As an avid auto enthusiast, I would highly recommend Auto Experts! Anthony was great to deal with! I needed a small electrical issue sorted that I knew would not take long, however I just didn’t have the proper tools. I called around and shops were quoting me 4x the amount Anthony quoted me. When I arrived, he had me in and out within minutes. It’s really nice to see there are still some honest auto repair shops that won’t take advantage of you. I can confidently say I will definitely be bringing my car to Auto Experts for any future repairs!

I feel genuinely disappointed by the team at Auto “Experts.” My car has only been owned by two families since 1985, and every piece was original until it’s last visit to this place on the 10th. It went in with 4 hubcaps, after the drive home, there were 3. Seems odd that they stayed on since the purchase date and suddenly one disappears after a tire rotation.

Ive used several mechanics in SLO and I have to say that I have never once been disappointed in any way with the service provided by Anthony and his team. More integrity and professionalism than any other mechanics Ive done business with.

My father has used Auto Experts for the past 11 years. Anthony is always fair and honest. Now that I have a car of my own, I have no plans to take my business elsewhere. I have used Auto Experts for the past year and they have treated me as fairly and honestly as they did my dad. In addition, they have treated my brothers, my girlfriend, and my brothers girlfriend the same way (just to name the people that I know directly.) An honest mechanic is rare to find and Anthony is one of the few.

There isnt a whole lot that I can say about this place that hasnt been said before Anthony of the owner is a great mechanic and he really cares about us customers and isnt going to steer you wrong. I know this cuz I was a service writer for a few years and really got to see how he cares about his customers as well as making sure that your car is dependable log into the future. Anthony keep up the good work with you and your crew. Cant forget taco as well and his smog expertise.

I really like this place. The mechanics are skilled and honest. Unfortunately, I recently called them three times to schedule an appointment for a repair that they identified and said I needed. I never received a call back, even for the third call during which I spoke to someone who remembered me and the needed repair. That person said that they were with a customer and they would call back, but they never did. I dont mind having to call a couple times. I understand being very busy. But after a third call and talking to someone...Im a bit worn out from chasing down vendors.

I have come to Anthony at Auto Experts for 20 yrs. I trust him implicitly to make the wise decision for my vehicles. If he cant find the problem, he will stay with it until he finds it. His knowledge of so many makes and models of cars is awesome. The dealership is a money grab, in my view. Thats why I will always go to Auto Experts.

Probably the most knowledgeable mechanic in SLO. Works on all makes and models. If you go to a bar or restaurant in SLO and ask who should you take your car to get fixed, they will probably say Auto Experts.

This is the best auto repair shop in SLO. Its so nice to know that when you take your car in that you will be taken care of properly. You can 100% trust this shop and they really know what theyre doing. This is the only place Ill take my cars in.

One of the best places in SLO to get your car fixed. They do a standard tune up, and repairs. They wont rip you off and give you some of the best deals in town. Everybody who works there is very nice. Car is always repaired quickly!

I Needed the brakes done asap on my 2016 Ford Transit. I asked around everyone kept raving about Auto Experts. I knew something was really wrong that day so I drove into Auto Experts. They put the van on the lift, assessed the situation and said you need the rear brakes done the front are ok. I asked what day can I bring it in? they said they had time right now. They gave me a fair price which was $300 less than what the dealer told me when I had my service done. I enjoyed my time in the waiting area talking with the Owner Anthony. Great customer service, employees were awesome and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. I am greatful they fit me in on a Friday afternoon and were very fast and on point.

I have had Anthony and his crew work on all my cars for over 15 years. They have ranged from domestic to foreign, pickups to sedans, and everything in between and they always do an A+ job for a fair price.They are one of the last drop it off and forget it shops around and never have that dreaded Oh, by the way, we had to do X extra and have to charge $$$$$ more than we estimated. My FIRST visit to Auto Experts. Got a smog check. The intake guy, Kevin, slammed the hatch back of my Subaru on my head by accident, leaving me with a hugh bump on my head and a splitting headache! I asked him if he could make good by kicking me down a discount. He said he had to ask his boss. He disappeared into an office then came back and said his hands were tied and there was nothing he could do. I left then called and asked Kevin to talk to his boss. He put me on hold for about three minutes then I was disconnected. I called back and the boss answered. I asked him what Kevin told him. He said Kevin told him that I walked into the tailgate. I said I figured it was something like that. The boss said hed ask Kevin about it but that was it. No apology, no gestures to make it right. I wont go back. Disappointing to say the least.
