If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My wife and I experienced outstanding service at this store. Switching from older phones and service plan to new phones and new plan required much explanation and patience on the part of Denise and store manager Richard. Denise showed why the new phone capabilities and new plan option would save us money and provide better service. In setting it all up, AT&Ts system malfunctioned multiple times, a rarity according to them. Richard, worked multiple attempts until he thought up a way around method which got everything working again. Both Richard and Denises many years of experience was evident. During this whole time they both juggled a busy time in the store with many other customers. Patience was necessary by everyone in the store and it worked. We have been AT&T customers for 45 years because of these type of experiences. Big thanks to them both!

This store lied to us, changed our quote 3 days after we started service with them and supposedly don’t know how it happened. They would not change our monthly bill which was $70 more a month than what we signed up for. Luckily we were able to cancel because I caught it within the 14 day cancellation period but they had already sent off my trade in phone and said there was not way to get it back. David the manager is a liar and condescending and although Raul was nice, he obviously made a mistake and instead of owning up to it he and/or David went behind our backs and changed our estimate. My experience with them was horrible, a huge waste of time and money. I literally spent the rest of my Friday trying to fight off a panic attack because of the aweful mistreatment. We are now happily back with Verizon.

Bait and Switch!!! Unethical selling tactics!! My wife and I have been life long Verizon customers but when we moved to North County the service to our phones was lacking. We found out that AT&T was one of the better providers for North County so on May 9th we went and spoke with Raul about switching over. We were very very clear about our budget. We were told by Raul that our monthly bill would be around $130-$140 because fees and taxes could vary. For clarity sake David the Manager was there pretty much the entire time we were speaking with Raul. We also told Raul that we would like our billing cycle to start the 15th. He said that wouldnt be a problem. We were all stoked and signed up! My wife traded in her old iphone for the new Iphone. We were given our new phones and given steps to activate them. We were told that everything would be simple. Well it wasnt. My wife and I spent hours having to go between Verizon and at&t to get our new phones to accept phone calls and texts. It took just as long to port everything over. I know we have been out of the cell phone business for a while but Verizon has always done these things for us. Verizon was more helpful in this situation then AT&T! This should have been our first sign. A little over a week after we started service with AT&T my wife gets a text stating that our bill is ready to view. She looks it over and it is WAY more than what we were told. We understood that this bill would be higher because of activation fees but it was almost $400 dollars!. After she called customer service to go over the bill it was confirmed that the monthly bill was going to be $208. That is a $70 a month difference from what they initially quoted us. When we went to the email with our original estimate that was sent the 9th and clicked on the link it rerouted us to an estimate created the 12th!! This was obviously not the estimate we were given but one that somebody (Raul or David?) created afterwards. I do not know what happened after we left but if a mistake had been made they should have called us immediately, not go behind and try cover up their mistake. When we go to the store we were told that there was no manager on duty and that we would have to come back on Friday. I took Friday off of work to handle this situation. I called when the store opened and they said the manager (David) was not in but should be in at 12. I called again at 12, David was still not there but on his way so we headed out 10 minutes later. We get to the store at about 12:30. David is still not there. The assistant manager Rich tried to help us out as best he could but after finding out that our bill was indeed going to be around $208 and also that the original quote from the 9th had disappeared and there was apparently no way to recover it we told him that there was NO WAY we were going to do business with them. This is the sketchiest most unethical situation I have dealt with in a very long time. We were within the 14 day cancellation period. I asked for my wifes phone back and I was told that there was no way of recovering it. WHAT?! I asked them how they were going to compensate us for all of this, the lies, waste of time, my wifes phone, all of it. Finally, David shows up about an hour and a half later. He tried to cut me of several times while I was speaking, he was condescending and out right lied to me about his military service. Yes, you read that right. He started talking about being in the military, I was in the military and so was most of my wifes family so we know a lot about most of the branches. The things he was saying didnt line up and so I asked him a few very specific questions. He couldnt answer them, he quickly changed the subject. He also made it very clear to us that He never waives restocking fees but he would do it for us. Thats a no brainer David. My wife and I got scammed by your store so yea, you are going to waive the restocking fee. At the end of it all AT&T got an Iphone donated to them (nice way of saying they stole it from us) and all we got was a HORRIBLE experience!

Amanda from the San Marcos location was amazing. I made a last minute decision to update my phone and she made the process so smooth and easy. I had my baby with me and she was so helpful making things easier on me. Everything was so personal as well. She showed me all the good promo to make sure I was getting the best deals. She also did an amazing job at recommending additional products for my new phone that I ended up purchasing (phone case, screen protector, charger). On top of being amazing she was also extremely mindful of COVID guidelines and making sure I felt safe and comfortable with everything. Thank you so much Amanda (:

If I could put negative, I would. Stay away from this store. It has the worst service possible. I had an appointment, was ignored for 30 minutes with employees sitting around in plain view. Finally just left. I will drive anywhere else to avoid this store....although I find AT&T customer Service to be just about the worst on the planet...this store is a perfect fit! Great training!

Weve had an excellent experience at this location thanks to the help from Marcelle. It was our first time in an AT&T store and needed help setting up internet for our new home (we had just moved to CA). Marcelle was excited for us and welcomed us to CA and helped us right away. She was more than confident and knowledgeable in giving us information and answering all of our questions. She was also very patient and thorough in explaining and communicating details for us. I was also curious about the process of possibly making the switch from Verizon to AT&T. She was quick in providing all of the information and calculating everything for us so that there wouldnt be any surprises if wed decided to make the switch. Her customer service was so good that we were HOPING shed be there when we went back a few days later to make the switch! There was so much that went into the process, but Marcelle took the lead all the way through. We are very happy with our new phones and excited to join AT&T. Hey corporate people, please make sure your employees like Marcelle get well taken care of! Energetic, confident, personable, FUN sales people like her are who brings in new customers and maintains the loyal customers! First time experience is everything, and Marcelle made it great for us. Thanks girl!

