG and paid $27.100.00 for. Glad I didnt get talked into the new 2500 $50-60K Dont waste your time there as there extended warrantees are only good at cole dodge and will be useless after they are gone. I tried to get a logical resolution from David Cole but his desperation to rip me off again was a deal breaker. Their desperation for funding is unsettling. I think they are broke as the lot is always empty and read the hundreds of horrible experiences in reviews on yelp Facebook google etc,.. look it up you will be shocked. that many bad reviews and David Cole auto replies with fake concern. Clearly the positive reviews are commissioned. ratings boosters they post a bunch of fake positive reviews just like those. Go down south or on line dont waste your time or hard earned money at cole dodge. Their certified inspections are a car wash, detail and on the lot.
Rich is the only guy who took me seriously and the rest looked down to me because i am a woman bringing in the car for service and asking them questions. Never seen any dealership, so dishonest and only after money. If i were the owner, i will be reading the reviews and make changes. They ignored my problem that i was having problem with my van and right after a month of warrranty expiration, they found bunch of stuff. What happened to the old time service of treating everybody like a family. I guess they are focusing too much in their looks but zero in their service department. I dont need to seat in a fancy place and drink coffee or watch TV. give me honesty and good price and i will come back again. People dont go there just to save couple of thousands of dollars, they will get all that and more when your car needs service.

What a great vehicle, we bought a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited with the 3.2 V-6, made 31.5 miles per gallon on a trip to Wyoming, beautiful ride, easy handling. Looking forward to towing a trailer with it.
