Local co-op, that you can own too for a small annual fee.This is one of the small business that make me feel safe to shop during the pandemic, they also have been the first to offer fabric masks during the pandemic and that was great.The staff is always welcoming and smiling, even when they are among themselves, the atmosphere is so peaceful. The products are great, yes, some things can be really pricey but thats showbiz baby.They have monthly owners appreciation days and perks, they do charity donations on certain days too by giving away a percentage of their sales and otherwise have frequent sales on very different items so youre guaranteed to not eat the same lettuce for 3 months in a row. The quality and freshness of the veggies and fruits is really hard to match around here, unless you get your food directly from farms.Also they offer food freshly prepared on site, on top of all the other delicious things they carry. So much choice, brands, and bulk cereals, legumes, coffee etc.They also have a wellness section, with supplements, shampoos & soap refills.They have small bakery shelves, the bread is always fresh and excellent.Go get your membership, its worth every cent.

Love having this amazing co-op as my neighborhood grocery store! Produce is amazing, staff are so fun, and they have such a great vegetarian friendly selection! So glad I joined as a member.

Amazing! Wish there was a veggie pre-made sandwich option. Sprouts, cucumber and cream cheese are really yummy. The tuna salad sandwich and other items were great. Beautiful and stylish staff

This charming small local grocery co-op models Zero Waste, serving as a refillery for many items. That means that on addition to the normal bulk section, they have bulk teas and spices (best and freshest selection in SLO), as well as soaps, shampoos, Oasis laundry detergent (breaks down into plant nutrients- great for grey-water systems). Support your local co-op by joining, and youll get special discounts.

Friendly staff, great selection of herbs & vitamins, fresh and daily stocked selection of local produce and baked goods. They also have some healthy in-house made items to grab for breakfast or lunch.

Have all the basic items youd be looking for, plus more. Slightly higher prices on some products, which is totally worth the experience of shopping small at a place where employees are friends & friendly(but not overly involved in your shopping/customer service is our priority brand of friendly). Produce is good quality, not overpriced, comprehensive, and as local as possible. Good selection of non-produce items ranging in price and type. Also great bulk selection. Quaint, quick, and pleasant.

A nice place to shop. Limited selection of wines and foods. Does have nice local fruit and produce. Friendly staff. Reminded me of my college days in Alaska when my granolite friends and I would routinely shop at stores like these.

High quality products!!! Locally sourced produce. I love how some of the produce will say name of farm it came from. Will also say if produce is certified organic or if the farm practices organic.

Prices are on the higher side, but you get the convenience of a neighborhood market with a nice selection of bulk goods and healthy/natural products. The best buy is their bulk spices. You can take as much as you need without having to buy a whole jar for a new recipe you want to try. Also, the workers here are friendly and helpful.

My go to health food, nutrients and bulk grains. There are great advantages to being a member of the coop, savings, happy people and just feeling like your investing in the health of the community. Service and nutritional advice, brand selection, comprehensive array of natural products. Some bulk items (body care and food) allow to reuse my own containers which is a great service. Also count on their contracts with local sources of organic and vegetables and bigger items like fish and poultry.