Due to β€œCovid 19’ they will literally only work with one person at a time. Ie if you show up with your child they have to wait outside the store... ALONE. Don’t bother going here. Buy your phone online or better at Costco where they have social distancing but not absurd rules.

Very disappointed in At and t’s service. I have been a customer since Cingular wireless. Online support told me about their upgrade deals then when I went to the store it was different story. The sales rep explained the deal and it is structured completely different than they explained through online support (upgrade is not worth it as you have to pay At and t monthly for 30 months to even get the full discount off the phone.) The sales rep then explained the phones were sold out but it would be shipped to me within a day, but after I left the store I get an email stating the phone will be not be delivered for several days. I should have taken my business somewhere else.

This store gave a good first impression. The workers were professional and our sales rep Zelemma, was kind and made our visit quick and painless. Outstanding customer service and definitely recommend this place!RE: My 5 stars just went down to 1. The workers here act nice and tell you what you want to hear but when you comeback with an issue they just give you the run around and toss you to the side. Zulemma told me the $30 activation fee would be waived if I call customer service. After being on the phone for 2 hours, AT&T tells me that they aren’t able to waive activation fees and to go back to the store and have them waive it since that’s what the promised. I go to the store and an employee named Justin tells me that the only person that can waive activation fees is his manager, however he’s off work that day which is understandable. Justin logs into my account, takes my information down and says he’ll tell his manager to get back to me. 3 days later, still no contact from AT&T so I call the store 4 different times and everytime I call the manager is β€œbusy”. Horrible management. These people are quick to assist you and promise you everything when you walk in. But as soon as you have an issue they give you the run around.UNSATISSFIED

The store rep tried to have me pay again for phone tax which I paid online with att app. Then he lied about samsung fold that I just purchased using a 1tb SD card and that there were no cases or screen protectors for the phone yet... In-addition he explained scam for the $300 credit for turning in my LG V35 ThinQ wasnt worth it cause its only $10 per bill per month for 3 years and Id be better off selling it on ebay... He had very poor knowledge of product and services Considering porting to Verizon now for the experience after I return the Samsung fold that deletes my home screen icons constantly and noone can hear me talking on phone in fold mode, not worth $1980, better off buying unlocked $1300 on amazon.

Staff seems knowledgeable and nice, but the wait times for service is ridiculous. The only reason Im giving such a high rating is the fact that you can get a text message when youre next and there are good places to eat or waste time in the same shopping complex. If youre planning on going to this location, make sure you set aside at least an extra 30 minutes for service.

Absolutely horrible customer service by a manager named Austin he was completely dismissive and rude the entire time I was there. He refused to listen to what I had to say or help me with my device spoke over me and literally did nothing but tell me he would not help me. I will never be going back to that location or purchasing anything from such a terrible management representative . It was disgusting how rude he thought he could treat me repeatedly talking down and not listening to the concerns I had. What an awful store managed by an awful person. So funny how different you are treated after you have spent thousands at there store will be taking my business elsewhere and letting everyone in my network know of my experience. He also tried to sell me something that wouldnt have fixed my problem so he could make a commission off me as well as try to sell me a refurbished phone instead of exchanging the product I just purchased. Careful with this store, a staff member was rude, unprofessional and felt like I was being accused of something, this was from trying to Make an exchange. when I sent a complaint about the way I was treated, they pretty much tried to screw with my account and got billed for 500$ and calling att had no idea what happened, till I finally went to vista att and they found out the problem was at this store. My return was β€œmishandled” from this San Marcos store and got billed for 500$. I’ve never had this type of problem at att after 5 years with them.

Sonia/Los Posas San Marcos store was beyond rude and completely hateful to me. I was helped out by Phil. I knew what I wanted, but I wanted to see some phones in person before purchasing one. I was going to get the Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge, but I ended up getting a Samsung Galaxy S6. The process probably took 30 minutes, more or less. Everyone was friendly, the process was fast and I got what I wanted. Super excited to start using my new phone!! Thanks AT&T ^_^Edit 2/17 Came in a couple days ago to get a new phone and the apple series 5 watch. Staff is always helpful and friendly! I was able to get what I needed. Although today I realized I had one more line than I needed. Chatted through the myAtt app and they were very prompt as well. πŸ˜„πŸ‘Edit 12/23 Was planning to purchase the last iPad Pro 12.9 256gb space gray they had ( they’re so hard to find!) I went after work around 5pm 12/22 and someone greeted me saying it would be about an hour wait and they would call me. I waited an hour and no call, went home and still no call. Even today still no call lol. I wish they would have at least called to schedule an appointment. Rating from 5 to 4... Anyways, ended up just buying it online when I went home that day and was able to get the iPad Pro 1TB in silver delivered today! Which was I wanted in the first place! It’s a present for my Mother, just in time for Christmas😊

Went to this store to look at the new IPhone 5 and The Samsung Galaxy S3. They have and excellent selection of phones and there is about 6 employes there ready to answer any question you might have. We also stopped by the Verizon sore and guess what all there phones were plastic face lol. Go there and see for your self it is very clean, friendly and all there phone are real so you can test them out and even make calls to test the quality of the call/phone.
