Working with Excellent Designs was an absolute pleasure. We were completely blown away with our flowers for our wedding. We shopped around about 6 different florists but after speaking with Ali, we knew we had found the right one. Many of the florists we sat with didnt ask the questions that Ali did and didnt seem to care about our style and were quick to quote us an outrageous price. His knowledge of the different flowers (especially the ones that are in season) was crucial in capturing the look we wanted and he was able to stay within our budget within reason. Communicating was always effortless and they were able to accomodate a couple last minute changes with no issues. When we showed up on the day-of the wedding, we were in complete awe at all the flowers and so many people came up to us and complimented us on the style and sheer number of flowers everywhere. I would recommend Ali and his team 10 times over! Ali and his team did my arch for the gazebo, bridesmaid bouquets, bridal bouquet, boutenierres, corsages, center pieces, petals and baskets for the flower girls, and sweetheart table arrangement. First of all, I have never met a business owner who worked so kindly with me on the budget. Ali made so many tweaks for me and had so many money-saving ideas so that I could get exactly what I wanted, with what I had. Ali then arranged with my mom to pick up ribbon from her at the flower market. When we figured out I had picked bright white instead of ivory, mom and Ali arranged to switch out ribbon. Ali and his wife emailed me clarifying a few flowers we had talked about because they were unsure if what I wanted would make my bridal bouquet stand out from the others. Ali and the team worked with me on what I wanted for the gazebo and sweetheart table arrangements and transfer. Most importantly and special to me though, was what my dad described to me after the wedding. He arrived early to the wedding and sat in the guest chairs in front of the gazebo. Ali and the team showed up, bulk flowers and wire in hand, with the photo that I had provided to Ali. He showed it to the team, pointed to the gazebo and explained, and the team got to work. Ali came back later, took out the photo, pointed, and the team rearranged the arch display. This happened a few more times until every hand-crafted piece was perfectly splayed from the arch. It turned out PERFECTLY, exactly as I had always imagined and exactly like the photo I gave to Ali. I really could not believe it and am so grateful to them for making me feel so taken care of, from start to finish, and doing an absolutely KILLER job.

Ali and excellent designs did an amazing job at my wedding. From the beautiful centerpieces to my gorgeous bouquet and my headpiece. Everything was exactly as I expected. Ali was always so nice and patient with me and went out of his way to make everything perfect. I highly recommend them for any special events.

Ali was very personal and accommodating. Initially, we were located in the same area of which we were getting married, however, we unexpectedly moved to Houston, TX shortly after meeting him. He made the day so special that even the staff at the venue asked us who did the flowers and other stuff as our wedding was one of the best they had seen at the venue (which the venue has as a ton of weddings). Thanks to Excellent Designs for our great gazebo draping and chair sashes. Our ceremony site was beautiful because of these along with the flowers our florist provided. Ali was so easy to deal with and was very helpful all throughout the planning process. He really exceeded my expectations. Excellent is exactly what Excellent Design is all about. My daughter had her wedding on May 20th and Excellent Design did a wonderful job. We contracted with them for flowers, lighting, to decorate several tables, chafing dishes, backdrop for a sweetheart table with decorations and a sweetheart chair. They came in did their job with excellent timing and the ballroom looked beautiful. They came in after the wedding and collected all of their equipment without us even noticing. My wedding ballroom looked just beautiful! The entire set-up including the stage, our sweetheart table, the flowers on cake, guest table decorations, my bridal bouquet and anything and everything i can think of was excellent!The entire place was full of beautiful flowers! And they were good quality! Its been 10 days since the wedding and my bridal bouquet roses and center pieces are still going - (about 10% or less dried out - yes theyre in fresh water but still!)Truly loved their work and would definitely go back to them for any future event decorations! =)Also, really fair prices and Ali provides excellent customer service.

I worked with Ali at a wedding that took place at the Dana on Mission Bay. Their flowers and other decorations were extremely beautiful and elegant, but what impressed me the most was Alis customer service. He was so friendly and professional that it almost made me cry. We hired an excellent designer for a Sweet 16th Birthday in the boat ( Bahia Belle ) on February 25th, 2017. They provided an excellent design and did a fantastic job decorating both floors. My husband & I got married on April 29, 2017. Excellent Designs was literally our lifesaver. Ali and his team did everything for us; from ceremony to reception. He was very efficient and responsive, helpful, and always willing to work with our budget. Ali was honest with what he can work with and figured other ways to help us get the look we were going for at a reasonable price. We could not have chosen a better one stop shop than Excellent Designs.We wanted a certain look – somewhat rustic, whimsical, and romantic. We had our reception at Marina Village and we were set on having a sheer ivory backdrop, showing off parts of the wood in our venue. Ali did not have the sheer ivory but knew that’s what I envisioned. I asked if it was possible, and his exact words to me were, “Even if I have to lose money, if I say I will do it, I will deliver!” After we had the conversation, I left the ball in his hands, trusted him, and indeed Ali DELIVERED!All I can say was when we walked into the church we were speechless; then even more blown away at the reception. My review for Excellent Designs is long overdue. My husband and I used Alis team for our October 11, 2015 wedding in Coronado, California, and we are so happy that we did. Out of all of our vendors, Excellent Designs was by far the most AFFORDABLE and PROFESSIONAL out of the bunch. Since I was planning my wedding from out of town, I opted for a phone consultation with Ali where I was able to make my selections from his assortment of photos on his website.When Ali went to pick my flowers up a few days before the wedding, they didnt have one of the shades of pink that I wanted for my wedding. Ali immediately called me and explained the minor hiccup, and then he promptly texted me pictures of other pinks that were in stock for me to choose from (no biggie). On the day of the wedding, the flowers came out perfect and the colors popped in all of my photos. I was SOOOOOO happy that we went with Excellent Designs instead of handling the flowers ourselves (which we originally planned).Seriously guys, stop looking at other companies and book Excellent Designs!

Its been several months since our wedding on February 17th earlier this year and I have to say weve had a wonderful experience working with Ali Sirat of Excellent Designs.
